Keanu Reeves celebrated his 51st birthday in Deauville: would you hit it?

wenn22835112

Keanu Reeves is a Virgo man, which means he’s loyal, calm, modest and humble. He just celebrated his 51st birthday on September 2nd. 51 YEARS OLD. And he still looks so beautiful. Keanu and Brad Pitt are the same age (off by about nine months). I think they’re both aging very well, but Brad looks “good for his age” and in certain lights, Brad can only really pass for a 40-something. Keanu can still pass for 30-something. Good genes or good living? I don’t even know. Maybe it’s because Keanu seems so self-contained, we never really know what bothers him or if he’s sad or stressed out.

Anyway, these are just some lovely photos of Keanu at the Deauville Film Festival from the past few days. First he did a photocall at the start of the festival, then he was honored at a special career tribute, then he promoted his new film, Knock Knock. He was lovely throughout, according to reports. He stopped to greet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos. He was grace incarnate.

We don’t talk about this enough, but Keanu can really wear a suit, right? And he looks great in a tux. Bless him.

Incidentally, Knock Knock looks like a terrible movie. Here’s the trailer.

    Yes! Many times!

    • aims says:

Yes me too!! He’s had a lot of sadness in his life. He’s a good guy, I want the best for him.

    • CG says:

+1. I have a good friend who’s Keanu’s cousin. I’ve been bugging him for years to get me the hookup but apparently they’re not close (only see each other at family reunions and stuff) so it’s never happened. I want my Keanu hookup, dammit! I’m seeing my friend at a wedding next weekend so maybe I’ll harass him about it again. 😛

    • NGBoston says:

^^^^ Affirmative! Neo still has it but I think he was the absolute HOTTEST in Speed. W/Sandra B. the first time. I thought they had great chemistry on and off screen.

    • Katie says:

He had most definitely improved with age. He seems deeper and more real than most of peers.

    • lunchcoma says:

Add another “Yes!” to the list. Keanu is smart, well-read, and known for being a kind, unpretentious person. I’d rather hang out with him than most celebrities.

    • (Original, not CDAN) Violet says:

Me, too! Except I love him best without the beard, all smooth-shaven like in The Matrix. Yummy.

    • Beansnrice says:

The man is a beautiful vampire.

    • LA Juice says:

      +2

  2. Jessica says:

Oh I love Keanu news. And yes — even though he’s about old enough to be my father. He looks awesome.

  3. Lilacflowers says:

    Hitting it now!

  4. Ben Dover says:

No. I’m still scarred from seeing him eat spaghetti with his hands.

    • VelvetPaw says:

      What?
      When was that?
      ….details please…:)

    • Mytbean says:

      🙂
People want him to be this refined bad ass like so many of his screen characters but I get the impression that he’s a goofy awkward dork at heart that feels lucky when people see him as suave. He’s a comic book nerd… A horny, flirtatious, mischievious, goober.

And I’d date him SO HARD. lol

  5. Freebunny says:

    Yes, always and forever.

  6. Esteph says:

Did anyone else see John Wick? I honestly was so impressed by his acting in that movie, I also feel that it didn’t get as much recognition it should have received.

    • Alice says:

Yes, and there are way too many of his movies/performances that are underrated.

    • AG-UK says:

Yes John Wick was great. I sat near some guy on his own who clapped all throughout. I thought the choreography of the fight scenes really good. Would I hit it??HELL YEAH. Love him he just seems like a really nice guy. There will be a John Wick 2 I heard.

    • Lilacflowers says:

      The dog!

    • evermore says:

My brother talked me into watching John Wick and I was glad I did, Keanu was great.

