Audrina Patridge’s gold bikini promotes giant hamburger

Few things make me happier than the idea that I can gorge on enormous 1500 calorie cheeseburgers and still have an insanely banging body. Which is why I am absolutely spending all of my junk food allowance at Carl’s Jr from now on. Because they seem to be telling me that I can eat a bunch of Teriyaki Six Dollar Burgers and still look like Audrina Patridge. Right? Right!?!? You wouldn’t lie to me, would you Carl? Deception in advertising is not cool, so I’m going to assume I’m taking this the right way and add extra cheese while I’m at it. I’m really cranky from all the crappy oats and fruit I’ve been eating.

Carl’s Jr is sticking to their tried-and-true formula of putting a hot girl in a bikini and then making it look like she’s eating one of their hamburgers. Bikini? Sexy. Girl? Sexy. Cheeseburger? Sexy. Well, sexy to me, or if you’re on the diet I’m on. Then their advertising works damn well.

Hungry for more Audrina Patridge? Well, the Hills star – making headlines recently for getting her own reality show – will surely make mouths water with a steamy new spot for the Carl’s Jr. Teriyaki Six Dollar Burger.

“I had an absolute blast shooting. It was my first experience shooting a spot with food, and when I pulled up, I was literally salivating looking at all the rows and rows of perfect burgers waiting for me!” she recalls of the sandwich, available at Carl’s Jr. on June 24, the same day that the TV spot launches.

“I was cracking up because I would take a bite, and almost immediately a food handler with white gloves would have a brand new burger ready.”

The starlet, 24, shot in a barely-there gold bikini on the beaches of Malibu in April but didn’t mind the minimal wardrobe. “We made sure my bikini was reversible, in case of any ketchup or teriyaki mishaps! It was a great experience, and being on the beach in Malibu was an added perk,” she tells PEOPLE.

Deep thoughts from Audrina Patridge. That’s such a funny sentence to write. I appreciate that Carl isn’t really bothering to pretend there’s more going on here than getting a pretty girl into as little clothing as possible, then sticking their product nearby. If I weren’t in the process of giving up meat, I would have slapped Audrina and that white gloved dude and told them both to get the hell away from my cows. I could be totally off on the calories by the way – this particular burger is new (Carl’s Jr. has had other teriyaki burgers and other six dollar burgers, but never the genius to put them together before now), and the calorie information isn’t on their website yet. But something tells me Audrina didn’t swallow a single bite of her fabulous tray of cheeseburgers. In fact I doubt she’s eaten more than half a Boca Burger in the last ten years.

good thing they have that terrible face of hers and her untethered eyeballs pointing entirely away from the camera. she takes butterface to a whole new level.

  2. Jaclyn says:

You know what? IT IS POSSIBLE TO EAT WHAT YOU WANT AND STILL BE THIN!

I do the same thing and I know I’m thin. I eat what I want, but then work out afterwards!

Just like Audrina said, all in moderation!

  3. HashBrowns says:

LOL at “untethered eyes”. I never noticed but she also has gigantic chiclet teeth. Honey, no.

  4. jess says:

PETA is going to have a field day with this considering she was in their angels for animals campaign

  5. nimble minx says:

aha…jess, I was just about to say “didn’t she do a spokesperson thing for PETA?!”

  6. LovingLife says:

It looks more like she is having oral sex with the hamburger than eating it – gotta love advertising’s motto of ‘Sex Sales’

Jaclyn – one can eat what one wants and stay thin of one wants to stay thin more then one wants to eat the entire 1,500 calorie burger with fries and a chocolate shake. There’s not enough sit-ups in the world to fix a binge like that!

  7. Liz says:

“Untethered eyeballs” is officially the best explanation thus far, for Audrina and her facial situation.

  8. czarina says:

Sure, if you are willing to work out day and night, you can eat what you want.
Frankly, I’d rather eat a bit less and not spend my life in a gym. (my exercise phobia is showing!LOL)
At least I appreciate her chowing down on a big burger and talking about moderation than looking all self-righteous while she eats a lettuce leaf.
There is nothing more tedious than an extremely thin woman going on about how she only eats fish oil and steamed kale leaves then does yoga for seven hours!!

  9. GimmeABreak says:

eewwwwww….I’m tellin’ PETA!! It just goes to show you what a whore for fame she is. She’ll do anything for anyone. Sad.

  10. moi says:

it is unfortunate that she got a boob job, her figure was so much nicer before.

  11. the Sarge says:

Seriously people, what do you have against exercise?! Working out a few days a week makes you feel awesome! It’s ok to eat bad every now and then, people fail because they freak out when they even blow their diets a little bit. No wonder Americans are so fat…
Oh, and Audrina is a very pretty young woman– I’d like to see the people who left nasty comments about her! I bet there is no comparison!

  12. Ana says:

I believe her offical nickname is “Ceiling Eyes” which took me forever to figure out! Haha. I just never paid attention to the way her eyes are always looking up.
Unteethered eyeballs is a wonderful explanation.
I hate her boob job. I actually think she looked better before. The rest of her body is banging.

