Oh, no. This is not good. Some “fans” stopped Courteney Cox to tell her how much they loved her on America’s Next Top Model. It’s official (according to Star Magazine at least): Courteney Cox is now being mistaken for Janice Dickinson.
It’s no secret that Courteney has been doing something to her face. She even admitted using Botox, although she claimed that she only used it once or twice. The photo evidence of the Janice-Courteney comparison is bit startling. Courteney has always been strikingly beautiful, but I can’t blame some ANTM fans for mistaking the two ladies. Star has more:
Courteney Cox normally wouldn’t mind getting confused with a former supermodel, but maybe not when it’s Janice Dickinson!
A source tells Star the 44-year-old actress was seeing red over a case of mistaken identity while filming her new series Cougar Town in Seal Beach, Calif.
“A group of teenagers approached Courteney between takes and asked her about America’s Next Top Model” says the source.
Janice, 54, used to appear on the show as a judge.
“She was pretty upset and coolly told the girls they had the wrong person!”
Courteney phoned her husband, David Arquette to ask him if she looked like Janice. She then turned to the crew for assurance that she was much prettier than the ex model. But the damage was done, says the source.
“After that, she could barely focus on her lines!”

I’d imagine it would be devastating to be compared to Janice Dickinson in any way, shape or form. But I do buy that some people probably did make an honest mistake. As far as Star’s reporting that Courteney was “upset” and that she called David to get some moral support, I’m not sure if I buy it. Courteney has always struck me as a fairly self-assured, self-confident woman who doesn’t need a lot of sycophants constantly telling her she’s beautiful. Of course, if that was the case, why the Botox?

I really hope she quits whatever it is she’s doing to her face – and she is doing something – she is (was) so naturally beautiful.
I’ve always thought Courtney Cox was one of the most beautiful people on t.v. I still think she looks great, but I know from experience that everyone looks at you differently, esp in that business, once you hit the big 4-0. I just hope she refrains from surgery the likes of Priscilla Presley.
Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. I’ve never found Courtney Cox to be beautiful, let alone strikingly beautiful. But that’s just me. Lol
Janice has lived a hard life of drugs and partying and it shows on her face. But back in her earlier years as a model, she was what I’d call “stikingly beautiful”.
Courtney has always reminded me of skeletor.
If Courtney gained 5-10 pounds, she’d look so much fresher and younger. She’s looked hard for years–including a lot of her run on “Friends.”
Do a search for Teresa May, British Model/adult magazine/video woman. More recent courtney pics have a striking resemblance to some of Teresa’s
Done up in “cougar” make up and clothes, I could see where they got confused.

Star isn’t the most reliable magazine though…haven’t bought it completely.
That’s got to hurt if for no other reason that Janice Dickinson has a number of years on Courtenay.

agree courtney needs to put on some weight. being so thin is not good for the face after a certain age. back in the day, though, janice was amazing looking.
priscilla presley had some faux Dr. use car silicone,or something like that…there were a few other big names this guy worked on,many years ago,and he was sued,etc. I think he was brasilian or??? can’t remember the details off-hand…but she actually looks like that b/c of this guy-he did serious damage.
After I read that,I felt a LITTLE bit better,knowing that wasn’t the look priscilla was going for…ha ha. still,she was getting surgery.
Cox should relax,stop obsessing,enjoy her life and family,eat some icecream,yes,gain a few lbs…and move on,already. she’d look younger if she weren’t trying to hard to look young.
I think she’s a natural beauty,as well,but in the last 2-3 yrs,has gotten that hardened ‘uh-oh,she’s getting injections’ look to her face. sigh.

Poor Star Magazine, it must have been another slow news day. I can see it now: Some graphic designer sitting at his desk was browsing through pics and noticed, accidentally, a frightening resemble between Courteney and Janice. He cracks a joke about it in the newsroom. The rest, as we say, is journalism of the highest degree.

Courteney’s beautiful but she has that horrible contemptuous SMIRK on camera all the time — the same purse-lipped smirk the Olsen pigs have, like they’re just so pissed off at having to smile for the little people all the time. It makes her look like a c#nt.
Courtney is a pretty lady but she has had too much botox lately. She’s starting to look plastic.