I once went to hear a LA casting agent discuss casting actors in films. She HATED Keanu Reeves, it seemed so personal with her, she said she hated being forced into casting him, because she hated his acting, but he was selected by studio people or producers involved in a project, who sang the praises of Keanu and loved him, he sold tickets and made money but….she could not stand Keanu, she just wrote him off as not worthy of reading for things…still she had to cast him for projects. The group of us listening to her discussion started disagreeing with her and some literally booed her when she said the things she said…about Keanu. She said I suppose this is why he sells tickets, people like him, but ended with he can’t act. She moved on to discussing another actor George Clooney, who she seemed to adore, but said his films didn’t do as well as Keanu Reeves movies, but this was just after Keanu’s big Sci fi hits.

I think Keanu is a good actor, he just has a way of phrasing or speaking in a certain pattern which makes some believe he can’t, but it’s sort of how Christopher Walker phrases or speaks in his own pattern, but it works for him.

I think I’ve loved him since the Paula Abdul video, was it Rush Rush?…. ..that’s a old school, old video.

      • karen2 says:

…I agree & disagree…even in the sublime John Wick his acting wasnt consistent scene to scene…still I fell in love…then I watched some of his back catalogue…ugh..terrible…apart from matrix…but it doesnt matter…hes a gorgeous star…long may he get projects…bit like Rogue Nation really where by far the weak links are TCs terrible acting…ps I’ve also Watched Birdman…some fine acting there…but really what was it all about…a bunch of actors acting about a bunch of actors..and steadicam…did my head in with all that small minded navel gazing…imo.

      • Betti says:

As much as i love him – i tend to agree with the casting agent, he’s passable only in certain movies or where there is a good script/director. And yes he should have worked more on his pronunciation as he’s been pigeoned holed as a ‘surfer dude action man’. Also working with Sandra Bullock seems to bring out the best in him.

Audiences overlook it as he’s such a likeable guy and thats why he sells tickets and studios keep hiring him.

      • DIANE says:

He was great in The Gift (2000) as the abusive husband.

      • cr says:

I don’t think he’s that great of an actor. But he’s usually got great screen presence, which helps overcome the lack of acting depth.
And I loved John Wick. Didn’t make a bit of sense, and I didn’t care.

      • M.A.F. says:

For him, and other actors/actresses as well, they fit well in a movie depending on the script and type of movie. Speed was good for him but Dracula? Not so much (but I place most of the blame on Coppola and the casting director).

      • Girl_ninja says:

I love George, but he doesn’t take chances in any of his films does he? He plays the “everyman” all the time. Can you picture George playing Keanu’s part in My Own Private Idaho? Or even in the movie the Gift. I think Keanu takes risks and I appreciate that.

      • notasugarhere says:

Have you tried Walk in the Clouds or The Replacements?

      • anotherrandom says:

Oh you brought back the memories with Rush, Rush! That was a good video, I remember it. And yes, he was hot there. He was riding the fame off a movie before then, wasn’t he?

    • MissMoody says:

I’m obsessed with that movie. When it premiered on HBO it started trending on Twitter and there were a few articles written about how John Wick is one of the few movies that was so good, it earned its sequel which really came about due to fan demand. So it’s now a cult film and not as underrated.

    • Miss M says:

Yes, I did and loved it! Go, Keanu!

    • lisa says:

i love that movie, i dont know anyone else in real life that saw it, so happy other people like it

      • Ysohawt1 says:

I really don’t think Clooney can act. IMO George Clooney always plays himself in whatever role he does, he has no layers, nothing changes in any of George’s performances, I don’t get why Hollywood gives him acting Oscars, IMO George can’t act, but he does kiss butt well, which is even what a casting director implied,, George can charm the clouds out of the sky when he wants a role. Lol

I think Keeanu Reeves looks better than most of the age50’s set of contemporary actors he came up with… better than George, better than Clooney, even better than Pitt on his puffy eye days. JMO.

    • siri says:

Then please prevent yourself from watching the Knock Knock trailer! Lousy acting. But he’s one of the Executive Pruducers, I truly wonder why?

  7. Alice says:

Yes, ma’am, you betcha I would. And it’s about time you had a Keanu thread.

