The National Enquirer reports that Rosie O’Donnell is super jealous at her wife Kellie’s hot friend, Broadway star Julia Murney, and blew up at her in a rage over it. Rosie is said to be furious that Kellie kissed Julia, although Kellie denies that there’s any romance beyond a friendship.
Rosie O’Donnell exploded in a jealous rage at longtime lover Kellie Carpenter over her relationship with another woman, sources say.
The “other woman,” 40-year-old Broadway star and singer Julia Murney, has been a friend of both Rosie and Kelli for several years – but Rosie flipped out when it appeared that Kelli and Julia were developing a close bond. And though there’s no indication that there was anything romantic going on between Kelli and Julia, Rosie tore into her partner when she learned that the two women may have shared a friendly kiss, revealed a close source.
“Rosie is very protective of Kell and really freaked out when she heard about the lip lock,” the source told The Enquirer. “Rosie believed she was being betrayed, and it erupted into a nasty and bitter showdown with Kelli over her perceived cheating – even though Kelli told Rosie she and Julia were only friends and nothing more.

It sounds like Rosie is more upset at Kellie’s close relationship with Julia than she is at whatever kiss they shared. The National Enquirer also claims that rumors of an affair have dogged Kellie and Julia for over a year:
Julia has performed on the ship for Rosie’s cruises since they began, except for 2007, when her work in “Wicked” wouldn’t permit it.
Coincidentally, that was the only year Kelli has missed the cruise as well – and the absence of both women sent tongues wagging.
“After the seven-day excursion, there was talk around Broadway that Kelli and Julia’s relationship was picking up steam and that they ended up seeing each other that fall and into 2008,” said the source.

The Enquirer’s source goes on to say that there isn’t anything going on between Kelli and Julia despite what it may look like and that the cheating rumors aren’t true. Julia’s rep even says her client doesn’t play for that team. “While Julia is a popular performer with the gay community and has many gay friends, I want to stress… that she herself is in no way, shape or form a lesbian.” I’m surprised the dude didn’t add “not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
Rosie and Kelli have four kids together and you hope for the sake of their family that they’re not fighting and have worked out this minor spat. You can see Rosie blowing up and getting all in Kelli’s face about it, though. She really seems like she has a bad temper.

Knowing Rosie (and I do know her..worked for her for years)this is the latest in her yearly breakdowns. She is an unstable woman who has been in therapy 20+years and it still has not helped her overcome the loss of her mother. She needs a therapist to tell her to concentrate on the here and now and get over her past. She is not the only person that lost a parent at a young age, yet to hear her, she whines constantly about it. That is her “bond” with Madonna (who lost her mother at a young age also) and regardless of what you think of Madonna personally, she does not go around whining about losing her mother.
I feel compassionate for the four children that Rosie ‘parents’. They are living with a walking time bomb. She will never get over her ‘pity me’ stance in her life until the day she dies. NO amount of money or fame can make Rosie happy. She is unable to bring dignity to herself. She will never grow up nor mend fences with some of her family who she has denied her children the pleasure of knowing. I do not feel sorry for Rosie, she is an adult, however; I feel for her children, she is passing on her own psychosis onto them. If she and Kelly do break up, only Vivi will be able to go with Kelly, shame really, because Kelly is the stable one in the relationship and would raise Parker, Chelsea, Blake and Viv much better than Rosie ever can (and does).
Maybe no one know’s the real story- I attend the cruises, I know Kelli, Rosie and Julia and the way it goes in News is that………It’s just news – doesn’t mean it’s true—- Get a life people – read a book that will give life to your life — Not crap!

Rosie is super scary. I feel SOOOOO sorry for her “kids”. It is amazing she lasted that long in fame without much of a mental outburst. With the fact that she is mentally unstable, she will never have the life she wants.

If anything, I hope this crazy PR stunt someone has concocted brings more attention to the brilliant talent of Julia Murney. She is a phenomenal singer and actress. Just sayin’.

I remember Rosie way back from standup spotlight on vh1. Now all she is a bitter old dyke with a chip on her sholder. Kelli was after the money. She put in 12 years and comes out rich. That girl was poor when she met Roe and now leaves rich. She is trash.
I thought Kel had a trust fund, although it is probably not as much as Rosie. I think they are kaput after reading Rosie’s blog with the statement “we are a family”. It reads like a couple trying to make it work separately for the sake of the children. Rosie not traveling with Kel on the cruises etc. is telling. Is Kel going back to Nick, since she is taking Blake and Viv on their cruise?
