  1. Abbott says:

While I admire that they’re sticking by their friend, it also kind of reinforces that mean girl reputation.

    • mia girl says:

Ed Droste, you are SOOOO in the BURN BOOK!

      • Kitten says:

LOL. Sigh. Ed should have either given the full story of why he doesn’t like Swift or never said anything at all. I love Grizzly Bear but this makes him look kind of…desperate. He’s probably right but by being so vague, he loses credibility.

On another note, I’m suffering from serious Swift fatigue.

      • mia girl says:

Why you got to be SO MEAN Ed?
Why you got to be SO MEAN????
        …Signed, model BFF of TSwift.

Seriously though Kitten, I like Grizzly Bear as well. And while I agree with you… in the end I think this still does much more harm for Taylor than Ed. She must have made quite an impression when he first tweeted that “blind” in Feb and it was strong enough for him to jump into the fray on this go around.

      • Kitten says:

LOL @ Why you gotta be so mean?

“in the end I think this still does much more harm for Taylor than Ed”

True, but I don’t care about Taylor’s rep, but I care about Ed’s. Ed has never lowered himself to the degree that he would engage in Twitter feuds with pop starlets. I wish he had just never involved himself to begin with.

    • Katydid20 says:

It seems like a lot of work being her “friend.” I’m not sure I’d do it if I was famous, or halfway famous, or wanting to be famous.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Gotta delete pictures of you hanging out with her enemies, gotta respond back to folks on Twitter.

It is interesting that they chose to respond to the one guy they could discredit and not Katy or Camilla who both have more ‘proof’ in the public eye. Interesting.

  2. Don't kill me I'm French says:

Who does Trump love ? Honestly !? He is a troll or does he work for the Democrats ?

I am excited by Black Mass

Taylor Swift’s friends are as touchy as Swift. She is a mega superstar ! She has no need to be defended against an indie musician

    • Abbott says:

Considering how much grief Swift is getting online these days, for some reason this guy touched a nerve…

    • Elisa the I. says:

      …he evidently doesn’t love tits! 😛

    • Lynnie says:

I read somewhere that every election season there a few candidates who’ll treat the race as a money-making scheme. They get to keep all the money they fundraise as long as they lose or pull out. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump is just saying things so he can take the money and run

      • Elisa the I. says:

I read “troll the race”. 🙂
If that’s his hidden agenda, he is smarter than I gave him credit for.

      • Dr.Funkenstein says:

I think he’s a good deal smarter than most people realize, which isn’t surprising when you consider how successful he has been since he was a teenager. I think he’s punking the Republicans intentionally and has been for years. He’s just in it for the sport of it.

      • I Choose Me says:

I have a friend who has worked on several election campaigns and this is exactly what he told me. These candidates set up ‘businesses’ and get to keep the money/donations that roll in.

      • Red32 says:

Like The Producers? This is the political equivalent of Springtime for Hitler.

    • Norman Bates' Mother says:

You beat me to it! It would be much easier to list things Donald Trump doesn’t hate: himself, bad toupees, oompa-loompa spray tan and that’s all – super efficient. I doubt his own children and grandchildren would make the list. But people who run the Democrats’ campaign must absolutely adore him. All they have to do to discredit him is sit on their butts and wait – they get paid and he does all the work.

    • Kitten says:

      SO excited for Black Mass.

      • Me too Kitten. And I say this as someone who liked ALL of the Pirates movies. I can’t help it. My older sister got the movie when it came out for Christmas. Her present. After we watched it for the first time, it was MY movie. I watched that movie SO MUCH, it wasn’t even funny. And then I used to go up to my grandma’s and watch it in her kitchen……..

But I’m starting to LOVE the “old” gangster movies…….and it’ll be nice to see Johnny do some of his “proper” acting, lol.

      • Tulip says:

Totally! The makeup is a bit weird, but the movie still looks good. And it’ll be interesting to see what their take is on the facts in the case. Lastly, Depp can do justice to nasty characters when he wants to.

        Seeing it.

    • Crumpet says:

She was going to pump during a board meeting. Seriously, who does this?

