I can’t hate. I saw about 20 people wearing those masks in Seattle….which, given the ratio to the entire population isn’t a lot, but 20 people is kind of shocking. Safeway is sold out of Purell too. God, I’m losing it.

Maybe it was just a way for him to hide his face??? I mean, I don’t see him being the panicky type, so perhaps he’s just taking advantage of the situation to avoid giving the paps good shots of his face.

And the news media would know- they’ve been the one’s over-blowing it !!
Less than 1000 cases world wide, less than 200 confirmed deaths- this isn’t the world ending super-virus, it’s not the black death of the 21st century.
But to be fair, the last pandemic killed 50-100million people. That was of course, the Avian strain of the virus. H5N1. And this is only H1N1.
I think the fear doesn’t come from the potential numbers but from the fact that it’s hit other parts of the world in a matter of days.
Either way, I still vote that nature will do as it must.
