  1. Locke Lamora says:

Who even cares. She’s beautiful, but overrated in every possible way. Bad singer with mediocre songs, horrible fashion sense and bad attitude,

  2. InvaderTak says:

That cover looks like she copied a FKA twigs picture.

    • nches says:

she kinda “channels” other artistes some times. It was Beyoncé, Fefe Dobson, Rita Ora (before Rita in turn started “chanelling” her). Her iD magazine spread was basically FKA Twigs

      • Hannah says:

As much as I love twigs it has to be said that twigs didn’t originate that look.

      • Naya says:

Dont forget a few years ago she was biting heavily and shamelessly from Kelis. She keeps getting cited as original and creative when anybody who pays attention can see there is no truth to that.

      • RK says:

Da Brat did it first and better.

      • Josefina says:

Yeah, Ri, like most pop stars, just borrows heavily from more undergrounds artists. I do think there’s a splash on originality in her, though. While she borrows heavily from other people, she still looks and sounds a little different from all the other big pop stars. That’s why I recognise a RiRi song when it’s on.

  3. Miss V says:

The single she dropped absolutely sucks. I’m a fan of hers, but her albums have been getting progressively worse. This new song blows.

    • Josefina says:

Agree on everything. I don’t get why she’s trying to fool us with all this hipstery serious artist crap. Ri, we know you’re not that deep girl. Go back to the upbeat dance music you’ve always done.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I used to really like her music, but recently it just hasn’t been as much fun.

    • blinditemreader says:

I came down here to write the same thing!

    • Mia V. says:

She created so much expectation around her like she is the best artist ever and the songs sucks. Learn with Adele, girl.

  4. Artemis says:

Work is so bad. She sounds drunk. If Ariana gets bashed because she doesn’t enunciate than Rihanna should get it too because she can’t even bother to sing the title of the song properly. It’s Work not Wo.
She’s overrated in every way except for her beauty and really that’s not something I look for in an artist (used loosely here for Rihanna).

    • Mieke says:

Every time someone visits lyrics.com and looks up her song, RiRi gets a dolla!

    • SamiHami says:

I really don’t think she is very pretty, either. Her “beauty” is the result of Photoshop and a good make up artist.

  5. Nancy says:

I’m not a member of the Navy but am a ride or die fan of RiRi. I haven’t heard her single but am anticipating a great album and she doesn’t usually disappoint me with her music, her choice of men, maybe, music….can’t wait.

  6. QQ says:

Meh! i’m feeling it and another bout for her and Drake…. that said someone else better keep that terrrrrrriiiibbllleee five four seconds trash ass song

    • Marny says:

I love FourFiveSeconds! It’s my favorite of her songs and I like this new one too. It’s interesting.

      • Nancy says:

Marny: It took me less than FourFive seconds to respond and agree with you. Just finished listening to Work, I like it! You know Drake is wherever his happy place is singing with her again. Their voices “work’ together and I love when they collaborate. Keep em coming…..

      • Jayna says:

        FourFiveSeconds was my summer bop.

  7. Ashley says:

I love her new single, work. Giving me that Caribbean bop,it’s already number one on iTunes. Congrats to her, can’t wait for the album.

  8. Mieke says:

Headers like these always make me wonder if they were too heavy to hold on to.

  9. lucy says:

Has this no-talent poser learned how to sing yet? Why does anyone pay attention to her?

  10. AlmondJoy says:

I was waiting for this! Not all that impressed though 🤔

  11. My Two Cents says:

I think she played the waiting game on this album too long and lots of people lost interest, including me. Don’t like that guy Travis Scott she is linked with either. He appears to be exact opposite of the type of man she said attracts her in her last big tell all interview. So, it was obviously nothing but false hype. Rihanna’s best music is behind her.

  12. Nev says:

Love the basement reggae feel of it. Go Anti Riri!!!

  13. Frank says:

    Love the reggae too

  14. Aren says:

Just came to say that her neck looks very, very strange in that water pic.

  15. laurie says:

Ohhhhh look at Carla’s Leo dog pics!! They are soooo cute!

  16. Hotpockets says:

am I hearing this correctly? The chorus goes..

“Work, wor work, worh…der der der der der.”

    For reals??

  17. Ankhel says:

Without comment on the current debate – Stacey Dash is Dionne, Cher’s best friend. Who is Gabrielle Union?

    • Kristen820 says:

Head Clover from “Bring It On” – LOVE that cheesy-ass movie!

    • Tiffany :) says:

She made the comment at Sundance…where she starred in Birth of a Nation, a film that just broke the record for largest amount of $$ spent on a film acquisition at Sundance. I’d say Gabrielle’s career is definitely on the upswing right now.

    • AlmondJoy says:

She also is the lead actress in the #1 show on BET since 2013. Being Mary Jane has actually been critically acclaimed. Gabrielle won for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special.

She’s not my favorite actress, but she’s is definitely very relevant and one of the few black women who are leads on tv shows.

  18. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

So looks like someone made a mistake on Tidal and released Rihanna’s album for free too early. Anyone managed to get a listen and see if it was worth the wait?

  19. Jayna says:

I find the song a huge disappointment.

  20. Sarah01 says:

Love the cover but her voice is not my thing. Looooooove reggae so I’ll listen to it. Damien Marley is brilliant.

  21. KLM says:

There are some reeaallyy good songs on the album. Kiss It Better is epic. Her vocals are nuts on Love On The Brain. Close To You had me tearing up. Fml I actually like this album a lot.

  22. I'm With The Band says:

Her voice grates on my ears. Listening to an entire album of hers would be a form of torture to me.

  23. Cynthia says:

I didn’t like the single at first but it has grown on me… it has that nice dancehall vibe.

  24. Tw says:

Rihanna is like Britney before her. A puppet. She sings whatever songs the entire team of writers and producers put in front of her. She wears what they tell her to wear for her image and dances how they tell her to dance.
