Ivanka Trump’s deplorable label is selling really well online, shock of shocks

President Trump Arrives In West Palm Beach With Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe For Weekend At Mar-a-Lago

This is why I felt a general sense of ambivalence towards the #GrabYourWallet movement: because if we celebrate consumer power for successfully boycotting retail outlets – many of which dumped Ivanka Trump’s brand – then we also have to concern ourselves when Ivanka’s brand actually sells well. It’s like we’re setting ourselves up for failure. So, yeah, the #GrabYourWallet campaign was successful up to a point. The campaign got Ivanka’s label pulled from department stores like Nordstom, Belk, Neiman Marcus and Sears. Ivanka’s label was literally dumped by hundreds of stores over the course of about four months. But Ivanka’s stuff was still being sold online. And that’s where the Deplorables live.

Ivanka Trump stepped down from her eponymous brand as her father moved into the Oval Office, but sales of the first daughter’s apparel, accessories and fragrance brand still took a hit from a social media-spurred shopping boycott in January. But, there are two ways to vote with your wallet.

Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway got caught up in an ethics controversy for urging Americans to “go buy Ivanka’s stuff” during an interview on Fox News in early February saying “you can find it online.” It turns out, shoppers did. Sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise dropped 26 percent online in January compared to January 2016, but the trend reversed in February. According to Slice Intelligence, online sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise swelled 207 percent in February from the prior month.

According to an analysis of email receipts by Slice Intelligence from a panel of 4.4 million online shoppers, online sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise in February surged on Amazon, pushing the website from being the fourth largest seller of the brand to the first, replacing Nordstrom, which previously held that spot. Sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise surged 332 percent on Amazon in January and February 2017 compared to the same two months in 2016. Amazon-owned Zappos is the fourth largest online seller of Ivanka Trump merchandise, and in the first two months of 2017, it saw sales grow 18.4 percent compared to the same time period last year.

Macy’s sells the second most Ivanka Trump merchandise online by revenue, and Slice Intelligence said the department store’s online Ivanka Trump sales grew 148 percent in January and February 2017 over the same two months in 2016. Sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise on the Bloomingdale’s website, which is owned by Macy’s, increased 29.5 percent, Slice said.

Abigail Klem, who is running the Ivanka Trump label now that its founder has stepped aside, told website Refinery29 that the brand has recorded “some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand” since the beginning of last month. CNBC reached out, but was told Klem was unavailable for comment.

Experts estimate the Ivanka Trump brand pulls in around $100 million in revenue annually across all its retail and distribution channels. G-III Apparel Group has a license agreement with the brand to design and source the goods, which are sold at more than 20 retail stores and websites.

[From CNBC]

We should have known this would happen as soon as we heard that Ivanka’s white-supremacist-scented perfume was selling out on Amazon. This means that the Deplorables – spurred on by Emperor Baby Fists’ tweets and Kellyanne Conway’s lack of ethics – are trying to send some kind of message by buying Ivanka’s stuff. Poor, maligned Ivanka is being bullied by department store elites, they say. Buying Ivanka’s stuff = freedom, bigly eagles, and making America great again. To that I say: F-ck Your Shoes.

Jokes on them – they now own a bunch of mediocre at best products.

    • It'sJustBlanche says:

I know! It’s absolute crap. I was walking past a display in Bloomindales this weekend (yes, it’s still in the store here in Atlanta) and I thought to myself “Who makes this sh*tty fabric” and it was her brand. An entire section of it. Maybe they think southern women will buy anything if it’s pink?

      • Va Va Kaboom says:

It doesn’t even have to be a nice shade of pink, two words… Lily Pulitzer.

    • AreYouForReal? says:

I don’t think this is the deplorables’ doing. This sounds like a Breitbart/Bannon move. When Black Lives Matters came out, he created a “Black Crimes” column on the webpage. Now that people are supporting immigrants, Breitbart has pages and pages dedicated to crimes committed by immigrant around the globe. Breitbart/Bannon/the Trumps have a huge budget, they can buy up enough Ivanka stuff to make it look like the boycott isn’t working. They play a long game, so we must, too.

ETA Now it’s time to boycott/write Amazon.

  2. Lightpurple says:

Ivanka the Corrupt did NOT “step down” from her businesses. She is on a leave of absence, nothing more. News outlets claiming that she stepped down are misleading the public. There is a huge difference between a leave of absence and stepping down from a company.