  8. Anon33 says:

I had a thing for him as a young teen…think it might be coming back!! He looks so yummy here, I can barely handle it. *fans self*

  9. suze says:

Yep. I’d knock it down like a bowling pin.

  10. tracking says:

Yes, he’s a vampire. Clean living?

  11. Trinitay4u says:

Never stopped. My husband and him are kinda doppelgangers.

    So sexy and drama free.

    • LAK says:

      Drama free?????

Keanu’s life is a tragedy worthy of a shakespearean stage.

This (alledged) solitude is probably self rewarded for all that drama.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I see what both of you mean. He doesn’t create drama that puts him in the tabloids. He lives a quiet life and stays out of trouble. He’s got a very good off-screen reputation.

He always looks so sad in his pictures. I hope he’s found some peace from all the heartache he’s had in his life.

    • Elisha says:

Drama free? I’d say dating transgendered Jamie Clayton and refusing to go public with it because of fear over how his public would react is pretty dang drama-full.

  12. EEV says:

    ALL DAY EVERY DAY

  13. Freddy Spaghetti says:

I would but I wish Sandra Bullock would too. I’ve shipped them since Speed, which was about a thousand years ago.

  14. Betti says:

Over and over. Have always been a fan.

Why hasn’t life gifted him with lots of children – he would be a fabulous father!

    • evermore says:

Maybe he hasn’t fallen deeply in love since he lost his girlfriend years ago.

      Also not everyone wants kids….

    • VelvetPaw says:

      oh betti…..

    • Brittney B. says:

Betti, he had a stillborn daughter named Ava in 1999; her mother died a year later. I hope the best is yet to come for Keanu.

    • Mary-Alice says:

No, he wouldn’t be a good father. Funny how people are buying the tragic narrative though, carry on. Just a quick remark: Keanu knocked up a groupie with whom he never intended to have anything more than an accidental bang and he was dating a British reporter in Australia barely months after the “big tragedy” in his life. Think about it. Keanu is a cool guy but all this Shakespearean narrative is publicity not reality.

      • Sarah says:

        Oh dear….
What did someone to do you to make you like this?

      • Nanea says:

Have you ever seen Keanu interact with Isabelle Davis or Atlanta Taylor, Mary-Alice? Or with his other god-children? Or carrying around the Washington kids on the set of Much Ado About Nothing?

      • Elizabeth says:

While without knowing him personally one cannot say what sort of father Keanu would be- I do agree with Mary-Alice about the over sell of the tragic narrative. Keanu rarely talks about his personal life and the two key deaths always referred to – River and his daughter’s mother- both died as a result of drugs. And while deaths obviously are sad events, drug-related deaths are very common and accidents waiting to happen. History seems to be rewritten in the context of the ex-girlfriend, they had broken up much before her untimely death, so the ‘not getting over the gf’ part is an invention.
His still-born child is a tragedy one wouldn’t wish on their worst enemy but one has to believe that if he wanted to find a new partner and create a family (biological/adopted kids -he has the means) he would have done so. Given his close bonds with his sisters/mother, he would have been a good parent too if he wanted to.
By now it seems his PR just rinse-repeats the same tragic story narrative so that media does not ask him anything personal- which in the time of social media and over-sharing is awesome for a private man like Keanu.

And yes he looks very very good for his age! 🙂

      • Malificent says:

Even if his daughter’s mother was some random hook-up, and he was dating other people, I don’t know that you can make light on the loss of a child.

      • Alice says:

Ava was about two weeks short of being full term when she was stiilborn. That had to be difficult no matter the relationshp with Jennifer Syme. And, yes, I’ve heard the stories ranging from random groupie to actual girlfriend. How would any of us really know? Maybe the truth is somewhere between the two extremes.

      • Mary-Alice says:

@Sarah You are a class act, aren’t you?

@Nanea I’ve seen more of Keanu live than you can imagine. Don’t sell me the “fatherly figure”, won’t buy it. He’s cool and we love him here, our local star, but a father type he ain’t. The friendly uncle Gary type – yes.

