Earlier this month, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry went on vacation with some friends. They ended up on a beach in Sardinia. While Katy and the friends kept their swimsuits on, Orlando decided to strip down completely and swing his junk around. We know this because the paparazzi were around – not just around, but close enough for Orlando to be aware of them. We can tell because the photos are high-quality and because, as I said, Orlando really was swinging his junk around. He knew the paps were there, so we can only assume that he wanted everyone to see. So what do you make of this? Before the photos were published, Orlando contacted his ex-wife Miranda Kerr to give her a heads-up, and Kerr says he was “really embarrassed.” O RLY?

Supermodel Miranda Kerr revealed that her ex-husband Orlando Bloom made sure to give her a heads up before those infamous penis pics of him paddleboarding in the buff with girlfriend Katy Perry surfaced on the Internet. Kerr shared that fun tidbit while on The Kyle and Jackie O radio show earlier today while talking about her role as a Bonds Swim ambassador. Kyle slyly made mention of Bloom’s unmentionables when he told Kerr, “I’ve noticed there’s a theme running here. I don’t know if you’ve seen the same photos, but even when people are paddle-boarding, people are supposed to be wearing pants of some description.”

The engaged beauty, who shares 5-year-old son Flynn with Bloom, agreed and laughed at Kyle’s comment before stating, “Yes, I’m going to send Orlando a pair of both because he, you know, might like either of those.”

When asked what her response to the naked photos of Orlando was, Miranda explained, “Oh my God, he texts me and was like ‘um, I’m really embarrassed, some photos are coming out, just thought I should let you know.’ And I was like, hmmm… right, what were you thinking? Seriously?!”

Yeah, the heads-up was nice (pun intended), and I understand how Orlando might want to play the incident like he was “embarrassed” and the whole thing was some misunderstanding. But is that how it really went down? Um. My interpretation is still the same – Orlando knew he was being photographed and decided to strip down and do some nude paddleboarding, much to Katy Perry’s chagrin, I might add. In fact, Katy was the one who was more embarrassed in that situation, not Orlando.