    • Nicole says:

It’s the same as trump saying he divested himself of his business (he didn’t he’s profiting off the office) or Eric Trump saying he apparently doesn’t talk to his dad at all (yea right I don’t believe that for a minute).

Fact is those who voted for him sold our highest office down the river to a business man with zero morals or values beyond lining his own pocket

      • NotSoSocialButterfy says:

So much this!!! It drives me mad that those who voted for him based on his business acumen could think for one hot minute that he has anyone else’s interest in mind (other than his own). Fools, one and all.

      • Lightpurple says:

@Notsosocialbutterfly that they believe he has business acumen is truly mind boggling

      • Original T.C. says:

Yeah it’s suspicious that it’s the on-line stuff that’s selling well. It either is Trump inc. buying up the stuff like Right Wing people do to show high sales or it’s people who live far from any big cities buying online to show support.

      • swak says:

Any time he has a meeting outside the White House, it is always at one of his restaurants or hotels or Mar a Lago, etc. He is definitely profitting off the office even if he doesn’t talk to Eric (there is also the other son that he could be talking to or to the wives!)

  3. Megan says:

If deplorables want to spend their money on crap made in China so these grifters get richer, so be it. The joke is on them.

    • Eric says:

Megan. Totally agree. It will especially note-worthy for the deplorables to spend all that cash on junkie Ivanka gear just to have no cash for the replacement of the ACA, which will lead many of them to an early grave.

Don’t forget Deplorables, Ivanka is Complicit. New perfume available at SNL only.

    • Christin says:

Apparently a too-long tie with tape is the epitome of style.

    • AnnaKist says:

That’s what I came on to say, Megan. Also, I don’t believe the quoted sales figures are sustainable. I can see why there was a massive surge in online sales after the brick-and-mortar stores dumped her products. This was the trumpeters way of supporting their golden girl and reversing the downturn in trade after all the dumpings, and showing HRC supporters their strength in numbers. Those high sales figures won’t last. No business can continue or improve after dropping 26% and then swelling by 207% in one month. I think there’ll now be a downturn because even her(their supporters can’t and won’t keep buying in such volume

    • Sarah says:

It is money they should be saving to pay for their new, very expensive, totally useless Trumpcare!!

    • JohnWayneLives says:

It won’t last long. I think enough of them bought a little to make a statement. But I doubt her brand will hold their loyalty in actual future purchases.

  4. OSTONE says:

The lengths people will go to defend the indefensible. I read on another thread that people who didn’t have much were buying her stuff to “defend” Ivanka. As if she needed the money! Not surprised their supporters are trotting her label, as they are cheap and not well made, just like them!

    • Lightpurple says:

It is truly puzzling. Her twitter is full of people thanking her for the great sacrifice she and her kids are making for this country and how much they love her and how much we all owe her as she posts pictures of herself stealing from taxpayers.

      • Nancy says:

The SNL skit with Scar Jo as Ivanka pimping her cologne: she’s beautiful, she’s powerful, she’s complicit….as Ivanka looks in mirror and there is a reflection of daddy. She’s as shady and evil as the men. Annoys me to no end, all of these false people.

  5. Tate says:

Yes, deplorables, waste your money on crappy products to support the poor, picked on billionaire princess.

  6. Kasia says:

Do people in the U.S. actually LIKE the idea of living in complete and total poverty while the richest among you make billions a year and pay no taxes? Because that’s where things are headed.

Is it some weird extension of the Fifty Shades of Grey trend except for instead of sexual humiliation/ punishment through whips and chains it’s a fetish for knowing that Ivanka’s dog eats better than they do? This many people cannot be that stupid. God, I hope they’re not that stupid….

    • Tate says:

I have no idea what to say about my country at this point. A large portion prefers paying the taxes for the rich while they take away their health care away. I can’t explain it.

      • Beth says:

I’m embarrassed our country doesn’t think of these things. They’re too busy trying to show they support the Republicans and hate the Democrats that they aren’t thinking about their future. When they’re sick and have no healthcare they’ll realize how stupid they are

      • Christin says:

It’s really that simple, but so few can see it. The vey wealthiest and a bunch of companies are going to be ecstatic.

      • Sarah says:

They used nationalism, bigotry, hatred, sexism and racism to get votes of those who hate enough that they don’t care that these a-holes are stealing their healthcare, Medicare and Social Security.