      • jwoolman says:

No, she was a lawyer who wanted to take a break during a deposition so she could pump privately and The Donald went ballistic, turning red in the face, yelling at her, calling her “disgusting”, and then he stormed out of the room. Depositions can be rather lengthy and I assume she needed to pump to avoid pain at the very least. How is that any different from needing a bathroom break? The Donald is a very very strange man. I think Ivanna’s original story about him pulling out her hair and raping her is quite plausible. He just seems to lose it sometimes, way beyond his foolish statements.

      • Crumpet says:

That wasn’t the story I heard. Though your version sounds more plausible.

    • Lucky Charm says:

Trump definitely doesn’t work for the Democrats, lol! We don’t roll like that. 😊

  3. holly hobby says:

This is EXACTLY why there are whispers that Taylor is passive aggressive b—h. Sorry but I got her number a long time ago. Also, her singing voice is atrocious just like her song writing. Why is this little girl still a thing?

Eddie Ciberan – meet your future wife/atm.

  4. Marty says:

Like, how these girls trying to discount his experience with Swift? Were they there? Just because they believe that Sun shines outta her behind doesn’t mean something someone says to the contrary is “bulls**t”.

  5. aims says:

I hope they get that POS dentist. What an evil prick he is!! Disgusting.

  6. Know-it-all says:

She has found true love lol atm card more likely who can blame her she is envious of everywoman who beats her at getting the man aka Katie Perry n the rest she is envious of better talent and voice aka katie perry she needs this to exist leave this poor girl alone

  7. Know-it-all says:

Taylor Swift is just a lost bitter girl.

    • Mitchie says:

Taylor Swift is Pop Star Barbie. Now on sale at Walmart, purchase all her matching outfits, and rhinestone studded guitar. Plus, new on the markets is Pop Star Barbie’s new boyfriend…DJ Ken. Paparazzi sold separately!

  8. alek says:

I have a hard time believing they are all really friends.

    • Lynnie says:

I think there are one or two who really think they’re bffs with her. Are they in for a rude awakening

    • Amanda_M87 says:

I’d only be friends with Taylor to be able to go to parties and special events. I can’t imagine a real friendship with her. She just seems difficult/easily offended. I’m sure that’s the mentality that most for her so called friends have as well.

  9. blue marie says:

Yes they should extradite the dentist and he should pay for his crime but it’s about more than just him. There were 5 elephants killed in Kenya Monday night, all while in a national park. Yeah it’s easy to hang your hate on one man but there are so many more just like him out there..

    • Kitten says:

The entire trophy-hunting industry has to be snuffed out.

      • bluevelvet says:

        x 1,000,000,000 x infinity

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

        This. Done.

I’m so sick of the nonsense excuses I’ve heard listed for why it’s useful to allow hunting permits for people just wanting a lame story to tell their rich buddies.

    • Kiddo says:

blue marie, by foreigners of the country for trophies, again? I wish there really was some way to protect them. I love elephants, they are so smart and sensitive and LOVING.

      • blue marie says:

Poachers.. It was a mother elephant and her babies.. I don’t think I’ll ever understand killing for sport, tusks, or what ever excuse those people use.

      • Kiddo says:

This hurts my heart. For years, I have been giving to all types of animal conservation organizations, it feels like nothing will stop it. You get this sad sense of futility.

      • blue marie says:

There’s this video you need to see Kiddo. I don’t know how to post the link but it’s a baby elephant chasing birds, it brought such a smile to my face.

      • pinetree13 says:

Elephants are one of the few animals that mourn their dead. There’s been cases of elephants that survived their whole herds being murdered but they had so much depression and PTSD afterwards that they just withered away despite having no injuries. They are very emotional/intelligent beings. God how it hurts my heart when someone murders these gentle giants. I cry for humanity.

    • That was what my mom was saying…..how often does this happen? So why is THIS time special???

      • Kiddo says:

For whatever reason, isn’t there always some kind of tipping point where suddenly the public takes notice, or something becomes viral?

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Virgilia Coriolanus, who wrote: “That was what my mom was saying…..how often does this happen? So why is THIS time special???”

Did you ever see the animated film “Madagascar” about the four escaped animals from the Central Park Zoo? Remember how Alex the Lion was the star attraction at the Zoo and they offered a $1,000.000 reward for anyone with news about him (the other three animals didn’t matter)? Well, that’s what this particular lion, Cecil, was to the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. Here’s an excerpt from an Editorial in the July 31, 2015 edition of the New York Times titled “The Death of Cecil the Lion” by the NYTimes Editorial Board:

“On the face of it, the reasons are not hard to discern: In an era of dwindling wildlife, proliferation of threatened species and large-scale poaching of elephants and other beasts, big-game hunting in Africa does not hold the allure it may have had in Teddy Roosevelt’s day. And Cecil was no ordinary cat.

