Jennifer Lopez took a day off from filming her TV series Shades of Blue to take in some baseball. The 48-year-old singer/actress made it a family day, taking her 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme, along with beau Alex Rodriguez’s two daughters, Natasha, 12 and Ella, 9, to the Mets vs. Dodgers game at Citi Field in Queens, New York. Alex was working, covering the event for Fox Sports. Jennifer also brought along her mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, posting a sweet photo on Instagram with the caption “Me and my beautiful mommy.”
Jen showed off her extended, blended family in an Instagram story, saying, “So, here we are at Citi Field. We’re having a family day with all the kiddies and grandma.” She’s sure dressed impeccably for a baseball game. I’m more of a tank top, shorts and flip flops kind of baseball game attendee. Jennifer is making me reconsider my future Braves game day wardrobe.
Alex, who retired from the New York Yankees after a very successful 22-year career, joins FOX Sports as an in-game analyst for the MLB Saturday broadcasts. He’s also serving as a studio analyst and will do some feature reporting for the network’s pregame coverage. And, when he’s not doing that, he’s selling his autograph for $150 a pop. Does he really need that money? Lainey pointed out that Jennifer is attending these sports cons with Alex and seems to be ok (for the moment) with letting him have his time in the spotlight. Like Lainey, I’m not sure how long that will last.
But, hey, so far, so good for A-rod and J-Lo. Their kids do seem to get along swimmingly. As a friend of the couple told PEOPLE “[Alex] loves family and so does she. For Jennifer, family comes first.” I hope Jennifer is happy, and she looks like she is, so good on her.

Stunning dress but I think it would be more appropriate to put the girls away for a wedding. The focus should be on the bride and not JLo’s tatas, tight dress and double layer of spandex.

That being said, holy hell that dress is GORGEOUS–the color, cut, and fabric is perfection. She looks great for the red carpet or a fancy night out, just NOT a wedding FFS.

I hope this works out for her. She seems really involved since her kids are hanging out with his kids.
I have always gotten the vibe that she doesn’t like being alone. That she loves being in love and enjoys the high that comes with being in love and then once that high evaporates she stays until she cannot anymore.
She seems to love being in love, that’s for sure. Her mom is indeed lovely, as are she and the kids. A-Rod, however, grosses me out to no end. I feel like she could so so much better.

Yeah, I didn’t dress that nice for dinner and a play on Fri night. My baseball game attire is definitely far more casual. But I don’t sit in those fancy boxes, either! The kids are adorable.
If this was 15 years ago, they would be the hottest couple in the world. But it’s 2017, I hope it works and is drama free.

They’re good now, but it’s not going to last. She’s going to get too old for him. Yeah, that sounds terrible but that’s reality, as superficial and shallow as it might seem, and it’s especially true in their world.