    • Kayleigh says:

As long as it keeps POC or women out of the White House, they’ll throw all their money at it. The war on Christians is real to these people, by supporting her and her father, you’re supporting Jesus. And white people. Like the good ol’ days. * EYEROLL *

      • Esmom says:

        Bingo.

      • Kitten says:

        Yeah this. Sigh.

      • Nicole says:

@Kayleigh nailed it. White people will vote against their best interest if it keeps them “above” minorities. So instead of banding with the working class of all races they will screw themselves to feel superior. Then whine about it later.
All the stories coming out about how people who voted for trump use the most federal funds in the form of things like Medicaid. Guess who will be hit the hardest now and are simultaneously whining as if the GOP hasn’t played this same song and dance for ages

      • Kitten says:

        @ Nicole-Who is whining?
I’m seriously asking because I haven’t seen these mythical white folks who suddenly realize that they screwed themselves.
The Trumpsters I know are still married to this fantasy that it’ll all work out for them.

      • Algernon says:

        @ Kitten

My parents voted for Trump and it’s beginning to sink in that his healthcare policy could seriously hurt them. They’re holding onto hope that it’s “just the media blowing it out of proportion” but I sent them a copy of the proposed bill with relevant passages highlighted and they are worried. They never would have voted democrat (and HRC won their state handily anyway), but they are at least beginning to see that they bought into a lie. If their insurance is actually diminished/eliminated, they will be very upset. My mom’s comment was, “I didn’t think they would actually hurt us.” I see that a lot with Trump voters. They thought he was just saying whatever he had to in order to get elected, and didn’t expect him to actually follow through. It might take another year or two to really sink in (his voters need to start suffering first, sadly), but the buyer’s remorse will be strong.

      • Nicole says:

Do you follow @trump_regrets? Start there. Then see all the articles floating around about these working coal miners and midwesterners that are NOW worried about health insurance. Believe me the whining has begun

    • NotSoSocialButterfy says:

I don’t think anyone likes it, but clearly we ( the masses) are deficient in critical thinkers. I have said since the election that his supporters are going to have to be badly burned by him to learn their lessons. Idiots.

      • Christin says:

Even though history suggests otherwise, maybe this will be the time when it finally registers that the main difference in the two parties is that one looks out for big business and the super wealthy. However, that party needs additional voters, so insert the hot button topics for conservatives.

How many times can people be misled and vote against their own health and welfare. Several, apparently.

      • Original T.C. says:

It’s because many of these White voters are more about the culture wars over practical issues. White supremacy, anti-abortion, anti-feminism, hate for brown immigrants etc. The Republicans figured this out in the 1980’s and have been using it ever since.

If the new healthcare bill doesn’t work for them they will find a way to blame Democrats. Watch.

    • adastraperaspera says:

I think there is a segment of the US population that wishes to be governed by a ruler of their own (white) race–a strongman daddy type who doles out what is needed to the (white) deserving few. They hate elections. They hate “the other.” Their women embrace second class citizenship like a merit badge. These folks are not interested in participatory democracy. They’re only showing up now because their sick little racist chapter is about to close.

      • OdetteLovesKittehs says:

This is the best thing I have read all week that explains the Trumpflakes’ self-sabotage! Sad.

  7. Shambles says:

Enjoy it now, Ivanka. I hope all those online sales will cover your living expenses when your father and husband are in prison.

    • Megan says:

I suspect she is headed to jail, too. She’ll get a lesser sentence for being an accomplice rather than the mastermind.

      • Beth says:

I hope they all go to jail for being complicit scumbags Would Trump supporters still buy the stuff? Probably .

      • Shambles says:

I’m cynical on this one, Megan.

I believe with all my heart that her father and his goon squad will get what’s coming to them. But she’s still a pretty, blonde, affluent white woman in America. We don’t have a history of sending those to jail that often. And I think her virgin mother shtick has worked on enough people that she won’t go down. Jared will, but she won’t. After all, SOMEBODY HAS TO THINK OF THE BAYBEHHS

      • Sabrine says:

Publicity, good or bad, can boost sales as has happened in this case. The more people grip and complain about her products, the more they will sell. The quality of the goods doesn’t really seem to matter.

  8. Taya says:

    Ugh. 🙄

Well if they want to spend money on crappy stuff with lifted designs, joke’s on them. Too bad it’s ivanka the one that’s laughing all the way to bank. And to be honest, she’s proBably is laughing at them. But they probably don’t even realize. They should buy Complicit next. It’s her #1 best seller. At this point they’re all complicit. It’s so depressing.

