Donald Trump on his latest accuser: ‘Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before’

^^ That’s how big it is.

Over the weekend, we discussed one of the latest women to come forward and tell her story of being harassed and abused by Donald Trump. Her name is Jessica Drake and she’s a former porn actress. Drake met Trump at Lake Tahoe a decade ago, and she claims Trump invited her to his hotel room and repeatedly propositioned her for sex, even offering her thousands of dollars for one night. It was like the worst, most orange, bigly Indecent Proposal ever. Well, Donald Trump heard about Jessica Drake’s claims and he would like to remind everyone that he has absolutely THE WORST instincts when it comes to answering questions about his alleged sex crimes and improprieties.

Donald Trump on Monday addressed the latest accusations of inappropriate sexual contact made against him, saying of the accuser, an adult film performer, “Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before.” In an appearance on WGIR radio’s “New Hampshire Today,” Trump called the accusations against him “total fiction.”

“These are stories that are made up, these are total fiction. You’ll find out that, in the years to come, these women that stood up, it was all fiction,” he said. “They were made up. I don’t know these women, it’s not my thing to do what they say. You know I don’t do that. I don’t grab them, as they say, on the arm.”

“One said, ‘he grabbed me on the arm.’ And she’s a porn star. You know, this one that came out recently, ‘he grabbed me and he grabbed me on the arm.’ Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before,” Trump said. “It’s all lies, it’s all lies, it was made up. It’s like dripping water.”

Drake, who is being represented by attorney Gloria Allred, is one of several women who have accused Trump of unwanted sexual advances in recent weeks. Trump has denied all the allegations against him and CNN has not independently verified their claims. In the interview, Trump called Allred “a third rate lawyer” who supported Clinton.

[From CNN]

Even if you have reasonable doubts about some of the accusers’ stories, Trump’s reactions to the stories seem to cement the idea that he’s a rampant sexual harasser, a p-ssy-groping pervert and a long-time deviant. WHO SAYS THIS? “I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before.” In what world is that a reasonable response to a claim of sexual harassment/assault? “Well, she’s been harassed before, so it’s fine.” Or, “She’s been sexually assaulted once, so what does it hurt to assault her a second time?” WTF???

There are, of course, a million other Trump-related stories. He gave a lot of interviews over the weekend and pretty much all of the quotes are horrifying. For example, Trump thinks we should make some changes to the First Amendment so the press won’t feel they are “allowed to say whatever they want.” And like the word-salad idiot he is, after he basically said that he should be able to sue every newspaper out of existence, he said in the same interview that he is a “tremendous believer of the freedom of the press. Nobody believes it stronger than me.”

I loathe him with the intensity of a thousand suns. Why are we being punished with his existence?

    • Lolo86lf says:

I ask myself the same question. What did we all do in a previous life to deserve Donald Trump.

      • nicole says:

He really has to be the most repellent man ever, and to think there is still a very small chance he might become president is really despicable.

    • Meghan says:

It’s because I wasted my one wish for extreme violence to befall Ted Cruz instead of Trump. I’m sorry! I didn’t know or I wouldn’t have been so reckless and wasted it on Cruz.

    • LiterallyaShambles says:

And why are we being punished with that top photo? I can’t deal with Donald making hand gestures. Finger gestures are even worse. I might hurl.

    • Betsy says:

For we societally have been uninvolved in our political process. For we societally have let the perfect be the enemy of the good, we are being punished by the Fates. For we societally have opted to Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook rather than being of the world. For all of these sins we are being punished.

      • SMD says:

Yes Betsy, we have de-evolved to a level where only brief pictures and sound bites keep our attention. We don’t want to have to research, think, discover or challenge ourselves…I hope this isn’t our future very bad reality tv. Quick Light purple is the veranda open for the nasty ladies this am?

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

I shouldn’t complain about the toxic mold that is trump. I didn’t let the light shine on politics for years. That room was closed up, damp and rotting. It’s my fault for shopping and dating online when I should have been in the front lines to protect our nation’s education and freedom.

  2. Lorelai says:

I am embarrassed for my country that this man is going to be in our children’s history books 😒

    • BengalCat2000 says:

Hopefully he’ll be in them as a lesson learned. Maybe this whole mess will be a catalyst for change.

