Aw, what a cute name. Scooby.

  2. Mata says:

“Will a beagle puppy make you forget about Tom Brady’s deflated balls?” has got to be one of the best links titles ever.

    • Tulip says:

      +1000. Excellent wording Kaiser:)

    • Mrs. Wellen Melon says:

      Answer: yes. Beagles rule.

    • MD says:

I can’t believe some tabloids think he adopted that dog because he “hopes a puppy will distract you from Deflategate”. It’s disgusting.

      • FLORC says:

Had Deflate gate not happened would this puppy have been adopted? Would it be making the social media rounds of doing what puppies do best? Making those news casters, athletes, and actors found to have altered the truth for personal gain a little less terrible. It’s terrible, but it’s a page from every PR rehab handbook.

To the 1st question I posed. We might never know, but it is doing just that.

      • Cassie says:

Gisele has adopted a pitbull years ago and posts pictures of the dog almost every week. And you dont ser celebitchy care about this dog so I guess prejudice plays a part or this Beagle only matter because of the scandal.

  3. mimif says:

Giselle looks like a piece of fried chicken in that photo, but cute pup. Have fun house training a Beagle, Brady.

    • frisbeejada says:

And trying to teach him recall…that’s always worth watching, especially the bit where they will not, can’t, just won’t come back 🙂

      • mimif says:

They have places to go, people to see.

      • frisbeejada says:

And a better social life than me! (see what I did there?) methinks not the breed to have without a sense of humour. Gorgeous though.

      • Suzanne says:

Been there…done that. Every time I turn around…there is a Beagle missing or found. They constantly run away. I adopted a male Beagle when I moved back to PA…from the local shelter. I brought it home…gave it a bath…fed it and took it out on a leash. It slipped the collar at the back door and took off running. Never saw it again for seven days. It came home unbeknownst to me…until I pulled in the yard one evening and there he was…barely walking because his paws were so sore from running for a week. I named him Boomerang right then and there. Fitting name. He stayed another month or so and my grandkids accidentally let him out and he ran away…never to be seen again. I posted pictures and got calls on sightings…but every Beagle looks similar so I gave up looking. Hope he found another home. At least he’s out of the shelter.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Our beagle used to tunnel out of the yard and would run if people chased her, a fun game for her, but if we waved her leash in the air, she would come running back and excitedly wait while we put the leash on her and walked her home. She loved freedom but she loved going for walks with us more.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Scooby looks like he may be full grown already so possibly housebroken. I know the breed has a reputation but my mom house-broke our beagle in three days. The beagle later trained two other dogs because beagles are bossy like that.

@mimif, places to go, people to see, tunnels to dig, and bones to bury.

      Sense of humor definitely needed.

  4. trollontheloose says:

nah.. Brian Williams just did the same thing but still can’t overlook the lies.

  5. Syko says:

Nope. Not fond of beagles (having owned one that would NOT be potty trained EVER) and particularly not fond of Tom Brady.

  6. Nayru says:

I love Beagles, but no, not going to change how I think of Cheaty McCheating pants Brady.

  7. Dragonlady Sakura says:

Giselle had already deflated Bradys balls long before the SuperBowl scandal. A new puppy isn’t go to to Change anything.

  8. Audrey says:

Still have faith that Brady will win by suing the NFL. Team Brady.

    • FLORC says:

Win what? Too much is tarnished. And he can’t go back in time and erase the other cheating scandals. He’s talented and still made very poor choices at the very least. Nothing will erase that and his name will always be linked with it.
Not all P fans, but so many having just been to a Wedding in Bean Town where an amazing reception debate/smackdown happened.
To sum.. They support him because he’s part of the pats. But they aren’t blind and if he ever went elsewhere all fans would turn on him and those who claim his sainthood would be 1st to light the torches.

  9. Cassie says:

I’ve read somewhere that Gisele and Brady adopted an adult Beagle. If it’s truth, great. In a country where it’s common people throw away dogs when they reach adulthood, it’s nice to see a celebrity couple using this as a stunt plot.

    • Hautie says:

I know here in Texas, that there are beagle rescue’s that work hard to find them homes. I was wondering if this was one of those beagle’s, that are being adopted out of…. one of those horrible medical studies group. I saw a local news story about the medical test beagle’s, not too long ago.

    • Lilacflowers says:

I think their other dog was a rescue as well. And this beagle looks fully grown. A beagle puppy would fit in his hand.

  10. Jaded says:

Ruh-roh….they’ll need plenty of patience with Scooby. Beagles are like the Jim Carrey of the dog world. And no, I don’t think a cute puppy will take the tarnish off the flaccid ball debacle.

    • Sullivan says:

“Beagles are like the Jim Carrey of the dog world.” Jaded, that is spot-on.

    • FLORC says:

They’re so smart and clever. And they know they can play up the “i’m too cute to be sneaky”. They know… Love them though! Hounds with their cute hound speak and ways. My weakness.

  11. Tig says:

Team Beagle too! But be sure to put the food up😳- they eat EVERYTHING!

  12. RobN says:

Reminds me a lot of Brian Williams walking around NYC with the golden retriever puppy. Didn’t seem to have done much for him, either.

  13. mememe says:

    Scooba is beautiful!

  14. doofus says:

Well, Scooby was a Great Dane. SNOOPY was a beagle. So, no, this actually makes it worse.

How dare he mix up cartoon dogs! Philistine.

  15. LAK says:

That is a very cute dog.

  16. Lilacflowers says:

For those of you having difficult beagle training experiences, my mom is available for beagle house-breaking lessons. Three to five days.

  17. Trillian says:

People letting their dogs lick their faces really gross me out.

    • Pinetree13 says:

I agree and I have a dog! I do not let her lick me…she spends 1/4 of the day licking her butt hole. Yeah nooo not “kissing” me any time soon!

  18. greenmonster says:

RIP Anne Meara. How much I loved the episodes of Alf when she was introduced as Kate’s mother!

  19. qwerty says:

Depends if it’s bought or adopted.
