They totally botched the 1st Fifty Shades movie by NOT having Henry play Christian Grey, IMO. Um, does anyone else remember the description of Jack Hyde in the book? He wears his long hair in a ponytail(a la bookish/hanging out in coffee shops, etc) & was never once was described as hot, or even remotely somewhat close to it by Ana…why choose HIM for this role??

Lol, I hate to admit it but I totally loved the 1st book & I liked the movie. 1/2 way dug the 2nd book & was bored senseless by the 3rd. Currently reading Jenny Trout’s recaps of Grey b4 digging into that hopefully not a total f***up of a book…yet, get huge feeling someone, somewhere is trying desperately to edit these books after the fact with the films.
I tried reading Grey and gave up. Christian’s internal monologues and references to his reproductive member are even worse than Anastasia’s conversations with her Inner Goddess.
I liked the movie, too. I regret nothing.

WOW!! I hadn’t noticed. He must be smoker to be so young and have such yellow teeth.
Ten years ago, his teeth were beautifully perfect and bright, bright white. He’s definitely a smoker now, and it’s done a number on his teeth.
He’s holding a cigarette in this very picture. But I truly don’t see anything wrong with his teeth. Smoking is gross, but his teeth look fine too me. Natural teeth are not perfect and I don’t get the obsession with whitening. It has nothing to do with hygiene – people’s bones have different colors, so why make people with naturally yellow-ish teeth feel bad about themselves?
Agree with you about natural teeth. I think blindingly white teeth can look really fake and sometimes even scary.

It’s something I notice and wouldn’t usually give a 2nd thought to. I’m not expectting people to have pearly white. Just that yellow leads me to notice.
His teeth are brown which is not natural. Teeth turn that color do to coffee and tea, which stains your teeth. I don’t like bleach white teeth, but a little whitening won’t hurt.

I loved him in The Tudors. Great acting, so fricking handsome!!! He seems to have lost some of his charisma from that show, however.
I think he would have charisma if he wasn’t acting like a goody two shoes all the time to keep the Superman persona going all the time.
Yeah, he was great in The Tudors. Charles Brandon was my favorite character after Anne, and the only reason I kept on watching after she died.
