Angelina Jolie brought Pax & Knox to Shiloh’s LA soccer game: super cute?

wenn22492882

It must be Little League soccer season, because here are more photos of Angelina Jolie with some of her kids at another soccer game. Shiloh and possibly Zahara were playing with their soccer team on Saturday in LA, and Angelina brought out Knox and Pax to watch their sisters. Several things are amusing me about these photos. First of all, trust Angelina to basically wear a black suit to watch a kids’ soccer game on a weekend. I understand that she believes in staying out of the sun and covering up, but wearing a long-sleeved black suit to a soccer game is a little bit much. Second of all… Knox has the same haircut as Shiloh these days. Which is an adorable shaggy bob. And Knox is such a little strawberry-blonde!! Third of all, Pax’s hair is on point these days. That’s a great haircut!

Incidentally, we recently learned something new about the Jolie-Pitt household, courtesy of Rebel Wilson. Rebel was promoting Pitch Perfect 2 last week and Rebel told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strathan that she was recently at a table reading for a Sacha Baron Cohen film with Brad, and Brad mentioned that his family is sort of obsessed with Pitch Perfect. Rebel said: “I was sitting next to Brad Pitt and he’s like, ‘Uh, I’ve seen your movie like 20 times. My kids love it.’ And he said, ‘Angelina watches it as well.'” I’m guessing that Shiloh and Zahara probably like Pitch Perfect a lot and they make the whole family sit through repeated viewings.

I wonder if Angelina remembered to bring healthy snacks this time? Probably not. I bet she just bought ice cream and treats at the park again.

Cool to see it’s not just my nieces and my daughter who love to watch/yodel the Cups Song.

  2. MrsBPitt says:

I love that Knox has a blankey….my older son, had his blankey for years and years! Until it was in shreds…I saw pics Z there on another wedsite….I think Shiloh and Z play on the same team…

    • Loopy says:

I know blankeys are usually to soothe babies or toddlers to sleep, just stressing this is in my experience, why would a big child carry that to a soccer game.

      • Senaber says:

You’ve obviously never had a blanky. I don’t mean that in a rude way. If you havent had a comfort item it’s hard to understand I think.

      • MrsBPitt says:

Like I said, my son had his for a very long time…of course, after awhile, he only used it a night when he was sleeping, and didn’t carry it around everywhere with him. I thought, if it helps soothe him to sleep, I don’t care, if he is thirty and still wants his blankey…this world is stressful enough, and if you can find something to help you relax (that isn’t booze or drugs), I say, go for it!

      • polonoscopy says:

Who knows? I remember my baby brother used to bring his everywhere. Until he was like, 6, and it was in shreds. He just liked touching the soft material. I think it was a comfort thing.

      • Kitten says:

        Tell that to Linus.

      • paleokifaru says:

I didn’t look at other pics so I don’t know the seating but I just figured he had it either to sit on or if it was a bit chilly to cover benches or legs.

    • Brittney B says:

BABY BLANKET! I noticed that too. If you think it seems out-of-place at a soccer game, you’re probably right (maybe it’s being used as a picnic blanket?)… but it never occurred to me, because in my family the baby blanket evolves into a place to sit on the grass, a shawl to keep warm, a companion in the car, etc… long into adulthood, long past Pax’s age.

I’m 27 and I still sleep with my baby blanket every night… no shame whatsoever, either. In fact, my boyfriend says he knew I loved him when I left my blanket at his house on purpose. It proved I trusted him and would see him again soon (he left his watch the next time, the leaving-of-valuables became a tradition).

“Until it was in shreds” made me laugh, though… because that doesn’t necessarily put blankets out of commission. My older cousin (she’s 33 now) got the same blanket that I did as a baby, and hers is definitely in shreds (like a Kleenex that was used 100 times)… but she still sleeps with it every night and takes it on trips. Once a hotel maid accidentally gathered it with the sheets, and she made a seven-hour drive to retrieve it after frantic phone calls and searches. Okay, now my family just sounds strange.

/END rambling story. Too much coffee this morning!! Sorry.

      • Sabrine says:

When my son started Kindergarten, he was heartbroken to leave “Buddy” (his blanket) at home. I cut a square out of Buddy and he took it with him to school in his pocket. I know that must have given him a feeling of security and comfort those first days in a new environment.