      • Esmom says:

We can only hope. I was depressed beyond belief after voting early yesterday. So many obvious Trump supporters who clearly had never voted before. The tension was thick and weird. It was the most uncomfortable voting experience I’ve had in my 30 years of voting. Sigh.

      • BengalCat2000 says:

@esmom, I know what you mean. I’m in a red state and this entire election cycle has been exhausting. My mom and I are voting for Hilary together and I can’t wait. At least I’ll get something positive out of this debacle. It’ll all be over soon…

    • Lena says:

How many not elected candidates are actually in children’s history books? I am not an American, so maybe there are some that are but it seems kind of unreasonable to include failed candidates. Of course if there will actually be riots after the election he might make it.

      • Esmom says:

A few, but you’re right, not too many. I do think this election has been extraordinary and unprecedented in many ways, so both winner and loser will be featured prominently when the history books are updated.

      • GreenBunny says:

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you a single non-elected candidate from history prior to when I became old enough to vote. I’m sure history remembers some that ran and lost only to run again and win, such as Lincoln (who ran 4 times before finally winning). Or a candidate that runs against a sitting president and wins (such as Clinton and Bush). And I’m sure there were some contentious elections that at the time seemed historical, but after time fades, those losing candidates fade too as more important things because historical. And if Trump somehow does last in the history books, whatever sad legacy he could have left will forever be tarnished and I hope he’ll just be known as a sad bigoted loser that lost by a historical landslide. That will be the worst punishment of all for Trump.

      • Scarlet Vixen says:

It depends on how far you go with US history classes. If you stop with a basic high school level US history class, you’ll learn about a handful–especially the first few, because at the beginning of our presidential process the ‘runner-up’ became the vice-president (they didn’t use running mates until the 12th Amendment). You’ll also learn about a few unsuccessful candidates because they were famous politicians/generals in their own right (Henry Clay, Winfield Scott, Stephen Douglas) and another handful because they ran unsuccessfully AND successfully (Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, Nixon, etc).

Oh, and just to add one more thing: Lincoln only ran for president twice–not four times. He did however run for quite a few smaller elections without success before he became president in 1860.

      • Annetommy says:

Losing candidates don’t get forgotten. I’m from the UK and without googling I can think of Barry Goldwater, George McGovern, Michael Dukakis, John Kerry, John McCain….Trump will linger like a bad smell. But let’s hope he doesn’t get the chance to make a bigger impact.

  3. lightpurple says:

Because if we’ve been grabbed once, it is open season on grabbing us?

I do not understand how whole states full of people are voting for this man.

    • Rachel says:

      Or this one:
“I don’t grab them, as they say, on the arm.”

*Obviously* she’s lying because she said she was grabbed on the arm, and he’s already said he grabs them by the pussy…

      • Otaku Fairy says:

Yeah. He really isn’t making himself look any less guilty. (And I have no trouble believing he’s been sexually harassing and assaulting for years).

    • doofus says:

a lot of the GOP seem to not understand the idea of CONSENT.

look no further than their standard bearer of all things conservative, Rush Limbaugh.

(I believe his rant on consent was covered here previously.)

      • lightpurple says:

Yes, it was. Consent apparently is over-rated. And LImbaugh wonders why he has so few women listeners.

    • Who ARE These People? says:

Oh so coincidentally they’re whole states that have much more widespread controls placed on women’s bodies.

    • Flan says:

Too many men (and some dumb, brainwashed women), who love to control women’s bodies.

You might have thought there was equality, but we should always remain vigilant, because there are still too many who think that gender-equality is oppressing men.

  4. Megan says:

I can’t wait for this to be over. I am tired of his disgusting remarks.

    • nicole says:

I cant wait either, I am starting to get fed up listening to CNN now, I just want to tune into election night and hope Hillary wins really big so Trump can fade into oblivion where he belongs.

  5. embertine says:

Thanks for the tacit admission, douchebag. He’s really not that bright, is he?

  6. Lolo86lf says:

The more he speaks the deeper he sinks into the mud. Porn actors have the right not to be sexually harassed just like anyone else. They have the right to refuse sexual advances. What part of no didn’t he understand? Why didn’t he just desist from pursuing her if she had already turned him down?

  7. ReineDidon says:

During the debates I can see how he’s been coached by professionals to act and answer more “properly” and has been taught about some issues in order to give a minimum of an answer. But then the debates are over he doesn’t stick by the coaching and the real Trump takes over. And it’s terrifying.