    • swak says:

I’m waiting for those who thought Obamacare was different from ACA to try and buy the perfume “Complicit”!

  9. Lena says:

I don’t think they will be able to keep buying her products in those numbers though & not being in stores will hurt her in the long run.

    • Digital Unicorn (aka Betti) says:

I wonder if people are paying full price or its been heavily discounted? I know that on Amazon UK you can get some brand perfumes at a discount if it’s being sold by a 3rd party.

      • Beth says:

I’ve read that her stuff that stores are trying to get rid of is $1.00. Probably pretty cheap on Amazon too

    • Sophia's Side Eye says:

The silver lining I see is that Ivanka doesn’t want good online sales. She wants to be carried in stores like Neiman’s and Nordstrom. There’s little prestige in being #1 on Amazon for someone like her.

  10. Felicia says:

This is not a defense of Ivanka or her products, because I have no idea what they even are. Nor a statement in any way about certain other countries.

But does anyone else see the irony of the US government having passed a law that prohibits the same sort of voting with your wallet tactics against Israel, yet the daughter of the current US President is fair game?

    • Minty says:

By the US Government do you mean the state of New York? I know they passed a law there punishing companies who supported the BDS movement.

As an American I think the law is BS, but it goes to show how much influence Israel has over politicians in America. I don’t think tons of liberals support it, but I think many (not all) Jewish Americans, especially older generations, are very pro Israel and very sensitive to any negative sentiment towards Israel no matter how slight. It makes it very hard to support Palestinians or any kind of change in what’s going on over there.

A lot of people have been ignoring this law because you have to pick your battles. And the politician who presented it took a very hard line and he has a lot of money.

    • SusanneToo says:

Oh, has a law been passed preventing anyone buying ivanka’s crap? I’ve been voting with my wallet since the 60’s when Cesar Chavez and the UFW pushed the boycott of lettuce and table grapes to protest the treatment of migrant farm workers. It’s a free will movement. Follow your conscience.

      • Felicia says:

I also vote with my wallet. But the irony is that had the people who kicked off that against Ivanka would have been charged had they done the same for Israeli products. Maybe she should move her production there.

  11. Cannibell says:

Health care? Or an Ivana outfit?

    Decisions, decisions…..

    • Beth says:

They’ll wear their ivanka outfits and perfume while going to doctor appointments and having surgeries the can’t afford without health care. Won’t they feel smart and proud then? These supporters are ridiculous

  12. Ophelia says:

And when the time comes that they need to pay for their insurance premiums under Trump’s Greatest Health Care Plan in the World 2017, and they have no money left, and blaming Obama about it (still), I hope they remember what the Mister Chaffetz told them, “You know what? Americans have choices, and the’ve got to make a choice. And so, maybe, rather than getting that Ivanka Perfume and Ivanka shoes and Trump suit jackets that they just love, and that they want to go and spend hundreds of dollars on that–maybe they should invest it in their own healthcare.”

Scary thing how this ACHA thing will impact Trump voters the most? The same people who are using their hard earned money to salve Ivanka’s billion dollar hurting heart, and the same people who are probably taking out mortgages to donate to their Senators who could care less about them. Like even the ironiest of irons can’t come up with irony like this.

  13. Adrien says:

Her line sells well in Japan and in UAE and I would guess maybe in Shanghai and Moscow too. They don’t really care about international politics and they see Ivanka’s line as elegant and luxurious. She is like Kate Middleton, Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian to them.

    • Kitten says:

This might be the first time that I’ve seen fake gold zippers and polyester described as “elegant and luxurious”.

  14. rosalee says:

I was in The Bay and saw a skirt on the 70 percent off rack..I looked at the size and it was perfect until I looked at the label..it was “Ivanka” and I felt a little bit of nausea rising. A woman was watching me and I looked at her and said I can’t get over the politics of the Trumps. She said nearby there was a bigger rack filled with discount Ivanka and she felt the same way. The Bay could lower the price to 99.999 percent off and I’d still have that feeling of repulsion. Winnipeggers are known for not paying retail..but, even at 70 percent off we still have our standards. I fell in love one of Karl Lagerfeld’s shirts, I didn’t buy it..because I love Meryl more.

  15. Beth says:

Maybe it’s not just silly Trump suckers buying Ivankas crap. She has a rich family with money to waste. Maybe her family is buying it all

    • minx says:

Well, that was my thought, too.