The 13-year-old lion was a star attraction at the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, out of which the hunters lured him with a carcass, and he wore a collar by which scientists at the University of Oxford had been tracking him since 2008. It was wrong and, according to the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, illegal to kill Cecil. Dr. Palmer, who reportedly paid more than $50,000 for the hunt, said he relied on local guides and did not know it was an illegal hunt. An official at the United States Fish and Wildlife Service said the agency is also investigating the case.”

Here’s a link to the entire Editorial piece:

  10. Alex says:

way to prove their point girls

  11. AtlLady says:

Regarding Tay-Tay’s circle of friends, I would imagine that is the most boring group of women ever assembled. Their conversations must be a real snooze-fest.

    • cheryl says:

I read “conversations” as “conventions” and had a laugh.
Actually, my 11 year old is just now catching on to the TS mean girl by song strategy. She was completely unaware bad blood was actually about somebody specific and she was totally appalled. After a few minutes, she gave TS some thinking out loud free advice. You should use your imagination and come up with songs that are about your imagination world but can have your emotion in them. You shouldn’t write about real people in your songs. Then she watched the video and concluded… mom, it’s REALLY mean and REALLY bad.

      • Amanda_M87 says:

        Good advice.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Simple and smart. But it works well for Taylor. She’s always the Angel and the broken-hearted one. Golden girl, American pie.

She’s riding high now but I do predict her own downfall coming, harder than this. This is just a small backlash leading up to the big shocker. It’s been a bit too much hypocrisy and playing the role of the victim for the media, it’s bound to come crashing down.

  12. Michelle says:

I was a Taylor apologist for a long time and thought she was cute and I liked that she had all these girlfriends, but I’ve totally turned and see her true colors. I find her behavior to be weird and childish. Having one of Katy Perry’s Superbowl sharks appear on stage for a split second while she sang “Bad Blood” was the final straw. She is childish and passive aggressive and she collects friends like trophies. Her incessant need to write songs airing all of her dirty laundry is just plain weird! Taylor has issues.

    • Zombie Shortcake says:

After reading a 2013 Vanity Fair article in which she described her then apartment decor as “Tim Burton–Alice in Wonderland–pirate ship–Peter Pan,” I couldn’t help but think of Michael Jackson. How many twenty-somethings want their first apartment to look Alice in Wonderland/Peter Pan?

    • Amy says:

Also the fact that she is NOT a 13 yr old makes this all even more bizarre! This is a grown woman. Listening to her songs and reading about her “encounters”, friends, fights, boyfriends, etc is straight out of Sweet Valley High!!!

  13. bluevelvet says:

Is it just me, W T H is up with that outfit on the gal far left??? That might be one of the most hideous things I’ve seen worn…

    • Kiddo says:

I think she’s ‘Saffron Spice’. At least that’s what I think is dangling off her costume. Or maybe she’s Legionnaire’s Spice (under a microscope). Then there’s Ruffle’s Potato Chip Spice, Artificially flavored Vanilla Spice and The Grape Kool Aid Spice Twins.

  14. Tiffany says:

To the couple with four kids who were standing in the middle of the restaurant and deciding what to order…..thank you for letting me go first.

  15. blingring says:

So Drake dropping diss tracks about Meek Mill and their whole feud is cool, but Swift needs to stop acting like a child and grow up? Probably add this as #235 on the list of double standards in the music industry.

    • mia girl says:

Who said their whole feud was cool? IMO these two “tough” guys dissing themselves through song with bad lyrics is incredibly LAME. It’s like watching a fight during a High School Musical Movie or something.

All of these people, Taylor, Drake, Meek, Taylor Model friends 1-8, Perry, Droste, etc. need to grow up.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

You don’t know much about hip hop do you?

Apples will never be oranges just because they’re the same fruit. Drake and Meek Mill are both rappers, you don’t have to like their diss tracks but they’re carrying on in a long tradition of challenging and publicly addressing opponents that are equal to you.

