Soon after Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin consciously uncoupled one year ago, the rumor mill started working overtime. There were always rumors about affairs for both Chris and Gwyneth, but everything got amplified post-uncoupling. To her credit, Gwyneth kept her infidelity game a bit tighter than Chris, although lots of people knew that Gwyneth was dealing with a married man named Brad Falchuk, a producer on Glee. Brad and Gwyneth met during her guest appearances on Glee and what was likely a casual affair turned into something more once Chris and Gwyneth uncoupled. At some point, Brad’s wife (and mother of his two children) filed for divorce. And soon Brad and Gwyneth were “together” officially, although they would never be so gauche as to actually walk a red carpet together or hold hands as they walk down the street. Still, Brad has slowly but surely entered Goop’s elite world. And this weekend, Brad got to be Gwyneth’s plus-one at Robert Downey Jr.’s 50th birthday party.
Gwyneth Paltrow is off the market again. While her ex Chris Martin, 38, enjoyed a romantic weekend with actress Jennifer Lawrence, 24, Paltrow went public with her beau – television producer Brad Falchuk. The Mortdecai actress, 42, made an appearance with the Glee producer, 44, at actor Robert Downey Jr.’s 50th birthday bash Saturday at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
The couple showed up to the star-studded soirée together, where they joined celebs including Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux and Jason Bateman. Falchuk attempted to hop out of the car quickly to open Gwyneth’s car door upon their arrival, but he didn’t quite make it, according to a source.
“They laughed about it and seemed very happy to together,” the source tells PEOPLE. Following their party outing, the duo grabbed dinner Sunday evening in Santa Monica at Chinois On Main. The hostess greeted Paltrow with a big hug, an onlooker shared.
Paltrow has been linked to the American Horror Story co-creator for more than a year, but has flown under the radar with their relationship. They attended a pre-Oscars party together back in February, according to a fellow party goer.
On one side, I respect Gwyneth for keeping her game tight and her public profile “clean.” I would assume that the casual Goop-follower – not the gossip-hounds on this blog! – probably wouldn’t even realize that Gwyneth and Brad’s relationship likely started when they were both married to other people. And Gwyneth will never, ever get tagged with the “homewrecker” label. Pish-posh! That kind of label only happens to people like Angelina Jolie.

I love that RDJ stays close with her. She needs genuine people in her life, she is so out of touch.
I remain surprised that she’s friends with RDJ. He wasn’t the cool kid in class. He had serious peasanty problems, he had to rebuild his life from scratch after prison. Heck….he was in prison.
And the wierdest thing of all is that he humanise her because we all think better of her for his friendship, at least I do.
He tried to date her in the early 90s before her and Pitt and she had her nose all the way up her behind, even more than now, and turned him down. To be fair he was doing drugs heavily then , but I m sure that’s not why.

I don’t think any woman should be pegged a home wrecker. It takes two to tango, and it’s the husband who decides to break up his family by pursuing the affair.

I get that… I was speaking generally about the “home-wrecker” term, and it’s application to women (including Angelina and Gwyneth).
I don’t know anything about the Falchuk’s marriage, but I know that Chris Martin had been stepping out on GP for many years. Alexa Chung, Kate Bosworth, to name a few. Probably countless others. Nobody calls him a home wrecker, even though those affairs were obvious, exposed by the media, and hurtful to the marriage.
Falchuk’s wife has been quiet, which makes me feel like she’s OK with the split, or maybe she’s just a private person. Maybe they were separated. Who knows? In any case, I think divorces are caused by MANY factors. When a home is wrecked, it’s wrecked by the people who built it failing to protect it, not by an outsider standing naked on the front lawn.

Agree that one should not get more blame. Since both were married with children at the time, it seems to mean equal responsibility, especially in this case. Sometimes it is one or the other, but not this time. If true, both should be painted with the same brush.
I agree. I don’t like the idea that one person is to blame, especially an outsider. If you’re in a relationship, it’s up to you and your partner to keep it on lock down. Even if someone cheats, it’s just another issue to resolve as a couple, one of many.
Funny it’s always the woman who gets blamed for breaking up a marriage. It’s like the guy has never any say in it.

The tie: makes no sense with the outfit

Stewart was the only one who did it in public. People could assume Angelina and Brad were doing it but there was never photographic evidence.

Jolie & Pitt have no PR. Gwyneth spends millions a year on PR, has a twitter account, an instagram account, etc. Goopy is clearly a PR addict- PERHAPS less so than the Kardashians or other desperate attention seekers so that would be a more apt comparison.

Seems like Gwyneth is more suited to be with a producer. Her father was one, and she adored her father. Maybe she can relate to that life more than that of a musician.