The child is on its own a tragedy, of course. No one would argue with that, I believe. But the whole “love of his life lost” story is just not true and has never been. Please note that Keanu himself has never muttered the name of this girl. Never ever. Even less so in relation to any love/feelings/intentions. And there is no way one would date another person months after losing “the love of my life and our child”. Not only dating but being papped in a very happy state of mind and body, obviously. It just doesn’t happen. Facts are facts, the rest is the Dragon’s invention. Keanu played the game and it benefited him, nothing new in this field.

As about his close relationship to his mother… I look at all her children and their personal lives and wonder.

      • Girl_ninja says:

        Oh dear. Who hurt you?

      • Mary-Alice says:

Oh Sarah… you are so predictable.

      • Girl_ninja says:

What is your issue with him and seemingly his family? Bitterness will eat you up girl.

      • FLORC says:

There’s axe grinding going on here.
Keanu s low key. This we know. However he dealt with that we can’t know. What we hear is likely fabrication. I remember those stories. And they varied with no one able to nail down details past the facts. Keanu baby not to term. Anything more is the posters version of a story without solid facts.

      • Aren says:

Oh please, just because she says he’s not perfect doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with her life. Maybe she knows things we don’t know?
I love Keanu but I’m aware he’s human, anything is possible.

      • Elisha says:

I agree with both Mary Alice and Elizabeth. He was not with his baby’s mother when she died. The person he dating now, Jamie Clayton, he does not want to go public with for no other reason other than he’s afraid how the public will react. He’s just another actor with a vice grip on his image.

  15. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Nope. He has never done anything for me. Nothing against him, he looks great for 51, though y’all act like that’s a miracle, I know lots of 51 year old men who look great, but I’ve never found him masculine or sexy.

  16. Nik says:

I love that he wears those scruffy shoes and sexy suit. Hit it ride it all of it. Most underrated a lister there is. Mysterious and oh so sexy!

  17. Nev says:

    Hot. Damn. Daddy.

  18. grabbyhands says:

    Would I hit it?

Like the fist of an angry god.

  19. DesertReal says:

Yes! Ever since i was a teenager seeing the Matrix for the first time. Now that I’m 30 nothings changed. I’d tie up and hit that ish again and again….and again.

  20. frisbee says:

Comparisons are odious but I’m going to anyway ‘cos I’m in a bit of a mood. Compare and contrast to Johnny Depp on the other thread. Keanu is ageing so well, so gracefully, Depp is doing it so badly – maybe Keanu should make a call?

    • VelvetPaw says:

The older you get the more you get the face you deserve, something like that….i’ve never heard something bad about him, only that he is very well-mannered, polite, nice and humble, absolutely not famehungry, that’s very attractive.

      • frisbee says:

I’ve never heard anything bad about him – unique in the film industry really. Johnny Depp is starting to look embittered – like he knows he’s fouled it all up and it’s too late to do anything about it…

      • evermore says:

imo, Johnny Depp has not fouled up,at all, he’s getting Oscar praises already just from the Venice Festival.
He may very well win a Oscar for this role.

      • frisbeejada says:

@ evermore – that’s your opinion and given that all of your opinions about Mr Depp and his lovely wife are totally and completely positive I’m going to guess you are the PR plant – just here to ‘change the conversation’ just my opinion you understand 🙂

      • Kitten says:

I also was wondering about evermore being a PR plant.

That being said, I do think Depp is a genuinely nice guy. Despite the dog fiasco, he has a reputation for being incredibly kind and generous to friends and fans alike.

Ugh, now *I* sound like a PR plant!

Anyway, I love Keanu and I agree that he looks 100% better than Depp.

