Um, did Gwen Stefani get a new publicist? Because BRUH!!!!!!! Gavin Rossdale is a nanny-banger, just like Ben Affleck. We actually heard this rumor long ago – there were rumors last year, I think, that Gavin was too close to an attractive young nanny. When Gwen and Gavin announced their split this summer, those nanny rumors resurfaced and I think many of us believe it could have happened. I mean, Gavin Rossdale is a lot like Ben Affleck, correct?
In the new issue of Us Weekly, insiders exclusively reveal that the music super couple’s 13-year marriage ended because of adultery: Rossdale’s three-year relationship with the family’s longtime nanny, Mindy Mann. (Stefani’s rep could not be reached, and Rossdale’s rep declined to comment.) Back in February, Stefani, 46, uncovered Rossdale’s long-term affair with Mann, who cared for the couple’s three sons, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months.
At the time, the No Doubt frontwoman discovered explicit texts between Rossdale and the nanny — including nude photos of Mann and their plans to meet up for sex — on the family’s iPad.
“The iPad was linked to Gavin’s phone,” a family source tells Us. “One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen.”
Mann was soon fired, but the Bush rocker, 50, insisted to Stefani that the exchange was simply “flirtation,” one source explains. When he finally confessed to the affair months later, the “Used to Love You” singer made the decision to end their marriage. The couple announced their plans to divorce in August. The admission “completely devastated her,” a source tells Us. “She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed.”
The sexual relationship lasted for more than three years — including the time period when Stefani was pregnant with Apollo.
“This was done right under Gwen’s nose,” a source tells Us.
Ouch. And again, BRUH. If true, Gavin is such a sketchy douchebag. Here’s the thing though: while I personally believe this story and I’ve been side-eyeing Gavin for a while, I also side-eye the timing of this Us Weekly cover story. Could it be that Gwen wants to throw it back in Gavin’s face? Is she pissed at Gavin for running to TMZ to say that he’s “suspicious” of the timing of her relationship with Blake Shelton?
Speaking of Blake and the Romance of Gwake, People Magazine has an “exclusive” about how they have so much in common. An insider (an NBC executive, most likely) tells People: “Those in their inner circles saw the chemistry and spark between them. That was undeniable. Gwen is a sweet, gentle person and Blake is too. They’re both down-to-earth and have light personalities. It makes sense.” Sure. I hope Gwen gets hers. I hope she rebounds and has a great time. And I really hope she doesn’t fall in love. I suspect that Gwen is a lot like Jennifer Lopez: stupid in love.
Gwen also Instagram’d this photo of herself, Blake and Pharrell. My mom watches The Voice and she always says that Pharrell and Gwen seem a lot closer than Gwen and Blake.

Ummm- bi or not I’m not sure how this story has anything to do with him being bi. The nanny rumors have been out there for a while (with pics too). Whether he also cheated with men??? The story is that he likely cheated with someone intimate to their family, inner workings of their life & took care of their kids. That’s a pretty big betrayal & for three years?! I don’t think him being bi has anything to do with this story & I side eye why someone would bring up that he had a relationship with a man while he was in his teens…..what’s the point?

Gavin was never a good bet for a husband. First there was the whole, “Of course I didn’t have a relationship with a guy when I was younger”, which a little while later became, “I was just experimenting.” Then the surprise that is Daisy Lowe. Then the continuing rumors that he is still involved with men. If I was Gwen I would have been a shell shocked wreck just waiting for the next bombshell. For me, ending things after all of that would be a relief.
I actually know two men who are bi who date exclusively women now. The vitriol that once a man experiments with men can never come back and is thus gay only is very old school thinking. If Gavin were Gwen, we wouldn’t be saying this stuff.
^ I used to work with a guy who dated men when he was younger (20s) but to quote him ‘it was a phase i grew out of’, he’s now a bit of misogynist who brags about all the women he sleeps with, most of which isn’t true. He tries very hard to push the image that he’s some sort of hetrosexual god to women, when in fact he’s a leech and woman run a mile. My very first impression of him was that he was gay – i think he’s one of those guys who came out the closet and then flung himself back in when he wasn’t getting the kind of attention he wanted (he’s a narcissist). My point is that a lot of men won’t admit they are bi – woman (in my experience) are different as they are more open about it.