    • KWM says:

I noticed at the last debate he would open his mouth to say something and someone was clearly giving him signals to not do it. You could tell he made eye contact with whoever was his handler for the debate and he would stop in mid mouth open. But good ole Donald just could not help himself he just had to say somethings.

  8. Fran says:

It always looks like he stuffs his neck fat down into his collar. Like he has a really big gullet but tucks it in.

    • Neelyo says:

That would explain why his head always looks like it’s going to explode. He’s probably not getting enough air through his windpipe.

    • GreenBunny says:

During the second debate, my husband looked up from what he was doing and blurted out “his neck looks like a vagina”. Ever since that, I can’t unsee it.

  9. frisbee says:

Which actually sounds like he expects her to be grateful for the attention? This man has got his s*it twisted so bad….

  10. Snowflake says:

Thanks for the link yesterday about Donald’s campaign staff going to the strip club the night before the debate. Typical Republican hypocrisy just like everything else. Talk about bill and his affairs and then when Donald’s come up, oh they’re attacking him. How can you be so two faced? At least the Democrat party is real. I hope other people see the disparity between the “moral” Republican party and their insistence on praising Donald.

  11. trollontheloose says:

I am so beyond mad. This is not the country I immigrated to. This is not the country state that brought me here decades ago. I am so mad that this cockroach is allowed to run for president. And I am so mad that some acquaintances (not friends) might vote for him because they don’t want to vote for Clinton. if only they have done 1/10 of her work they might have been allowed to judge. No candidates will come to the podium pristine, everyone has something they would want to hide or change, erase from Google etc.. people change opinions, directions etc.. But yes, here we are, with a Clockwork orange cuckoo that may or may not lose and if he loses it be the beginning of his new Empire a la Murdoch. He will be front and center in every tv shows, meetings, etc.. he is gonna want to see and be seen. and the media will absolutely give in

  12. bread says:

This is the textbook definition of rape culture. And I’m speechless that a candidate for a major party in a civilized country would openly talk like that.

    • Esmom says:

Yes, he’s despicable. And yet his supporters and defenders, in their blind devotion to trashing Hillary, don’t care a bit.

    • Betsy says:

There’s an anonymous discussion board I’m on a lot and I’ve noticed a troubling trend among the commenting Republicans there: literally the only sexual assaults they are concerned about are perpetrated by Muslims, black people or other non-white people – they just don’t register that rape, sexual assault, everything on that continuum is committed by people from everywhere.

      • Otaku Fairy says:

I’ve seen that before in different places too. With those types, it’s always a lot more about justifying their prejudices against people of color, Muslims, gays, transgender people, or whoever else they consider ‘other’ and ‘sinful’ than anything else. Donald Trump is an example of that hypocrisy himself- making that comment about ‘Mexicans’ being rapists after the things he’s done.

  13. Jag says:

He actually told the truth for once because he doesn’t grab them on the arm. Ugh!

  14. Darkladi says:

    Dear Lucifer,

Your orange pig-demon is out of control. Please come get him. Bring the muzzle.

  15. Rapunzel says:

I can’t wait till Trump loses, and says he’s never ran for President. Just watch… It’ll happen.

    • lightpurple says:

I can’t wait until the election night stories come out. Romney was so convinced he would win that he scheduled to launch fireworks (unannounced) over Boston neighborhoods that hadn’t voted for him even when he won governor, and had not planned for a transportation home. He thought the Secret Service would take him. The Secret Service ends its protection the moment a candidate concedes defeat. Mittens and Ann had to ask people to take them home.

      Now,imagine Trump when that happens

      • Kitten says:

But Romney at least had the self-awareness to recognize that he was beaten whereas Trump clings to his delusions like a life raft.

I can’t imagine what will happen when he loses.

      • SusanneToo says:

        Perfection!!!

      • lightpurple says:

@Kitten, could you imagine the chaos that would have ensued had he launched those unannounced fireworks over the harbor with the echos extending throughout Chelsea, Everett, Winthrop, Malden, and Somerville (we do hear harbor fireworks in Malden, can’t see them but can hear them)?

I still laugh everytime I think of Ann Romney realizing she didn’t have a ride home. The thought of Melania in that situation cracks me up.

      • nicole says:

Unless Hillary has a real blowout on election night, he is going to cause a lot of trouble, he isnt going to walk away too quickly, he wants to stay in the spotlight for as long as he can, because thats what he loves more than anything, being the centre of attention whether its good or bad.

