To all of the true blue Blake Shelton fans out there, I’m sorry. I’m about to kill your dreams that Blake is just a good ‘ol boy with a heart of gold. According to In Touch Weekly, Blake has been celebrating his quickie divorce from Miranda Lambert by drowning himself in booze, groupies, strippers and more. To be fair, I think all of this went down over the course of one weekend, which happened to be his friend’s bachelor party. So… isn’t this what most single/divorced guys would do?
Blake Shelton indulged his every whim during a friend’s bachelor party weekend in Cancun, Mexico. In the new issue of In Touch magazine, a hotel guest who witnessed the debauchery reveals: “He was doing shots of tequila nonstop and partied with strippers all weekend.” Adding, “things got more and more wild each day he was there.”
One night, the country star and his pals went to a local strip club called Dassan. “They were in the mood to party, and they did,” the hotel guest says.
Later that night, Blake appeared at the hotel with two women. “He was taking turns kissing them while he walked through the lobby carrying two fresh bottles of tequila,” recalls the guest. “Then they went up to his suite, got into the hot tub on the balcony and did tequila shots. Blake was kissing both girls there before they went into the bedroom for the night.
Blake’s troubling behavior has only escalated since his split from Miranda. “She kept Blake grounded. She was his voice of reason. But now that he’s single,” a source tells In Touch, “he’s free-falling to a very bad place. Of course, he’s always liked to drink a lot, but now his alcohol consumption has skyrocketed.”
Blake’s friends, colleagues and handlers won’t give up on him — and have all urged him to seek help. “They want him to take some time out and spend it in rehab,” a second insider tells In Touch, “but Blake insists throwing himself into the new season of The Voice is the best distraction and all he needs.”
I go back and forth on Blake’s boozing. Some people say it’s all for show, like being half in the bag is part of his celebrity persona, and that’s how he gets people to underestimate him. Other people say no, Blake really is a boozehound and it’s a problem. I honestly don’t know. But I do think this story is right up there with the other terrible dude-cliches we’re seen over the past four months or so. We’ve been inundated with bored, rich dudes in the midst of some kind of viral mid-life crisis outbreak. What’s next for Blake? Will he buy a sports car and bang some nannies?

What I don’t get is this “guest” ( and from the story it sounds like only one person) is in Cancun and seems to only be interested in the actions of Blake. Was this person named Gladys Kravitz? ( Bewitched)
Well, if her husband would put down the damn newspaper and pay some attention to her already she wouldn’t have to look elsewhere for entertainment, now would she?

Last week i read he was hooking up with Gwen Stiffani. I never wanted panything to be less true. I’m looking at these pictures and he might be doing more that the booze.

He looks gross. Miranda should be thankful she got out of this marriage while she’s still young and at the top of her music career. Whatever sins she committed in her marriage to Blake, I doubt it is anywhere near as bad as what he’s been doing for all these years.

French tabloids don’t divulge such personal bedroom info because it’s not “tradition”. My hubby always finds it ridiculous when I share stories like this with him because it is considered their personal life, therefore no one’s business. By all means, don’t attack their reproductive character! However, it’s game for any other kind of info. It’s strange.

I *never* would have guessed I’d ever hear of anything sketchy about his behavior after that kind of first (and thankfully, last) meeting.
I’m not really shocked but I don’t think one weekend of debauchery equates to being a douche-bag. For what it’s worth, I don’t think he cheated on Miranda. She is rumored to be a psycho and seriously scary. He’s rumored to be a womanizer. They hooked up when he was married and she was all too willing to first be his mistress, then marry him after a PR-approved amount of time passed after his divorce. I take all stories about both of them with a grain of salt. Being boozy is part of her persona, but I’m confident he does actually drink alot. Miranda strikes me as needing alot of attention and getting it where she can if need be. They were never a good fit and the way they got together pretty much doomed them before they even got married. They are better off apart. The Gwen rumors are all hype for the coming season of The Voice. What consenting adults do behind closed doors is not a crime, but it does gross me out that any woman would stoop to threesomes with a drunk stranger for money or bragging rights. I guess now we sit back and wait for incriminating photos. Hope he wore a condom.
If he cheated on his first wife, why wouldn’t he have cheated on Miranda? There are so many stories about him, booze, inappropriate behavior toward women…and if this story is true, his standards are pretty low & loose. Which also makes condoms questionable.
There’s been rumors of his drinking for years, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it is a problem. Only the people around him really knows if it is, though.
As for the threesome, well…as long as everyone was of age and it was consensual, who cares?

As for the drinking, I buy it because he has really aged a LOT in the last 3 years – seriously, do a picture compare. But marriage problems will do that to you.
The drinking stories were around before Miranda. I live in Oklahoma and my employer has a ranch that buts property with his. There was noise once that my boss and him get together for some fishing, but my boss is a staunch non-drinker and had already heard that he was a wild man so it never happened.

Why is a divorced rich guy banging two women “troubling”? That is what you are supposed to do upon a divorce.
I think she really threw him off his game. I think he really loved her and wanted to change and then she needed ALL the attention and he had no time for that. So she went elsewhere. Chris Young, Eric Church, her damned manager…etc. So Blake has become this crazy single man again after so many years of marriage from his first to his second and Miranda got all the fame she needed from her famous husband and ready to move on. I know hooch is part of his schtick but I think this one has thrown him off and he has to be guided by his team,…..I hope….to sit back and be just home grown Blake again singing his country tunes. Women are always 3rd place.
