There were some requests for more Comic-Con coverage, specifically the X-Men: Apocalypse panel, and even more specifically, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. These days, you guys don’t seem especially interested in The Bender (although his girlfriend always gets some comments), so I was going to avoid him. But here you go: Fassbender, McAvoy and Ryan Reynolds (no one requested Ryan).
Ryan was there to promote Deadpool, his second chance at playing a superhero after the disaster that was The Green Lantern. During his discussion, Ryan threw a little shade at the Green Lantern, saying: “I’ve only done one full, proper—sorry, not proper, superhero movie.”
As for McBender/Fassvoy, they appeared on Conan during Comic-Con and they talked about their on-screen and off-screen love. They are perhaps at their most adorable when they are just being lovely blokes together.
Okay, I’ll say it – Fassy is back to looking really good these days. I like my Fassy looking scruffy and loaded, don’t ask me why. I don’t know why McAvoy isn’t really doing it for me though. I guess it’s the shaved head? That’s more CB’s thing, liking a shaved head on a man. McAvoy shaved his head to play Professor X months ago and I guess he’s keeping it for now.

I first saw him in The Last King of Scotland. Penelope is such an adorable movie.

James, always James. Except the shaved look isn’t flattering but still. I don’t get the Fassbender love. I get a slimy vibe from him, can’t really explain it. There’s nothing sweet or warm about him which is fine if you just want to hit it and quit it but … eh.
Can we talk about Dan Radcliffe’s furry face? It’s very yeti and not in a cute way. I love him though.

I used to really like Ryan Reynolds, but lately he is looking rather chisled. Can’t tell if it’s natural or if he’s had some light work done. He also looks pretty fake-tanned or else he’s wearing a pound of make up.

This will be the 3rd comic book adaptation for Ryan Reynolds and a 2nd reprising of the ‘deadpool’ character. His first comic book/reprised character was WOLVERINE:ORIGINS.
Channing tatum has been announced as ‘Gambit’ but Taylor Kirsh (sp?) was a very good ‘Gambit’. Channing Tatum will be all meathead/bulging muscles which isn’t Gambit.