      • cr says:

evermore, you do remind me of the poster who almost always comments on AH/JD posts, usually under different names, but with the same style, and it’s always over the top positive. That’s great that you like them, but it gets a bit obvious.
And as for his reviews, that’s wonderful, it is, but it’s not his acting ability that’s being referred to here. It’s his personal behavior, particularly since it appears he’s gone back to engaging in not so healthy behavior.
As far as I know, KR hasn’t had that history of bad habits.

      • M.A.F. says:

Evermore- he won’t get the nomination. He is Brad Pitt in this case. The work he should have been nominated (and won for) has long since past. Depp at this point is merely a shadow of his former glory.

      • hermia says:

Gosh I made the same comment below before reading this. Great minds and all that 🙂

      • NUTBALLS says:

Keaton’s more likely to win the Oscar for Spotlight. They owe him one and he’s getting great reviews for his performance in a movie that will play well to academy voters.

    • VelvetPaw says:

      Yep

    • Alice says:

And it’s not just Johnny. Leo is 10+ years younger and look at him. What happened to those guys who were still fine just a few years ago?

      • VelvetPaw says:

You’re right about Leo, but i noticed it only very recent….
They always say that Woman don’t age well, but Men do, Wrong, there are Woman who indeed aging well, but most of them (esp. HW) ruin they faces with botox and whatnot, well Men do that too sometimes.

Maybe he is very Healthy and add good Genes (i hate the genetic excuse normally) 🙂

      • frisbeejada says:

Leo is starting to look like this guy

        https://fryingmineinbutter.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/a-f-for-fake.jpg?w=448&h=210

        – Orson Welles – a few more years should do it.

      • VelvetPaw says:

        😀
Maybe he is preparing for that role….? hehe

      • Crumpet says:

It’s the weight gain IMO. Stay lean and you show off your fabulous bone structure. Get pudgy (looking at you Johnny) and all you see is pudge and bags.

      • VelvetPaw says:

        Well that’s true.

I like that Keanu is lean, but not that unhealthy skinny like these british guys (don’t bother to know the names) who are hip at the moment.

      • Dee Kay says:

I feel like everyone just *pretends* that Leonardo di Caprio is still good-looking. HE IS NOT. He was a beautiful teenager/early twentysomething, but that was a loooonnnggg time ago. Look at his face and body today, people!!!!!! He is not Jack from Titanic!!!! He is a rich schlub who shtups models much hotter than he is, and hangs out with male actors much hotter than he is. He is the person who pays to be surrounded by the pretty. He is no longer one of the pretty.

      • Veronica says:

Drugs, alcohol, nicotine. I work in a hospital with a very large drug rehabilitation unit, and you would not believe how much damage that does to the body. We have thirty year olds who show up in our ER looking like they’re hitting fifty. With the amount of partying guys like Depp and Dicaprio do, I am completely not surprised it’s catching up to them quickly.

  21. Elisa the I. says:

More Keanu Reeves, please!!! He is perfect.

  22. Ivy Vine says:

    Yes

  23. Insomniac says:

He’s always looked young. When I was in my 20s, I told a friend I thought he was hot.

Friend: “What? That boy’s young enough to be your son!”

Me: “Uh, he’s OLDER than I am.”

    (I still talk to her.)

  24. Kath says:

Wow he looks good! Compare him to deep ( bless him I hope he’s ok) who’s only a year older and the difference is striking. No doubt depp is the better actor but keanu is hotter and carries himself with grace and dignity.

  25. Cara says:

He is hot and seems like a really decent person- in Hollywood, that’s about as tough to find as a leprechaun.

  26. Kym says:

Not only would I hit it, I’d f^ck it silly.

  27. Jayna says:

It’s amazing how long-time, once-married, George Clooney is gay according to many on here, but no one mentions the same about long-time bachelor, 51-year-old Keanu.

    • VelvetPaw says:

The Gay rumors are always a companion of HW Leading Men since ever.
And there was always mentioning about that, but well that’s his/their private business.