      • jammypants says:

I’m late 20s and I have a teddy 😛 I’m fully functionaly adult and have a career, but I love the comfort of having a “buddy” who’s been there all along when I get home. I don’t take it with me everywhere though. I leave it on my bed, hug it sometimes, and sometimes use it as a pillow lol. My ex-bf used to hug it as well when he was over haha!

This doesn’t just have to be teddybears, but whatever comfort object you grew up with. This makes me laugh a lot http://www.gurl.com/2012/11/28/teddy-bear-snuggle-sleep-with-teddy-bears/#1

      • funcakes says:

That is so cute that you still carry your blanket. I was a tomboy and destroyed my comfort items. Now all I have left are my stupid Star wars cards.

    • Judyk says:

My daughter slept with her blankie even after she moved out at 18.

  3. blue marie says:

Ha, I used to make my family watch The Last Unicorn on repeat. I think my brother broke the tape eventually.

  4. Lilyvanilli says:

So nice to see Pax relaxed, his anxiety in the early years always seemed palpable.

  5. Sarah says:

Brad’s parents were there as well.
But I think the tabloids want to ignore that fact, like they do!

    • Catelina says:

What? It can’t be!! I thought they hated spending time with Angie and only tolerated her when Brad was there too! Haha it’s nice seeing Pax, he looks so big and handsome. Soccer season should be ending soon, my cousins in Cali are in a similar community league and this weekend was the last game. Knox is so adorable, I still think of him as such a baby, but he’s getting big too.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Yea, my dad has a travel soccer team w/my little sister, and this past weekend was their last game, beyond two games/tournaments they’re going to participate in, this summer…

  6. Div says:

Pax is so big now….Also, that’s interesting/odd that Brad Pitt was at a table read for a Sascha Baron Cohen film with Rebel Wilson of all things…that seems like an odd mix.

  7. Longhairdontcare says:

Pax is gorgeous! What a face

    • gw says:

Right? For some reason, I didn’t really expect Pax to develop that kind of facial bone structure. Great-looking kid.

  8. aims says:

I think it’s really cool that despite living all over the world that the kids still have a home base and are involved in normal kid activities. Also how many more dads are now wanting to attend games with the hope they’ll cross paths with Angelina? ? LOL

    • snowflake says:

or how many moms are attending hoping to see Brad? I would,, lol

    • Brittney B says:

      Not just dads!

I know more women than men who would go to bed with Angie in a heartbeat. Straight, gay, taken, single, doesn’t matter… she will always have that power, I think. Personally I’d just enjoy the chance to experience her beauty in person.

  9. Goats on the Roof says:

Beautiful family. I love how close they seem.

  10. swack says:

Sorry, but she is doing what everyday normal people do and I don’t get all the hoopla. Is it nice she does this, yes, but why all the praise every time Angie (or any other star for that matter) does what people do everyday. BTW, my grandson has the same blanket as Knox, calls it “coconuts” and is his favorite.

    • Sarah says:

You are on a celebrity gossip site, what exactly do you expect?
I do not see a whole lot of praise going on….

  11. Neelyo says:

I want a shot of her at the game standing with the rest of the parents wearing THAT HAT!!!

    • heidi77 says:

She wore that hat most of the season- look for pictures from March to May.

    • Belle says:

What is wrong with THAT HAT? Just a sun hat that I am sure other parents wear as well.

      • Neelyo says:

Nothing wrong with it, I just think her in all black topped off with that hat surrounded by the non-celeb parents would be a funny photo.

  12. lisa2 says:

Yeah that man walking next to Angie is Brad father.. Jane Pitt was there too. I laugh when they crop pictures not realizing that they have also gotten other people of importance. I saw the video of Brad at the airport. Jeremy Renner was right in front of him and the paps didn’t realize it. They were screaming for Brad. Jeremy seemed cool and said Hi to Brad and kept moving.
Angie wouldn’t be required to bring a snack. I think the kids are provided those because after every game we have seen pics they all have brown bags.
the kids have gotten so big. I laugh when I say that and others because it shows how little they are actually seen.

  13. Beep says:

Knox is adorable. He looks so much like Young Angelina. I see no Brad in that one.

Looks like Brad Pitt was traveling without his family like usual. I guess he needs breaks from his wife and kids. Angelina still looks stressed as hell , is she ever seen without a member of her family attached to her hip? Hmm.

I guess she really did give up acting because I’ve heard of nada when it comes to new projects… But her husband has like 10.

    • Belle says:

Brad was coming from France (Miraval) FYI. Where he goes to check up on their home & wine business every few months. He was gone less than a week based on sightings.