Don’t get me wrong, this post isn’t about him being bi or experimenting. It’s about the fact that once they got married it seemed like there was a new bombshell every couple of years. From what I remember when it happened, it was the revelation that Daisy Lowe is his daughter that really upset Gwen.

I came here to say this. I don’t like commenting on these sorts of things but I caught a few minutes of the Voice last night and I was shocked! She can barely speak her face is so tight and her lips are so inflated, it looked physically difficult for her.

I agree Decorative, when we just accept that this is what we should all do it sends a scary message. This website regularly discusses the plastic surgery of celebs in a semi-respectful manner – as much as you can given the circumstances. But people’s surgeries are regular topics of discussion. It also celebrates the women who have decided to (apparently) age naturally. It’s an interesting and ongoing discussion that I think we will all need to continue to have now that all of our photos are blasted everywhere all the time.

I agree with everyone. I watched a few minutes of The Voice Monday evening and kept wondering why she looked nothing like “Gwen.” Even with her crazy face manipulation, I could still see a bit of the old Gwen. Then I realized she’s not wearing her signature bright lipstick. I’ve honestly never seen her in nude lipstick colors.
It’s been commented on before the marriage even broke up. But it makes you wonder if she was trying to maintain his interest by pursuing fillers, etc…Gwen’s never really hidden the fact that she has insecurities and it would be a shame if those insecurities led her to try and improve/change her looks in order to appeal to Gavin. Blake seems like a good-time guy–I hope it boosts her self-esteem and she has a good time. She’s really only been involved with 2 guys I think–her No Doubt bandmate and Gavin. That relationship basically took up her entire 20s and 30s. So this is probably the only time she’s just dated for fun–hopefully she gets it.
I’m kind of hoping she feels like it’s okay to put on a few pounds. I know she’s talked about her struggle to stay thin. I can only imagine how she feels if her husband slept with that Gwen from twenty years ago lookalike. She’s still prettier than a person who sleeps with the bosses husband.

I’m side-eyeing both of them for spilling their dirty laundry out in the tabloids considering they have two or three kids and I believe one of them is old enough to figure out what’s going on. Gwen definitely started it by trashing him, he retaliated by going to TMZ, and now this smdh. I do think both of them are running to the tabs too and that this isn’t made up. Gavin is probably a long term cheating douche and I wouldn’t be surprised if Gwen started banging Blake before the divorce ended, but both of them should keep the vitriol private for their kids. Messy, painful divorces can be awful but being so public about it makes it worse for the children…..That’s why I always respected Sandra Bullock for talking about what a douche Jesse James was just once and then not mentioning in public again because I think she was thinking about his kids.
I’m always torn about this. My dad cheated on my mom for years. She never told me, and when I found out, I felt so guilty because I’d always blamed her for their marriage being terrible and treated her poorly too. Plus it’s messed up that they tried to build a father-daughter relationship based on lies. And guess what kind of man my first serious boyfriend was? Yep, a charismatic cheater. It’s a tough call. Either way it shouldn’t play out in the tabloids, but I don’t think being honest with your children about why your marriage ended is necessarily a bad thing, especially if they’re of the age where they tend to blame themselves.