    • Alice says:

There have been gay rumors ever since he arrived in HW, why mention it here? I don’t care if he’s straight, gay, bi or into emus. As I (and most of us here) won’t ever know the flesh and blood KR, what does it matter to our fantasies?

    • Gatita says:

It’s long been rumored that he was David Geffen’s lover when he first made it in Hollywood and that’s why he was cast in so many projects. But that was a long time ago and he’s proven himself a bankable star.

      • notasugarhere says:

“I hear that I’m supposed to be married to Keanu Reeves,” Geffen told TIME in March (1995). “I’ve never met or laid eyes on [him].”

    • Lilacflowers says:

Uhm, maybe because his personal life, particularly his love life, have been marked with great tragedy?

    • Miss M says:

Jayna, I have always appreciated your insightful comments. But , in this case, I don’t think we can compare oil and water. Keanu truly lives a very private life and seems to have his ego in check unlike Clooney. I also don’t recall Keanu having a revolving door of girlfriends every 2 years like Clooney- a behavior that many have compared to Rock Hudson.
I don’t care about their sexual orientation, but I hold a soft spot for Keanu who have lost his daughter and then girlfriend in a span of 18 months. I wish we would not compare him with smarmy Clooney.

    • Girl_ninja says:

Haven’t there always been gay rumors about him? And pretty much all Hollywood leading men?

  28. Rae says:

    Yes, a thousand times over.

More Keanu is always welcome. Even though he is 20 years older than me, I so would.

  29. Jen43 says:

Of course. He’s a beautiful man.

  30. NUTBALLS says:

Since he’s my CB husband, EVERY.DAMN.DAY.

    We’re going on 26 years — me and K-Man.

  31. Eden75 says:

I would. But then, I kind of do. My hubby has a very Keanu look. So much so that when we travel, people turn and stare. When he puts sun glasses on, he’s a dead ringer for Keanu. I swear, I did not do that on purpose but I definitely ain’t complainin’!!

  32. j. eyre says:

Would I hit it? Like the pound sign on my phone when I can’t get the automated system to recognize my commands.

  33. Lama Bean says:

He’s beautiful. I never saw it before but age really looks good on him and he’s quite bangable. Only problem is that I’m not digging the shape of the beard. But then….in an ideal situation I would only feel it and not see it anyway….I’ll stop talking now.

  34. smcollins says:

    HELL YES!!

  35. funcakes says:

I would love to try that tantric sex sting is always promotioming
Me and Keanu in Hawaiian ville. I’d start off with us rubbing lemon and honey all over are bodies. Then Sensual lemon and laveder sented oils for Body messages. Then I would lead him to a huge sauna to relax our bodies even further. With The wate hot as we can stand it with gardenias floating around us.
And after some adivan and ambien, we would go in for making hot monkey love.

  36. Jen says:

ALL DAY, ALL NIGHT, EVERY DAMN DAY.

I just wish he’d stop with the odd facial hair. But I can deal.

  37. TOPgirl says:

    Man is he gorgeous!

  38. Zooyork says:

He was so hot in Speed!

  39. Mia says:

    Yes! Dear god YES!!!!

  40. TarheelPixie says:

Yes, oh yes. A million times, yes. He is so freakin hot, oh yes.

  41. MsSnickerpants says:

For well over half my life now I’d hit it. Since Bill and Ted days. But Johnny Utah bestills my heart.

    • misery chick says:

OH. MY. GOD. YAAAASSSSSS, Johnny Utah! Absolutely GORGEOUS, mystical, Hawaiian and all that ish. I remember
feeling faint and weak kneed (even though I was sitting down) merely looking at the nape..of…his…neck. SIGH.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Mmmm… Johnny Utah was K-man’s hottest incarnation, followed closely by Jack Traven.

  42. jferber says:

Hell to the yes times 1,000!

  43. Sumodo1 says:

Who says he can’t act? He was better than that Bill guy in “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.”

  44. Vanessa says:

I’m 31 and I’d definitely hit it! He looks so hot!!