  13. LovingLife says:

I’m an American, not fat and love to exercise. I love to eat, so I can’t everything as much as I want or my jeans would stop fitting. When encountering a 1,500 calorie burger, I would cut it in fourths and split it with 3 friends. Even my 6ft 3 weight lifting boyfriend would avoid that many calories on any kind of a regular basis! Many Americans are fat, but not all of them so stop the stereotype and pass the spinach.

  14. Makeesha says:

Audrina and Speidi and all those Hills crew could visit a factory farm. THAT would make an interesting episode. Burger King’s Veggie burger is the Queen! I’ve tried them everywhere, from fancy restaurants to diners, but BK has got the veggie burger thing down pat.

  15. kristy says:

i just did a speech on this…and over 63% of americans are with a BMI of 25 of greater which means they are overweight, with 31% with a BMI of 30 or great which is considered obese.

so lovinglife, while it is true, we should stop stereotyping, we also need to acknowledge that it is a problem in america.

  16. Christina X says:

Gotta love the double standard between fat people and thin people in the media.

God forbid anyone SLIGHTLY chunky get caught eating a cheeseburger in public, but I guess if you look good in a bikini with a bolt-on rack, you can ram a cheeseburger down your throat. You have to appreciate how this thread culls the same crowd who attacked Kelly Clarkson for her weight gain for her alleged over-eating” a few weeks ago, but there’s nothing wrong with Audrina Patridge glorifying the same gluttony?

Not that I have a problem with fast food, but I sort of have a problem with the apologetic BS by the same people who go out of their way to criticize a celebrity when they get a little fat.

But hey, as long as that cheeseburger doesn’t go to her belly, arms, or thighs, it’s OK!

  17. Yae says:

People also need to realize there are people who CANT put on weight, and there are people who CANT get it off!
Obesity is a gene. Some people can drink Ensure high carb 10X a day and cant get any body fat. Some drink 1 a week and gain weight.
Chunky is natural for overeaters but obesity is not. Scientifically it is traced back to cultures that have starvation in their history. Scottish, Hawaii’s population. Even Native Americans.

  18. Yae says:

America is filled with genetics linked to cultures that have a history of collective starvation. Introduce that culture to high carb, cheap diets…you get FAT. Natures way of preventing future starvation. So let’s not get America into it, unless you wish to discuss all the diverse genetic factors involved, and the cheap crap food that’s peddled. People who still live in their own native country with their NATIVE food, tend to NOT be obese. Ex: Asians, Brazilians. Never think (most of the time) if you’re Scottish and you eat rice all day you won’t get fat. Chances are you will. The Asian won’t.

  19. Yae says:

Sorry I have to add a bit more. Colder climate cultures/genetics tend to keep on weight(insolation) (FAT GENE) Ex: Alaskans, Irish/Scots. Warmer peoples tend to have skinny gene to keep cool (less insolation), India, Africa, Brazil etc.
Yes folks there IS A FAT gene. Let’s work on that instead of thinking all fat people are pigs who don’t work out.

  20. Zebra Spots says:

hollow head with zombie eyeballs eats meat. news at 11:00

  21. Audrina has to make those boobs pay for themselves, so it makes sense she did this.

I stopped watching the Hills, so why did she get a boob job? She had the best body on the show to begin with. Was it just seeing the attention Heidi got after hers?

  22. BluePlanet says:

What an airhead – representing PETA, then being in a burger ad. Opportunistic much?

  23. Jag says:

    Wow… she’s beautiful.

The veggie burger at BK has a ton of saturated fat, if memory serves me, so make sure to look it up on their website. I actually stopped eating it after reading what it had in it, and I had been eating it any time I went for “fast food.”

  24. Zoe (The Other One) says:

Tee hee – ‘untethered eyes’ makes for big LOLs!

I wish someone would pay me loads to sit on a beach pushing burgers into my face all day. Great job.

  25. Feebee says:

The PETA angle should be disregarded. Not all farmers/ranchers etc abuse the animals they are breeding/raising for human consumption. If PETA’s role is to make the human race vegetarians then they’re bonkers. Ditto anyone who believes someone who looks like AP would actually eat more than one bite of that hideous (but probably delicious) burger.

  26. Chris Kryer says:

she likes to eat her poop too.

  27. Christina X says:

I think that “eye candy” is what’s wrong with pop culture today.

Just sell the damn burger. This may come from a straight female, but this doesn’t make me hungry at all.

They’re not focusing any attention to the product they’re selling; they’re bringing attention to a half-nude vacant wannabe “seductively” ramming a burger down her face. Big difference.

Sex doesn’t always mean creative, kids.

  28. Ship Shape says:

creepy eyeballs and emptyhead devours like a weird mammal. oh sooo useless!

  29. spiceh says:

ummmm, ya know, ummmm, ya know….ummm

    lol…

  30. lex says:

I don’t know who she is and never watch the Hills (not planning to either), but she looks effin amazing!
And I’ve been caught in my bikini poolside slammin a burger so whatever. She looks great and burgers are yummy!!
And if this ‘untethered eyeball’ thing is true (will have to find a pic, this I gotta see), then they have certainly found the right camera angle to beat the problem!!

  31. Paz says:

I love that bathing suite! Does anyone know where I could it?! I heard that I could get it at Joeytierney.com but I wasn’t sure.

    Thanks!

  32. sar says:

i think she looks totally hott. Im really into the gold bikini and i just ordered it on JoeyTierney.com.
