The Sun has got some crazy story about Madonna being reasonable. Even generous. While that’s not the actual subject of their story, it ought to be. Because it’s that unusual. According to the paper, she’s agreed to let sons Rocco and David spend the entire summer with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. Guy’s said to be understandably enthused, and not a little bit surprised, given their acrimonious history.
MADONNA and GUY RITCHIE have finally called a truce — with the Queen of Pop agreeing he can look after their children for three months. Guy is “over the moon” that Madge is handing over their son Rocco, eight, and adopted David Banda, four, during the summer as she embarks on a European tour.
The surprise news comes just weeks after Madonna won a court order to name the US as the boys’ permanent home — leaving Guy “gutted”. A close source said last night: “Guy absolutely dotes on his children and can’t wait to have them for a whole three months.
“He is surprised and pleased that Madonna is being so generous — as she has at times been impossible… Madonna will be travelling a lot and agreed it makes sense for them to stay with Guy rather than constantly be uprooted.”
RocknRolla director Guy, 40, is now making renovations to the Ashcombe mansion in Wiltshire the couple used to share, in time for Rocco and David’s arrival in June. He plans an outhouse with an indoor pool for the lads — an idea Madonna, 50, had vetoed. The friend said: “He’ll make it a summer they won’t forget.”
Guy wants to tear down Madge’s decorations at Ashcombe to remove traces of her and reinvent it as a family home.

Well good for them. I’d like to make a lot of bitchy digs at Madonna – because honestly I find it really hard not to – but I feel she needs to be heavily encouraged to behave like a decent human being, and we need to make a really big deal out of it when she does. Whoops.
But the boys need their dad just as much as they need their mom. And by most reports she doesn’t spend more than half an hour a day with them even when they’re all together. Guy, on the other hand, seems to do a better job of making his kids his first priority. It’s a little sad Lourdes won’t be going with her brothers, as from most reports she and Guy had a good relationship. And I’m a big believer that it’s important not to split up siblings. Luckily it’s not for that long, and hopefully this indicates the beginning of a new, more cordial custody-sharing relationship.

How is this nice of her? She doesn’t take care of them, anyway. This way they’re permanently off her radar for three months and she can flit around doing whatever she wants with Baby Jesus.

I really hope for Rocco and David’s sake that Queen Madge will eventually decide that spending time with their dad is about THE KIDS and not about her relinquishing control or whatever non sense she has in that muscled up noggin of hers.
Madge told Perez Hilton that this is not true, she wants to drag them all around the world with her.
Actually, Perez Hilton said he spoke with Madonna and this story is false and she’s taking the kids on tour with her this summer. So guess she’s still a b_tch.
Madge is a horrible excuse for a human being-i think octo-mom has more redeeming qualities-god that really hurt to say.
at least octo-mom is not dragging her children around the world and tearing them from their father and the only real home they’ve ever known.

Just because she’s on tour, doesn’t mean Madonna shouldn’t be allowed to see her kids. Guy and Madonna probably have some kind of custody arrangement. Also the reports that she only spends a half hour a day with kids is just from one person (chef?). The rest of the media just picked it up and reported it. The former nanny and Guy said Madonna is a good parent. If she was horrible wouldn’t Guy try for sole custody and have people back him up?
No he’s not. Madonna said yesterday the kids will be with her.
The freaky “it” lady just want to be in control. Children are the right accessory to soften her image. Poor boys and their dad is eager to have them. I feel bad for Guy and the boys. Self centered bitch.

What about Lourdes? What is their relationship? Even though she has a different dad, she lived with Ritchie for years. What’s going on there?
Also, if this isn’t true it’s a brilliant plant by Ritchie. Even if she didn’t intend to leave the kids with him, now she’ll be pressured to do so.
I feel bad for the kids. I believe Guy was a genuine father to Lourdes, and Madonna is not recognizing this. A parent is someone who raises you. Madonna does not seem to be raising any of them, and it is not right that her eldest daughter be separated from her brothers just because Guy didn’t supply her DNA. All three children should spend the summer together with Guy, and Madonna can just flit around with her boytoys and be on tour. This way, she could earn respect, by being classy.
Good for him if this is true : ) I am a firm believer that ALL children need their fathers (biological or not)! Somehow, though, I have a hard time believing that control freak Madonna is gonna let this one happen. She’d much rather the kids remain at home with their nannies while she’s out cavorting with her practically high school aged boyfriend just to prove she has all the power!