  45. Bianca says:

I would totally hit it anytime and anyplace!!! He’s gorgeous and I love his personality.

  46. Isabelle says:

Kenau is my forever crush. Also, he may not be the best actor but his films are entertaining, watchable an often cult classics. we all love Kenau films right? Its a very rare person that refuses to watchs one of his films because he’s in it.

  47. hermia says:

He’s aged so much better than Johnny Depp. He looks fantastic and totally natural, while Depp looks like a bloated frog hooked on valium.
I most definitely would, but doesn’t he bat for the other side?

  48. Mary-Alice says:

Happen to see him quite regularly and it certainly changed my perception. God bless make up but without it…

    • karen2 says:

…did you see that photo of him at Cannes from a couple of years ago..basically he looked like an ordinary 50 year old& the media ridiculed him…to look like he does in the header photo he must purge…which is very sad really….

      • Mary-Alice says:

Well, I see him at least twice a year, so no surprise. he did lose much weight for John Wick which greatly improved the whole situation but otherwise it’s double chin (beard helps but I know it’s there cause I’ve seen it!), triple stomach, breast my size, and sagging hands. I love Keanu but to pretend he doesn’t age is ridiculous. Time goes for everyone and in my opinion his face is very very different from what it was only 10 years ago. Past 40 each year brings obvious changes. He doesn’t like to exercise when not working and regular drinking adds to the picture. P.S. Pff, photos from red carpets are as real as magazine covers. If you pile on yourself that amount of make up you will look flawless too! And even with all that, he has a number of really bad photos from this same red carpet.

    • Girl_ninja says:

So he wears make up all the time? When he’s at various airports, riding his bike? You are full of something girl.

    • VelvetPaw says:

Mary-Alice, was it you who saw him eating Spaghetti with his Fingers, or did i confuse you with somebody else, or maybe it was a joke….;)

I would love to hear more about this, i need a good laugh, nothing derisive….

      • Moi says:

These pictures make him more relatable in my opinion. He doesn’t hold extra weight well, not many people do. I sure don’t. Even better if he happens to be dorky. Otherwise, he’s just too damn beautiful and I personally would not be able to get comfortable around him if I ever met him in the flesh.

      • Elisha says:

That picture made me lol like crazy but still. I showed it to my husband and he asked “is that for a role? How is he skiny and fat at the same time? How old is he?” I told my husband 51 and he was like, “oh, I thought early 40s.” So there’s that–I guess he really is aging well!

  49. jammypants says:

He’d old enough to be my dad, but…I would. Repeatedly.

  50. BobaFelty says:

ALL. NIGHT. LONG. damn he’s fine.

  51. Ainda says:

    Oh YES Please! Mooooore Keanu!!
I once had a dream about him… I was knocked up with his baby and he was just lovely.
He was so so so extremely hot in Speed!
    He still is.
I wish he would date Sandra. They had so much chemistry on an off screen…
Her new boyfriend locks like a loser to me…

  52. Leah says:

What a handsome man he is!

  53. maria says:

    A-L-W-A-Y-S!

( really, every day, in every year, in every hour, the ONLY thing it could turn me off is the rumour that he apparently sometime” forgets” to shower, THAT would be a big humm…but if he does shower regularly, man, don’t ask again cause the answer is most likely yes, yes, yes)

  54. Jaygee says:

Would I hit it???? LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN.

  55. Girl_ninja says:

I mean he’s just so handsome. I appreciated him in his youth (namely as Jack Traven) but he didn’t really move me then.

Now here he is at 51 and I am moved! His face is fantastic and I even dig that patch beard he sports. I even marvel at his physical proportions! His torso and legs are perfectly portioned. There is no lanky extra long torso and short legs or vice versa.

He’s just lovely and I get it now…I get it.

  56. Tania says:

    I heart sad Keanu.

  57. Girl_ninja says:

@Mary-Alice What is your issue with him? Did he diss you or someone you love?

