If all of these media outlets weren’t telling me that Taylor Swift had changed up her hair, I wouldn’t have noticed the difference. Really look and tell me if you see a difference in her hair in these Instagrams. Like, I detect a trim, maybe. Maybe I’ve just become inured to it this year, because it does feel like Taylor has been changing up her look every few months. She went from Anna Wintour-esque banged bob to platinum rock n’ roll to overgrown-roots and then back to a more natural looking dirty blonde. She even brought back her curls for about a month. And now this! Apparently, Taylor went to celebrity hairstylist Gareth Bromell for her new look, and he had the honor of giving her layers. Really look at it though – he just trimmed her hair and styled it really well.
How did Tay-Tay debut her new style? She attended a MAJOR birthday party for Liberty Ross, organized by Liberty’s husband Jimmy Iovine, who is one of the biggest deals in the music industry. Thus, a ton of A-list music people came out for Liberty’s party, including: Taylor Swift, Mary J. Blige, Mick Jagger, James Corden, Haim and… dun dun dun, Gwyneth Paltrow. According to Us Weekly, Gwyneth and Tay-Tay had fun together.
Shimmy, shimmy, shake on the dance floor! Taylor Swift danced with Gwyneth Paltrow at Liberty Ross’ birthday party in L.A. on Saturday, September 24, and the gals looked like they were having a blast.
“Gwyneth Paltrow was dancing with Taylor Swift and hanging out with her a lot,” a source tells Us Weekly of the celebration held at Jimmy Iovine and Ross’ Malibu home. “They seemed like good friends. Taylor was in an amazing mood and very social.”
Swift, 26 — who got a new haircut and color from stylists Gareth Bromell and Tracey Cunningham on Saturday — also chatted with designer Tom Ford for a bit, though she spent much of the night in the photo booth, according to another source. “Taylor was also busting moves with Mary J. [Blige] on the dance floor for awhile.”
At first I thought Goop + Taylor sounded like a weird friendship but then I remembered that they’ve actually been friendly for years. Taylor even memorably had dinner with Gwyneth and Chris Martin in London back when Chris and Gwyneth were still together. I believe Chris and Taylor are quite friendly, and it does make some kind of sense that Gwyneth and Taylor would be friends on their own. Birds of a feather, etc.

If Jimmy Iovine, founder of Interscope records, record producer of everyone from John Lennon to Mary J Blige, co-founder of Beats, wants to throw a party for his new wife, all the players will come.
Liberty used to be married to that bum who humped Kristen Stewart in a car. She was famous for being the jilted wife.
It was Gwyneth who introduced Taylor and Jake G.! So they go way back

I don’t think I’ve liked any hair style she’s worn in the past 4 years. I liked how her natural long curly hair looked, and that’s it.
Why she always has her mouth opened like Leanne Rhymes (sp) is beyond me.
I always wonder about this when I see pictures of her too. I was going to say in another post that she can’t seem to take a picture without her mouth open, but that seemed mean. But I just said it anyway.

Agreed. The only way she can “style” her mouth is in the “generic pap smile grin”, “fierce side-angle shot with lipstick” and the “blow-up doll”. It still looks like she has at least 10 more teeth than the normal human should have. But, after all, why shouldn’t she have more teeth? She’s worth it!

Did she bring back her curls? All I saw was some dry ass waves.. Her actual curls are gorgeous and bouncy but her hair is so damaged they her curls couldn’t bounce for the life of them.

I actually really like her hair. The color finally fits her, the cut looks nice. I also love bangs and have them myself so I dig them.

I don’t understand why she doesn’t bring back her curls. She had such gorgeous hair. Her hair for the last 3 or 4 years has been way too old for her. Along with her terrible wardrobe, Taylor always looks so frumpy to me.
At lest her bangs are where they are supposed to be and it no longer looks like they cut too much hair for bangs and had to sweep it to the side to hide it.

She looks good I think. Although I am annoyed at her (and Tom) for destroying all lust I had for him I still have a soft spot for her.

Taylor’s hair doesn’t look any different. Maybe in a side by side but whatever she did isn’t significant. I think Taylor’s mouth is opened in some of the photos because she loves doing the fake “I’m so surprised” look.
