Any wonder as to why celebs are so fixated on their looks the Tom Cruise link is the reason why

    • evasmom says:

He still looks pretty good to me.

      • Lee says:

I agree. The whole thing is unnecessary

      • kibbles says:

I think he looks good in most of those pics because you can see his wrinkles. A lot of men look better with age. I think Tom looks better as a 50 year old with wrinkles rather than a 50 year old with skin pulled tight. He should stop now. Whatever he did in the past is starting to settle. He’ll look really bad if he does more plastic surgery.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I agree. It isn’t right to shame men or women about the aging process. smh.

    • Bridget says:

Tom Cruise is in his 50s and doesn’t even look old. The last thing he needs to do is go for more nips and tucks, he’s starting to teeter along the edge of ‘too much’

  2. Jan Harf says:

Whatever. I loved this years Oscars. Way better than the Golden Globes.

    • Happy21 says:

I did too. I found it very emotional. I thought the briefcase bit was terrible but what can ya do?!

    • Tiffany :) says:

The Oscars weren’t the most exciting thing, but I was struck by how much better they are than the Grammys, VMAs, AMA, etc. When you have actual actors reading the intros instead of celebrities posing as actors, it makes the show of much better quality.

    Poor Meep! RIP

  4. paola says:

How sweet is that post of Emma Watson for Steve Carell!

  5. Insomniac says:

That’s so sad about Ben Woolf.

  6. Happy21 says:

I need to bleach my eyes, wash my face and have a shower after daring to click on the Lindsay Lohan link. Good lord, ick. Just imagine what those photos would have looked like in colour! Ew!

    • Texased says:

Seriously! She looks terrible and that’s with TONS of lighting, make-up, Vaseline on the lens, etc. 28??

  7. Erinn says:

I unapologetically want to watch RedFoo on this. I don’t even watch dancing with the stars. But given his dancing in the LMFAO videos – I’m going to at least youtube every performance.

  8. Sumodo1 says:

Dig the coke face on Lilo.

  9. Greek Chic says:

Well you know officially that you are desperate when you take part in Dwts. Rumer looks nothing like herself!
Lilo’s photoshoot is so trashy, it looks like a call girl ad. Also she wishes her body looked like this.

    • Tippy says:

I respect them all for even attempting DWTS. If it helps them career-wise that’s fine by me.

It looks like hard work and some contestants have had to forfeit do to injuries suffered while training / competing.

I wish they would resurrect the old “Battle of the Network Stars” competition.

  10. lucy2 says:

    Rumer’s nose looks very different.
I’m surprised she’s doing DWTS, I thought she was trying to be a legit actress.

  11. Susan says:

    I’m obsessed with Robert Herjavec!

  12. BooBooLaRue says:

Don’t you have to HAD a career to be on DWTS?

  13. Jayna says:

DWTS is for D-Listers or stars who have had their day. Rumer must be pretty desperate to be doing this at her age.

Those three girls seem so odd. Rumer gets a few acting gigs. The other two seem to just be into talking about their issues. For Scout, it’s about nudity. For Tallulah, it’s her low self-esteem.
    Does anybody work?

Madonna, for all her faults, has a daughter who hasn’t lived for the limelight and has gone away to her mother’s college, which is kind of sweet, but a place that will give her privacy going to the University of Michigan.

  14. Pandy says:

Who ARE these people on DWTS? I recognize about 4 names. Geez.

  15. Ange says:

That link about the wedding – oh god. Seriously people need to take a good long look at themselves and then start asking the simple question: am I being genuine or just buying into the ridiculous wedding industrial complex? If it’s the latter take a seat and a long drink of perspective.

Know what I learned planning my wedding? That you can have an awesome time with your friends and family for a little bit of money and hardly any organisation if you CHOOSE it. Everyone was fed, they all danced, they sat wherever they felt like and at the end of the day we were married the same as anyone else. Don’t demand the extravaganza then complain when you have to do it.

    • laura.e says:

      Yep. This.
I have some friends that got married in 2013, had a huge 50+ guest list wedding and spent close to 60k on the wedding..
      6 months later.. separated..
      They are divorcing soon. Sigh.

    • kibbles says:

The older I get the less I think a wedding is essential to a happy marriage. We are all fed the dream of being a princess for a day and I wanted that when I was in high school and college. Then one beautiful summer day I saw an older couple being married at Boston Common with only their children and a few friends in attendance. It looked so intimate and the outdoor surroundings were beautiful, and best of all, free. I doubt they spent more than $500 on that day including dress and any reception or dinner they had. From then on I wanted to have an outdoor wedding at a park or low cost venue. I would even be happy with just going to city hall and having an intimate dinner with friends later on. I know plenty of people (and we’ve seen plenty of celebrities) who have spent thousands, even millions, of dollars on their wedding only to divorce a few years later. Was it worth it just to feel like a princess for a day? All that matters is that you’ve found the right person and are as passionate about working on your marriage even more than planning the wedding of the year. It’s completely unnecessary and a waste of money.

  16. smcollins says:

I’m in total agreement. My husband & I had a backyard wedding with only about a dozen guests (immediate family & a few friends). My wedding dress was a white sundress that I found on the clearance rack for $20. The whole thing was thrown together in a week (and, no, it wasn’t a shotgun wedding…lol). Both of my sisters had big, expensive weddings so my parents were more than happy with our no fuss no muss approach, and it was just as meaningful and fun. 🙂

  17. laura.e says:

Rumer looks great, she has such nice skin. And I’m loving the hair!

  18. Dr.Funkenstein says:

Rumer WIllis? LOL right, there’s a star for ya.
