In all fairness, I whole lot of Pulitzer, Booker, and Nobel prizes have been won based on liquored up ramblings….

  2. Clea says:

Usually I would applaud someone for winning a PP for writing while sloshed but not Peggy.

  3. Megan says:

Someone check the Weather Channel. I think hell froze over.

    • Original T.C. says:

My guess is she won by being one of the few conservative voices who loudly shouted ‘the emperor has no clothes on’ regarding Trump’s lack of morals, manners and conservative principles. She has since switched to the dark side because you know…at least Trump is staying ant-women’s rights, pro gun, etc. etc. oh yeah and she had a “charming” conversation with him on the phone.

  4. minx says:

I cannot stand her. She’s a holdover from the Reagan/Bush I era; I think she coined the “thousand points of light.” She still thinks Republicans are reasonable.

    • Megan says:

I have a friend who once called the police to alert them she had left her dog in the car on a sweltering hot day. What more is there to say about her?

  5. greenmonster says:

Oh Mama June, where was your outrage when the man you were in relationship with molested your daughter? Where was your mind when you took the same man back a few years after that? And where is your loving mother heart watching your youngest daughter getting bigger and bigger while you are getting a make over just to look hot?

I know kids are usually off limits, but this girl is not healthy or won’t be much longer! She probably weights more than her father and she is 11.

    • doofus says:

I also feel bad for Alana. I saw a clip/preview of June’s new show and it featured Alana…and I was so sad for her. Mom’s focused on getting “hot” and poor Honey Boo Boo is morbidly obese. it’ll only get harder for her to get healthy as she gets older.

      • greenmonster says:

That’s exactly what I mean. I feel so bad for her. This poor girl is not chubby, she is obese. And the love and support of the family can’t make her immune against all of the hurtful things that Alana is going to hear. IF there even must any show with this family, it should be focusing on the mother wanting to get a healthier life for her AND her daughters. A real focus on health issues and the emotional pain (caused by others) that being obese can bring. The word ‘hot’ shouldn’t play any part in it.
I was chubby all my life and experienced a lot of awful, hurtful and ugly comments. As I got older I learned to ignore it, but every now and then a remark or a given look still gets through to me. But I will never forget how ugly I felt as a girl of 11, 12 or 16 years old or how I even laughed about jokes at my expense, so no one would notice how much words had hurt me.

Well, really how can this poor child comfort herself besides food when her mom knowingly allowed two different abusers around her kids! ‘Mama’s’ a total narcissistic sociopath. I am appalled she would dare to call out anyone for abuse…look in the mirror mama June. You’re an abuser.

I cannot believe Peggy Noonan won a Pulitzer. Every time I see her on a panel discussing politics, I have to change the channel.

It truly is the End of Times.

    • Who ARE These People? says:

Me neither; I did a double take when I saw her name. Many writers match or exceed her ability to write; most exceed her moral standing and political awareness.

  7. Insomniac says:

What the hell did she win for? Her rambling column titled “*hic!*”?

  8. jc126 says:

Ha, I though that was Lucille Bluth in the photo!