    • Ophelia says:

Suddenly has visions of their staff being told to buy some stocking stuffers. Or Ivanka posing as someone else buying perfume in bulk and giving them out as thank you gifts to WH tourists.

But still waiting for some Ivanka Made in China White House Chinaware. Need one that will show off my cheeto sculpture in all it’s glory.

    • Christin says:

Wasn’t there a rumor that perhaps staffers were being told her / his clothing was a good match for the dress code? It certainly would not surprise me if people were buying just to gain favor with them.

    • Kitten says:

IDK I can easily picture wealthy white Trumpster women mobilizing to support Princess Trump’s designs.

      • AnnaKist says:

I see your point Kitten, but just as her poorer supporters are very limited in how much they can/will buy, I think her wealthy, white Trumpster women fans don’t want their closets overflowing with “Ivanka” junk. Even their own kind would sneer at that.

    • hmmm says:

My immediate hunch is that 45* marshalled his wealthy supporters to flood online and buy stuff, or he’s doing it himself, or she is. If they’re willing to pay people to attend his rallies, they’re definitely willing to buy up her stuff. $cientology has done this often with their books, buying up loads to push up popularity and influence.

I absolutely am convinced there’s a concerted effort to fake Ivanka’s success with this sudden uptick in sales. Basically, daddy bought it for her.

  16. ElleBee says:

LOL what does a white supremacist smell like and can I train my dog to detect them?

  17. Josefina says:

What most shocked me about this election was seeing how easy it is to lie to people. You dont have to hide the truth to lie. Trump’s supporters actually see them as martyrs. The mean stuff liberals say online is SO tough. Mean liberals are boycotting Ivanka’s line just because they dont want her to succeed, even though stuff like Ivanka’s line is what the country needs. Nevermind the fact this woman is filthy rich and she can afford a life free of serious sacrifices. Nevermind the fact her clothes were made in China and you can see that in the label.

People choose the reality they want to live in. Tell them what they want to hear, and they’ll buy it, no questions asked.

    • Snowflake says:

All this stuff is just crazy. I was thinking about it the other day. How can people live in almost alternate universes? I loved it when Obama was President. So to see that some people just hated it so much, i dont get it. Just made me think about how people’s perceptions and belief can really alter how they feel about things.

  18. sarri says:

I hate this family so much.

  19. RussianBlueCat says:

If the media(Washington Post, CNN etc) want to look into the next scandal for this administration, it would be to see how much money is going into the pockets of the Trump family and associates. That would be an interesting read

    • Felicia says:

You can’t really say anything different about the Clintons. Or the Bush family. Sadly, this is what American politics has come down to. 🙁

      • Lightpurple says:

Actually, you can. None of the Bushs or Clintons owned businesses while in the White House.

    • Safflower says:

Does anyone know the background of Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner? I was curious @ him & how he just seemed to suddenly appear, out of nowhere, into the White House. Apparently, his father Charlie Kushner has a very shady background. He was arrested & did two years in a federal prison for things like, illegal campaign contributions, witness tampering, and tax evasion. It was leaked, that the reason Chris Christie didn’t receive a position in the White House, is because Jared Kushner still holds a grudge against him for the prosecution of his father in New Jersey. I read a few articles that described Jared as being very manipulative & having a strong interest in the “Dark Art of Campaigning” (sounds vicious) Apparently, Trump listens to Jared’s advice, sometimes, over anyone else. Some say it’s the “soft tone” that Jared uses toward Trump; it seems to calm him down. I don’t know what it is @ this guy, Jared; he just gives me the creeps. I believe we should all keep an eye on him.

  20. Cee says:

They should save their money for when the ACA is dismantled and they have to pay top dollar just to see the doctor or go to hospital.

  21. Tig says:

The article I skimmed last week waiting for coffee in WSJ(??) stated her sales got a bump in Feb, but the initial flurry had abated. So a 267% inc of so-so sales is just that-a flash in the pan. And, to be honest, have yet to see an Ivanka dress or shoes on an actual human being ever in public. It’s possible that purchasers have secret wearing parties🤔.
My $$$ is on some of his supporters buying up her stuff so it “looks” like sales are robust. Didn’t one of his supporters dump 1B into the stock market to prop it up shortly after he was elected to avoid the appearance of a run on the bank if big stock holders hit “sell”?
His supporters across the board have a different view of reality, I will give them that.