Angelina looks normal, not stressed at all. She was smiling & laughing in other pics.
And yes she is seen without her family sometimes, however is there something wrong with a mother being seen with her own children? Also, Angelina is hardly seen period. Weeks go by without pics of this family.

    • Catelina says:

I don’t really understand your mentality about Angie to be honest. Why would a fan of hers root for her to have a bad marriage? Root for some huge scandal to come out, which would devastate and humiliate Angie, and break up her family? because what, you think she can do better, based on the small glimpses of these people’s personality we see? That’s fine, but obviously she doesn’t think so, hasn’t for 10 years, and she has said many times that she is perfectly happy with her life and we have no legitimate reasons not to believe her, reasons that aren’t based on grasping at straws and wishful thinking. So why would you hope for all that to come crashing down if you like her so much? Nobody is forcing you to go see Brad’s movies if you think they suck, but actively hoping that something awful comes out about Angie’s personal life seems counterintuitive. And I would love for you to list these 10 projects Brad has, because actingwise, I can only think of the big short which is done filming now, by the sea which he did with Angie, and Robert Zemeckis movie which we don’t really know if that’s even happening. Everything else is just executive production stuff, which he can mostly do from home. Angie has by the sea with Brad of course, and Cleopatra, though who knows what is going on with that at this point. But please continue living in your fantasy bubble where Angie is miserable and Brad hates her and his kids.

    • Goats on the Roof says:

She’s starring in By the Sea later this year. I think she has scaled back on her acting in recent years to pursue other passions, which I think is great. I know she has won awards in the past, but acting was never her strongest suit, in my opinion. She really has so many other amazing things she could be (and is) doing.

      • Catelina says:

I feel kind of the opposite. I want to see her acting MORE. Not that she should only act and nothing else, I think she should do everything she loves, but I will miss her acting when she leaves it for real. I know she isn’t passionate about it anymore the way she is about directing and her family and her UNHCR work, but i love her presence onscreen. She doesn’t always pick great projects, but if she found the right script I honestly think she could win another Oscar, no problem.

    • BNA FN says:

@Beep, it’s been over ten years, give it a break. Brad is not going back to his old life. He’s content with his life, that’s what he says. Brad and Angelina are husband and wife, deal with it. I’m sure Brad and Angelina decided that he will work more and she will work less. Btw, how is JA and JT wedding coming long Beep?

    • jen2 says:

He as someone said, probably went back to France to complete the work he left undone to get back to his WIFE as soon as possible because she needed him by her side when she had the surgery. He always goes to France in the spring because he has a wine business, he is a award winning vintner and has a house to tend.

  14. Catelina says:

It was funny how the paps kind of just ignored Jeremy Renner at the airport completely and kept screaming for Brad. I remember when they did TAOJJBTCRF together. That was such an amazing movie. Casey Affleck really deserves more recognition. Btw, if people don’t know where he was, he flew back to NOLA briefly for a wrap party for the big short, which had a short filming schedule. Can’t wait to see that movie.

  15. Meggin says:

They are such a beautiful family, and she seems like an awesome mom.

  16. really says:

VERY adorable- so nice the grandparents could come, too. I like Angie’s hat & she is smart to wear it- at nearly 40, her skin looks amazing. Here she is wearing it at another of the girls’ games. https://s3.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/hxinfdGHL8db0v4foL1Wng–/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7cT04NTtzbT0xO3c9NjMw/http://l.yimg.com/os/publish-images/omg/2015-03-17/11f1bdb0-cce5-11e4-a297-9f88df12b8f4_Brad-Pitt-Angelina-Jolie-4.jpg

  17. Jaded says:

Pax is going to be so freaking handsome when he gets older.

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I think so too…he is honestly so cute! All their kids are…..and it’s so weird how big the twins got. I have a cousin who’s their age, and just as blonde and blue eyed…..he did the same thing. One day, he was a little baby/toddler…..and the next he was a “big boy”…..going to school, etc.

  18. Iheartgossip says:

Beautiful family. Angelina could cure cancer, solve climate change, end the Holy War in the middle east and people would still find a reason to hate her. Lots of hate inside of people just seething to come out. Sad. Sad. Sad.

  19. Naddie says:

I’m looking forward to see By the sea (if that’s the story I remember). I also love how humble her kids seem to be.

  20. Maybe Angie went somewhere before the game that required business attire, and didn’t have time to change into soccer casual. I would have loved to see pics of Brads folks at the game.