      • Betsy says:

@Kitten, yeah, but remember how long it took him to concede that night?

    • Otaku Fairy says:

I can’t wait to rub this election in.

  16. JLSJLS says:

How come there are no articles on any of the wikileaks? Let’s show both sides.

    • K2 says:

Probably because Wikileaks are one sided and being leaked by a guy who is claiming sanctuary so he doesn’t have to face his plural rape charges? No wonder he’s a fan of Trump. They have so very much in common.

      • OriginallyBlue says:

I believe some of the documents have been proven to be fabricated. Julian Assange has a huge hate boner for Hilary, so it’s not like it’s an impartial source releasing information about everyone.

  17. Katenotkatie says:

Here he’s drawing on the assumption that sex workers are somehow exempt from giving and withholding consent, therefore their bodies are subject to any and all violence visited upon them by predators like him. If they’re already whores, then they deserve what they get, right?

It’s beyond sickening. Mostly because he’s voicing what so many believe and act on- he just happens to be on the biggest stage, with the most people watching.

  18. AppleAnna says:

That man is a pest. A friend of mine has the surname Trump (not related to this pig) and he now has problems in many aspects of his life because people think he is related to Donald Trump.

  19. K2 says:

NOBODY BELIEVES IN FREEDOM OF THE PRESS MORE THAN ME but let me repeal the 1st Amendment.

NOBODY RESPECTS WOMEN MORE THAN ME but this one’s nasty, that one’s too ugly to assault and the one who isn’t can’t complain because she’s just a whore anyway so will get grabbed and should deal.

I’M NOT RACIST but all these areas where there are lots of non-white people, who don’t vote for me, need to be harassed at the polls because they’re all just electoral fraudsters anyway.

I TOTALLY RESPECT THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS but if I lose, it’s bogus and we need a revolution.

How the hell are we in a universe where he is a candidate for POTUS? He’s like a comedy baddie from central casting. For South Park: the movie.

    • lucy says:

      Exactly!

(Appreciating the wry dry humor in your bleak but true statements calling out Don’T’s hypocrisy (among his other vile characteristics.)

  20. Browniecakes says:

Charlie Sheen would have made a perfect VP choice for Trump.

  21. holly hobby says:

On the other hand, the biggest First Amendment attorney is offering his services for free to those who are sued by Trump for talking:

    http://lawnewz.com/politics/prominent-first-amendment-attorneys-offer-to-defend-trump-accusers-for-free/

I say go and do it Orangino. There’s a lot of first rate attys who would beat you down in court.

  22. Alix says:

So, which is it, Drumpf? “Like she’s never been grabbed BEFORE” implies that YOUR grab was merely the latest in a long line of unwanted assaults. But if it’s “all lies” and “made up”, presumably you’re claiming that you DIDN’T grab her. Which is it?

    • jwoolman says:

Well, Donald has a short attention span. He forgot that he was denying that he did it. That statement certainly sounds like he’s admitting he did do it, but it doesn’t matter because, I dunno, porn? He’s such a sleaze.

  23. KiddVicious says:

I just mailed in my ballot, I’ve done my part in getting rid of him.

  24. boredblond says:

I wonder where he draws his line..would it be any actress who did nude scenes? Any model who did girl on girl nude shots? This is just more of his warped reasoning to justify his behavior. Vote early everyone!

  25. lucy says:

AS THOUGH BEING GRABBED WERE A GOOD THING?!!!!????!?!! *&^%^%$#@!

  26. Anastasia says:

God. I just want November 8 to get here. I want him to get PUMMELED so badly, so completely, that the results break records. I want it to be a HISTORICAL defeat. I’m hoping if it’s THAT bad, he’ll actually slink off for a while. I’m under no disillusion that he’ll disappear forever, we couldn’t be that lucky. But maybe if his defeat is sound enough, he’ll hide away for a while.

  27. Anastasia says:

Oh and I voted today. Early voting in Texas started yesterday. I walked out smiling.

  28. Andrea says:

Did anyone watch her HBO show with her husband? She appeared to be a really put together woman who gave a lot of money to charities.

As for Trump, I’d like to know what he has to do for people to not vote for him at this point. His first racist rant months ago was enough for me. It is a sad day for America that there are so many Americans that simply do not care what a terrible person Trump is.
