Sarah Jessica Parker’s marriage is doomed

you're too good for me. Now get out.
Sarah Jessica Parker thinks her husband can do better. She recently said that she fears she’s “holding him back.” Isn’t that what people say when they need an excuse to leave?:

Parker is quoted recently as expressing regrets over marrying… Broderick because she thinks she’s “holding him back” from someone better suited for a man “in his prime”.

Parker says, “I feel bad that he’s not on the market… I feel like I’m holding him back in certain ways. I love him so much.”

“He’s just getting to his prime and I’m holding him back…

“Every now and then I see him with a woman and she’s really smart and beautiful and I’m like, ‘God, they have great chemistry. They’d be great together.'”

So she’s sick of him, she thinks he’s cheating, or she’s cheating and wants an excuse. Either way, there’s something wrong with their marriage.

Parker, 40, and Broderick, 43, have been together since 1992 and have been married for 9 years. They have a three year-old son, James. In a January, 2005 interview Parker revealed that she works hard on her marriage, and that she does practically everything for Broderick:

“Matthew is a master at making himself appear a bit downtrodden and in need of help. He knows exactly how to get people to do everything for him. And the brilliant thing about it is that his charm is so pervasive that he pulls it off so effortlessly that you never realise he’s secretly manipulating you to buy the groceries, answer his mail, make dinner reservations and get his dry-cleaning. He doesn’t even bother to try to hail a cab when we’re out on the town together. He just assumes I’ll be out there in the middle of traffic waving frantically for a cab! And he pretends to be so lovably innocent that you can’t even get annoyed with him. He just gives you this blissful smile and you’re hooked!”

It sounds like Parker is sick of waiting on Broderick hand and foot for 14 years and wants out.