Taylor isn’t doing that. Taylor would be carrying on in the time-honored tradition of pop acts that have written songs about heartbreak and bad relationships except those acts had 1 or 2 songs about a truly significant relationship. Taylor’s discography is 98% relationships that were insignificant or childish from the start.

Listen to Eric Clapton’s ‘Layla’, Alannis Morisette’s ‘You Oughta Know’, or Joni Mitchell’s ‘You’re So Vain’ and then listen to Taylor’s dozens of break up songs and tell me you see anything close to the same depth. Those were songs written about relationships that really effected and touched the song-writer with emphasis on the song and not necessarily who it was about. Taylor makes every song about a specific person and makes sure everyone knows it. Kelly Clarkson has a dozen songs about love and heartbreak that came from her imagination and not her experiences.

      • Aren says:

I’m glad somebody else is saying this.
Taylor’s songs are made to hurt and damage the other person, they are calculated to exploit morbid curiosity.
She’s not an artist, she’s a professional bully.

      • jay says:

Good points; one caveat, though…it is Carly Simon who sang You’re So Vain.:-)

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Argh! How did I mess that up?!

        Thanks for the correction!

  16. Vampi says:

Not a defense of Taylor at all, but I REALLY hate when people…anyone…throws out some sorta kinda/non-info out there implying something, and then doesn’t say what or why.
I don’t get it. Honestly. So…you want people to believe you and many will…but really? Again….not about Taylor. This applies to ALL that Tweet and FB vague disses and then get all upset when people call them on it, and don’t appreciate their passive aggressiveness of it all. What’s the end game?. And that’s all it is to that person is a game if they don’t want to be specific. It just screams I WANT ATTENTION! It happens daily to famous and non-famous alike.
I was dissappointed in him though…I thought he was above this teenage mean girl tit for tat petty blind guessy stuff.
Oh well…Check another off the list. Damn.
    *sad*

  17. Anon says:

Taylor has done nothing the Ks haven’t done or Katy or several others.. Sounds normal for the Internet in general

    • Queenbee says:

I agree. And here I thought this was a site to chat with others and what made it original was less hate. So many other sites focus on the negative or are built on negative comments. But to me what has Taylor Swift really done to hurt the world? Wear fur? Kill a lion, leopard or rino? Use gallons or water a day? Excess hair extensions and eye lashes? Work the music industry to her favor……too bad men don’t get that rap

  18. JoanEleanor says:

As usual, just when I thought I was going to like Taylor Swift, she and her “gang” went on to blow things out of proportion… again *sigh*

  19. carol says:

I can’t stand that hair cut. It makes her look like a 40 year old pining for the 80s.

    • MMB says:

I agree! There’s something about her that brings to mind a bastard Morgan Fairchild. And not in a good way.

  20. Me too says:

Can miss priss not be friends with any regular people? Only models and ‘it’ people allowed in her crew. Fake fake fake. She is THE worst! Go away already. I will relish in her fall from grace.

  21. oop says:

Johnny Depp fans (myself included) are actually VERY excited about Black Mass.

  22. Veronica says:

Not understanding why Taylor’s friends defending her is that big of a deal to everyone. I mean, doesn’t that kind of happen in any friends group where a member is attacked? Beyond that – do you really want me to believe Droste jumped into that without any idea of what the response was going to be? I mean, kind of the definition of passive aggressive, isn’t it?

(Although, kind of clever as a business move, I guess? Just YouTubed his band, and I have to admit Grizzly Bear is pretty good. I kind of want to download the album and put it on a playlist with 1989 called “Battle of the Twits.”)

  23. LAK says:

    Of course she did…..

  24. Swofty says:

    THE hair tho, o m g, WHY?
With all her money and model friends, you think they would help her with her hair?
Are at least recommend a good hair salon.

    Good friends indeed😉😂😎

  25. Shoe_Lover says:

i wonder how many fans Johnny Depp will have soon. I know someone working on the crew of the new pirates film and to say that Johnny is deeply hated is an understatement. The words “arrogant diva” were used as were “piece of sh!t” and “unprofessional”. he has cost the studio a lot of money with his breaks but also the crew. every time Johnny shut production down he got paid while he was away but the crew didn’t and the crew pay their own rent so for many of them they were paying rent/mortgages on their homes in Sydney and Melbourne plus paying the rent on where they are staying during filming.
