Katie Holmes introduced Bruno Mars and Cardi B last night for some reason. (That performance was excellent.) She was in a Zac Posen gown that would have been just right for any other awards ceremony but looks a little too staid for the Grammys, especially with that styling. The chunky heels are meant to go with that gown. It’s like Posen tried to make the look funky with a shiny thicker fabric, more modern cut and accessories but it’s still not a Grammys dress. Katie and Jamie Foxx went to Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys party together, sat at the same table and looked loved up. Considering how long we’ve been hearing rumors about them, and how steadily the stories came out for years, this was a long time coming.
Rita Ora wore a Ralph and Russo gown which also looked very classic on video, which is surprising for her. Her fashion usually looks utterly ridiculous. However once I saw the red carpet photos I realized why she wore that dress. Her ass was hanging out the side. Still, I liked the turned up asymmetric collar and side slit with the metallic lining, that was a cool feature.
Also, get a load of Rita at Clive Davis’s event. She looks like a flapper cosplaying as a lampshade. This is the Rita we’ve come to expect. She posed with Katie Holmes too.
Kelly Clarkson was nominated in the Pop solo performance category for “Love So Soft,” and she said she was rooting for Kesha in that category, as were so many of us. Unfortunately that went to Ed Sheeran, the only man nominated in that category. If you haven’t read it yet, check out Kaiser’s editorial about that, and how so many of the statements and performances last night fell on deaf ears in that industry. Her dress was Christian Siriano and it’s fug with those metallic lattice embellishments and fringe but I love her styling.

I like the black Zac Posen dress, but not sure it works on Katie Holmes. At least not with the vampy styling. I don’t mind her going a little more low-key at the Grammys. She’s probably didn’t want to take away from the musicians/nominees. However, she looked absolutely lovely in the red dress.
She looked amazing … beautiful, indeed. However, I’m not quite sure why she did the introducing as I’ve not seen her involved in the music industry in any way. So her presence was a little confusing.
It was in NYC this year so my guess is they went for the most well known NY celebs
If they weren’t designer non grata, I’d swear that Rita Ora lampshade dress was a Marchesa.
That pic of Holmes and Foxx at the Grammy party makes me happy.

Why does everyone look so washed out on camera? Everyone’s skin just looks so…sallow and tired. Or maybe it’s just me.
While Katie never looks bad she always looks like a miss to me, absolutely no “it” factor. She’s the definition of boring.
Not sure about Katie at the Grammys but I find her dress a deserving breath amidst a sea of trashy gasps lol.
It should be a crime to design or wear a dress as ugly and tacky as Ritas. Why does anyone make themselves look so bad on purpose?

I never get why Rita Ora is anywhere. She doesn’t make music, she’s not a model and she’s not an actress. Not sure why people are still trying to make her happen
I genuinely thought Rita Ora was one of those people now labelled as “social media influencers” (or something like that). Like someone who just goes to fancy parties and and music festivals and posts it on Instagram?
She might as well be. She’s not making waves being a musician or actress
It’s true Rita would attend the opening of the new toilet on Queens Boulevard but ah …she is a singer. Her song “anywhere” is quite lovely. My daughter has been listening to it for the past week.
I mean I know she is…just her music has never gone anywhere really. she was signed to Roc Nation at one point.

I didn’t like Soriano in his stint on Project Runway and didn’t understand why he won. But then again I’m a sweats and t-shirt kind of girl. I do appreciate that he designs for all body types and just not the skinny model type.

Will someone explain to me why Christian Siriano is a thing? I have tried to like his designs and have checked out his “outrageously expensive for cheap looking clothing” and I almost get a feeling he hates women with that smirk.

This is the second dress I’ve seen that makes me think Siriano is trolling Kelly Clarkson. That dress is beyond hiddy! I will say he’s done nice dresses for Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy, but he seems to be going downhill.
Is it just Rita Ora’s thing to have long dark roots all the time? I’ve never seen her with her roots freshly done!

love the red dress on katie , and her hair is a little longer, She looked very beautiful when she read the nominees. my guess is Jamie got her in, she may have taken his spot by presenting too,I would imagine him having some clout in the grammy awards scheme of things, and the photos of them together were really nice.
Wish they would just come out and say , yes we are together, and then go back being private.
She was at his birthday and photographed on stage with him, was photographed holding hands and playing around on the beach with him, was at the opening of his sunglasses store, and on his instagram a few days ago , he wrote he was lovesick, I guess it meant Katie,, not to mention going to Paris with him.
This game is getting annoying now, also somehow I get the feeling it’s more her than him, she is the one that hides not him.
I didn’t even notice the dress with that awful hair. I like Katie Holmes, but I’m not a fan of the super short hair, and that old-fashioned wavy style didn’t do her juustice.