I probably wasn’t clear enough in my initial post. I DEFINITELY think being honest with the kids is a good idea. What I think is a bad idea is publicly trashing one’s ex more than once, especially when one is a public figure and has kids. I get telling family and bffs what goes down when a marriage collapses, what I don’t get is letting everyone know, even extended family and acquaintances, about every dirty detail….and the tabloids if you are famous.
To be honest, sometimes I get kind of uncomfortable with the “people must be classy in divorce” line because it seems to be more often applied to women then men, and it kind of subconsciously promotes this idea that the classy approach is…silence. Don’t get me wrong, my parents had an ugly divorce, and I’ve experienced the firsthand how upsetting it can be to witness, but now that I’m significantly older, I look back on my parents marriage…and I get why my mother was so angry and vicious at the end. I get why she went for the jugular after wasting so many years of her life on a man who wound up failing her as both a husband AND a father.
It’s easier to respect the “classy” approach, and there are certainly times when people cross the line too far, but I don’t think the anger that drives divorce exists in a vacuum. There’s a lot the rest of the world doesn’t see, all the tiny resentments, microaggressions, and infractions, big and small, that result in a failed marriage.
But in addition to the emotional component of a divorce there’s also the legal element. For extraordinarily wealthy celebs, this is not a small thing as we’re talking beaucoup $$$$ as well as the financial hit that they face from a destroyed public image. It’s not any less painful than it is for us “regular folks” but I do believe it is more complicated as the stakes are higher. With us, we’re dealing with the opinions and scrutiny of friends and family but for Gwen and Gavin, they’re dealing with the entire world’s perception of why their marriage failed.
I think it’s really tough for all involved. I’ve never been divorced and I’m a product of a lasting marriage but I have so much empathy for people who go through divorce, particularly when kids are involved. For that reason, I generally try to withhold judgment of how the involved parties handle things.

According to the DM (so take it or leave it), Gwen recognized the hiking picture as the nanny but Gavin convinced her nothing appropriate had happened, so they both agreed to put it out there that it was his sister to shut the story down.
It is not Gavin’s sister. Those lies were fed to us years ago by Gavin’s people. Look up his sisters on Wikipedia. They are older women, not twenty-something blondes.

When I saw that top picture inset of Gavin and the nanny, my first thought was ‘I wonder if that’s the same nanny he was seen hiking with that he claimed was his sister.’ How odd. At the time, it was shady bc there seemed to be no proof/definitive answer either way on who she really was and then it was swept under the rug like “Oh..well that must be his sister” and we never heard about it again. Some real sketchiness going on around all of it.
WCM – I saw it raised and questioned on the DM & other sites and people seemed to have bought the sister alibi hook line & sinker! Maybe I am naive, but how little self esteem would a woman have to waste THREE years of her life sleeping with a man who is her employer, and the father of two kids she is taking care of, through a pregnancy with a third child and then taking care of that baby once he is born? I could believe it with Affleck’s nanny – new in the job, fame hungry… but here? Being a mistress and spending the days wiping drool and bums off his kids for three years? Totally OT but has anyone seen all the nameless stories floating around about the supposed male Hollywood superstar with HIV? It’s on the Daily Mail today and was in Radar within the last couple of weeks. Every story posted about it has the comments section turned off so I can’t tell who people are guessing the supposed super star is. Why are all the comments sections closed? Is it a liability issue to have people guessing who it is?
If you google it you will see the consensus on who it is. And then you will say, “sadly, not at all surprising.” Think CBS comedy and winning.

Ah. When I first read that blind last night, I did not think of him because he’s been quiet lately and I had forgotten about him. But it makes a lot of sense and I’m not surprised. A few years ago, when he was going off the rails anew, I thought he looked sick. Plus he was publically giving away chunks of money to people and I idly wondered if he maybe knew he was dying and just wanted to give away his money before he went.
Not really surprised given his lifestyle but I don’t think he will go public with it – not that he has a career left to ruin and doesn’t he have money troubles as it is?

I think this is retaliation for his recent queef of an accusation about she and Blake, so she just decided to take his cheating azz down in one shot. I don’t think this would’ve come out if he had played nice like (maybe) they agreed…? Take several seats Gavin.
I believe this for two reasons.
1. US Weekly has been way more credible lately. They broke more stories/had more exclusives over the summer than PEOPLE did.
2. The deets on this are so specific, it sounds like an actual way of catching a cheater. dirty texts to ipad by accident, another nanny sees it, shows it to Gwen and BAM! yeah, I am buying it.
As if they both weren’t cheating. This is going to get ugly and there are children involved. Imagine if this is your neighbor, one works at the supermarket, the other for an airplane manufacturer and they carried on this way. Everyone would take steps back away from this ‘sick’ relationship and eventual fall out.
Team Kids. Both of them are horrible parents.

