I totally forgot that they’re making a sequel to the wildly successful Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. But they are. And Megan Fox is still in it. She got herself involved in yet another franchise, only this time she seems to be playing it a bit smarter – no explicit criticisms of the director or producers (Megan’s nemesis Michael Bay produces these TMNT films).

Anyway, these photos are notable because Megan Fox got herself a really cheap-looking blonde wig. I guess her character, April, is undercover for some reason? Maybe. Because in other set photos, Megan has her normal dark brown hair during some scenes. I think this is the first time we’ve really seen Megan play around with hair color in such a major way – she usually stays on the brunette scale, almost all the time. She doesn’t look flat-out terrible as a blonde, surprisingly. Sure, her coloring works better with dark hair, and the blonde ages her, but she doesn’t look BAD.

Meanwhile, in what is the weirdest casting news of the year… Laura Linney has joined the cast of TMNT 2. Poor Laura Linney. I hope she’s getting a really nice paycheck for this. The cast also includes Will Arnett (returning from the first film), Stephen Amell and… Tyler Perry. WTF?