    • Esmom says:

Lol at the idea of secret wearing parties. Maybe they just immediately toss them in the rag bin where they belong.

  22. The Voice says:

Give it some time. The real test will be to see if this amazing month over month trend continues. What’s it going to look like in 6 months? 8 months?

  23. robyn says:

Conflicts of interest all over the place with Trump and his family. His supporters of deplorables have no shame.

By the looks of their rallies, I don’t think the population in South Korea would put up with this kind of thing. But America seems to have lost its ethical/moral compass.

  24. HannahF says:

My sister is an Orthodox Jew and a business woman. She wears business attire that adhere to her convictions re what’s known as “modest dressing.” She finds Ivanka’s clothes meet her requirements and are fashionable and that’s a difficult combo to find. After the Nordstrom debacle I asked whether she’d be boycotting the brand as she is anti-Trump. (She purchases at T J Maxx) My sister said that instead she’d be stocking up before the brand went belly up. My initial reaction to the news of the increase was that lots of people are stocking up and/or buying massively reduced goods.

AND, best autocorrect EVER – my phone changed Ivanka to Obama.

  25. perplexed says:

Maybe she’s buying her own stuff.

  26. Bonobochick says:

So this is in line with the people who didn’t want to publicly admit that they were supporting Don the Con for president… they’ll buy Ivanka’s stuff but on the down low so that no one knows.

I would think if you have to hide your behavior, then on some level, you must know it’s wrong/suspect. Liberals will be called snowflakes by many of the same people who hide their support of all things Trump instead of owning it publicly.

  27. Dee says:

“But Ivanka’s stuff was still being sold online. And that’s where the Deplorables live.”. Posted by an online celebrity gossip site,

    Oh the irony.

Clearly both the deplorables and the insufferables inhabit the internet.

  28. Gisele DeCorvin-McGraw says:

I stayed well away from Ivanka’s clothing before Trump was a candidate because her clothing is cheap in quality, in design and in choice of fabric. It is disposable clothing and there is nothing charming or fashion forward about it. Ivanka’s clothing was being peddled in top department stores as an affordable alternative to brands like Joie and Theory. It isn’t. It falls apart. The fabric is cheap in quality. The designs are pedestrian. The price is way to high for clothing that doesn’t measure up . Her clothing didn’t sell at Nordstrom’s because Nordstrom’s customers are far more discerning than the people who voted for Trump. And no, I’m not some “knee jerk liberal” (not that there is anything at all wrong with being a liberal–even though far right zealots ardently want a one party nation and are apparently out to completely dismantle democracy in America). Sorry, Ivanka it isn’t even entirely about your father–your clothing sucks. It is poorly made in China. The fact that it is the height of hypocrisy to say you are “bringing back jobs to America” and “America comes first” and then penalizing other companies for outsourcing but then your whole family becomes super wealthy by selling crappy apparel made in China is just the last straw really. The fact that there are fools believing in Trumps’s message despite ample evidence to the contrary is just pathetic.

  29. jerkface says:

Ivunka Tramp is a terrible woman. At least we can hear the polyester swish of her crap clad supporters and smell her despicable fans coming from a mile away. Cheap cheap cheap

  30. Mary says:

Perfect for the voters of the maggot in chief. Cheap, tacky and made in other countries.

  31. JRenee says:

Amazon also advertises in Breibart apparently.

Of course it sells well on Zappos, Amazon. That’s where clothes go to die. Amazon is full of brands trying to sell off what won’t even go on Nordstrom Rack. I can’t believe anyone is surprised that Ivanka wasn’t doing well in the stores-any TJ Maxxinista has been seeing her crap on the racks there for *years*. It was pricy even in the bargain stores and I always breezed past them because even if it looked like her stuff might be cute, nobody wants to tell other women they’re wearing a *Trump*. It’s like wearing a Lauren Conrad but worse. The Olsen twins had a great idea about taking their name off their line so people would take it more seriously.

Oh please, there is a warehouse somewhere owned by a corporation under a corporation, under a corporation owned by FacisTrump that is filling up with plastic, made-in-China, uglyduds with IT’s label. Then we get “fake news” that her stuff is selling like hot cakes at bar-time. In the current atmosphere I would be less afraid to wear fur to a PETA convention than her line on the street.

I view it as possible that Russia and other countries/bad actors are buying Trump merchandise as a way to funnel bribes to the Trump family.