    • Mary-Alice says:

Don’t be ridiculous! I am happily married to someone I dare say looks much better and I wouldn’t go for someone who can be my father! In fact, I love Keanu as I already said but in difference from you, I don’t like some kind of ilusion. This is Cele-Bitchy though, in case you haven’t noticed. I work in this field and we are such gossipy mean people. LOL

      • Alice says:

Believe it or not, I’ve heard that HW is full of bitchy backstabbers. I guess that’s why Keanu, Ron Howard, Tom Hanks, et al are such standouts. They keep their mouths shut. And I don’t know anybody who’s believed in the false world of glamour since the ’50s.

      • MissMoody says:

You do you girl. This is the kind of dirt I thought we came to gossip sites to get! I love Keanu and think he is oh so fine but I work in the industry too and nothing is as it seems. Nothing and no one. Appreciate your insights!

      • Jayna says:

You’re right. There are photos of him with a lot of weight gain with double chins on his face and body and looks very different, out of shape like below in the photo. But the one thing I can tell is that he still has great skin and hair and if he works back out and drops weight, He is the type to look great for his age because of his skin an with a better haircut

      • Girl_ninja says:

No my dear. Your tone is a vicious one. The comment you made about his mother and his siblings personal lives? What the heck is that? I don’t know the man, so I can’t say one way or the other. I think he’s handsome, but I don’t know his heart or his mind or his struggles. He’s just a guy to me. You however seem to hate him.

      • Alice says:

        Thanks for your responses, girl_ninja.

  58. Susie 1of 3 says:

I bought the DVD Of “Something’s Gotta Give” to be able to watch his hot doctor performance with Diane Keaton. In case it went off Netflix. He was so charming! I thought he was a lot younger.

  59. Ally8 says:

Whoa*… he looks incredible for 51. He could pass for a man in his 30s.

    * see what I did there — birthday homage

  60. Reeely?? says:

Yes he’s improved with age, but I never felt his charisma.

  61. Margareth says:

I’ve never found him attractive. It’s something creepy and depressing about him, but I can’t put my finger on it.

  62. Sadie77az says:

Ever since “River’s Edge” – great little movie, by the way. I saw Dogstar play here once and while the band was only average watching Keanu play guitar was unforgettable.

  63. siri says:

I love Keanu, but I don’t really know why. I believe he’s smart, and most of the times scrubs up well for his rare public outings, because in between there are pictures of him that show a rather overweight, unwashed person. I also get the feeling he loves to party, and drink. In interviews, he’s rather flirty, and never really gives away too much of himself. He knows how to play this HW circus. He’s not a good actor, though. But he has some sort of old-fashioned charm about him, and seems to be a decent person. One of the few actors who are loved by men and women alike, probably also because he lacks the ostentation genes that a Clooney f.i. has in abundance.

  64. HoustonGrl says:

    Ooooo yea. I love virgos.

  65. SuperMoist says:

Hell yeah. That man is like bottle of fine wine that only gets better with age.

  66. Bread and Circuses says:

He always seemed like a genuinely kind, quiet man who consciously decided not to think of himself as better than others (remember the phone-video someone made of him just riding the subway like a normal person and even giving up his seat for a lady with packages?)

If he looks amazing for his age, I like to think it’s because the universe loves him for being a good man when he had the option of being a Hollywood frat monster. (Although he’s had tragedy in his life, so that’s definitely wishful thinking on my part. Still, I hope he’s enjoying a fulfilling, happy life now.)

  67. Maria A. says:

    Happy birthday, fellow wood dragon!
I would so love to hang out with Keanu and just talk about ANYTHING.

  68. Naddie says:

If I would hit it? ARE U KIDDING ME? I’d throw Brad Pitt, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman and all the ladies here at the train line for him.

  69. Alice says:

The DM has new pictures of him arriving at LAX Sunday, looking most excellent and definitely non-heinous.

  70. Madpoe says:

    Love Keanu News!