I like Gwen, always have. Gavin always seemed to be a DB. I hate seeing smear campaigns in the press in bitter divorces but Gavin seems to be flapping his yap, so maybe this is Gwen’s knee-jerk to a jerk reaction. The nanny was fired (allegedly) right before the divorce was filed. Perhaps she is looking for her 15 seconds of fame, like the Affleck nanny, and leaked this herself. The other nanny who supposedly reported the texts, etc. to Gwen could have also leaked the information. Who knows. There is that pic of Gavin going for a hike with the “nanny” and he is helping her by pushing her bum up the hill, both hands. If it’s his sister…yuk. If it’s the nanny…ick. As for Gwen and Blake, I think is two friends who are hanging out during a horrid time for them both. If they want to call it dating, have it. It’s good for the ratings. Don’t get me wrong Blake Shelton is no angel, but Miranda as a awful rep in the country music circles, what happened (again allegedly) with Eric Church and the Kacey Musgraves song snatch, she seems talented and bat sh*t crazy.
I doubt the nanny leaked it, because they are probably still seeing each other. Most nannies wouldn’t want their name drug in gossip columns anyway since they work in that community. It’s not like being a Vegas cocktail waitress cashing in on some fame and money.
I think it was a knee-jerk reaction on Gwen’s behalf because he is trying to paint himself in a better light by that TMZ thing. She thought, why cover for what he did since he’s now trying to make it seem like she caused the ending of their marriage.
What a dumb bunny Gavin is, trying to use the Blake Shelton thing to boost his image and give that info to TMZ, who are pretty legitimate, so I believe it came from him/his people.
Now this gets out, which Gwen hadn’t used before in their divorce. It makes him look like trash. She retaliated when he tried to make her look like the bad guy. And now, even if he cared for the or about the nanny, by his actions regarding TMZ, he has put her name out there for the world to know she was a backstabbing nanny who had worked for Gwen long-term, screwing the husband for years right under the wife’s nose..

This shows how old I am, but I remember when Gwen was desperate to get Gavin’s love. I heard it UK side first but I heard to US side too and the reality appeared to be that back then she would accept anything in him behavior wise as long as he agreed to marry her. We knew that he was bi way before he got married to Gwen and I am going to presume she knew it as well as all about his wandering eye. Either she believed marriage would change him-which is does some people who are totally invested-or she did not care as long as he was mainly hers.
People change and what was okay in your early 20’s is not so cool when you are older or have kids. So perhaps she grew some and he did not. She was a fool to be so in love with someone who was a known douche bag but Love is truly blind. Been there done that. I have much higher expectations-perhaps she has too.
what is going on with young women having affairs with their employers. Get some morals. I was a babysitter/nanny for many years in college with all kinds of dads. i cant even imagine doing this wtf
I’m not sure if it’s been covered above, but I live in Sydney, and this morning on the drive to work I was listening to one of our breakfast radio shows, and they were talking to one of Mindy’s best friends from home (she’s from Queensland, apparently), and she said that Mindy’s sister told her that Mindy got a call from the magazine saying that they were writing this story and they wanted a comment – to which she said no, because it wasn’t true, there was no affair, etc…and the magazine basically told her oh well, we’re running it anyway.
Not sure how whether this is true or not, but it’s interesting anyway!
Gwen an Pharrell have a long working relationship. They’ve done so much music together. It makes sense that she’d seem more comfortable around him. I don’t buy the romance with Blake. Isn’t he a cheater too? And Gwen is a fashionista weirdo. Blake is just a regular country dude with no style.
