A few weeks ago, Khloe Kardashian tried to compliment herself on social media. It was the dumbest kind of humble-brag too, because it involved her relationship with Tristan Thompson, the man who repeatedly cheated on her during her pregnancy. Khloe is still with Tristan and she’s pretending that everything is totally fine and that they are an amazing little family unit. Her humble-brag, weeks ago, was that she’s “proud” of the strength she’s shown, because apparently it takes a lot of strength to stay with a cheater. Well, now someone in the Kardashian camp is spilling the tea on what’s going on with Khloe and Tristan behind-the-scenes.
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are turning to a professional to help them work out their issues. Lisa Stanley, a longtime friend of Kris Jenner, opened up about the couple’s relationship following Thompson’s cheating scandal in April days before their daughter was born, saying, Khloé would never leave him.
“She doesn’t want to look a fool. She was a fool once with Lamar [Odom], and she didn’t want to do it again,” Stanley told KIIS FM’s Celeb HQ on Monday.
To help move on from the scandal, they’ve sought out couples therapy.
“One thousand percent they are working through couples therapy. She’s working hard, he’s working hard,” she shared. “You can’t just earn trust back in two months.”
Although Khloé’s family wanted her to leave Thompson, Stanley said that would never happen.
“Khloé was always going to try and make this work, for a plethora of reasons. The first reason is she has a child now, and she feels very connected to [Tristan] in that way,” she said. “The second reason is she loves him. She clearly loves the man.”
“She doesn’t want to look a fool”?? So she’s staying with a guy who was clearly trying to force her hand and get her to dump him? She doesn’t want to look like a fool… when I guarantee that the headline seven months from now will be “Tristan caught in flagrante with girl he met on Instagram.” But sure, there’s nothing wrong with couples therapy. I still think Khloe is delusional AF though.

Khloe herself commented a “Lisa who?” in the post at Instagram, now deleted (I’ve read this at Comments by Celebs). But a) you don’t look like a fool, girl, you look plain stupid b) why does she feel the need to comment on every post about this subject, to answer every tweet? Doing couples therapy, fake news or not, it’s actually what makes you look 0,1% less of a fool.
Because she’s a Stage 5 Clinger and (my guess here) he’s stuck with her until she’s ready to be done. Being with Khloe in the first place was not exactly great for his image – fans are notorious for taunting TT with Khloe chants – and the Kardashian drama is exactly what his team and professional relationships DON’T want. Especially considering that all of this went down during the playoffs and the road to the playoffs. Leaving her, now with a baby in the mix, will be the nuclear option for his public image.
And Khloe loves the status of being with a baller. She’s made it infinitely clear that she’s not giving up TT until the bitter end.
I’m suspecting he is leading her on a bit. Maybe to defuse her anxiety and emotions. Maybe to make himself feel better. Maybe because some people dont want to be the ones who say no to couples therapy. Whatever it is I’m not seeing him being 100% over her. If she’s still trying to hold it together he might be feeding that too. For the wrong reasons.
Take PBAN’s advice, Khloé. There’s no shame in walking away from a shit relationship, darl.

Failure gives you low self esteem. She had a major marriage failure with Lamar Odom. We all witnessed how she supported him right after his stroke at a whorehouse. Khloé always gives herself 100% and what she gets back in return is betrayal. She should dump him and pick up the pieces and move on with her life. Tristan will cheat on her again.
Yeah, we witnessed it because she kept dragging in cameras.
I still think she had mixed motives for that. She not only was staying 24/7 at his bedside, she was pushing away non-Kardashian-related significant others in his life who could have provided respite. That suggests she was very afraid of what he might say if she wasn’t right there. Soon before the stroke, he had threatened to spill the secrets if the Kardashians didn’t stop manipulating and misrepresenting him as a plot line.
She seemed to relax only when she realized his memory was impaired.
I think she was bs’ing us all. They showed her on her family’s station E! looking all tired and full of despair. His incident occurred right after the episode in which she was talking trash on him. It was widely suggested she didn’t necessarily cause but was the catalyst of his downfall. Those hospital visits of hers were all for her show. I almost believed she went to his aide out of love, but was soon sleeping James Harden who dumped her soon after and warned Tristan and all ballers to stay away from her. All of Tristan’s cheating will be on the brand new episodes starting in August. Sigh. I wish Odom would write a book. She had a huge part in his destruction. I think the same applies to Scott Disick. Take a weak person to begin with, tantalize them with the money of the show and watch them self-destruct. Too much time I spend analyzing these asshats.
The first thing I see in the morning is my nemesis! If she doesn’t want to look like a fool, she better go in disguise! Is that reality show Couples Therapy still on the air? That is something she would gravitate to, more exposure.
Already looks the fool. Once he goes back to playing and she stays in L.A., he’ll cheat more and it will all come out. Then we’ll get stories of the break up.

I don’t really understand what she sees in him, the body language doesn’t scream that there is a real relationship to salvage. And what kind of a guy does what he did while his baby is incubating? His idea of a relationship is casual at best.
But maybe the counseling isn’t about that but rather about the child. Maybe they are actually focusing on how to co-parent.
Well if they are actually concentrating on the coparenting aspect I hope his son is included. No one ever seems concerned about the fact that he has a son also, who he ignores.

I have long given up applying conventional standards of happiness on these people or other fameballs like the Real Housewives crowd. The rest of us seek relationships and jobs and pursuits that are real and make us happy. These people are so warped that they purposefully seek out people and situations solely for the drama they will bring. Drama means ratings, ratings mean attention and money. The kindest, nicest person could approach these people but they wouldn’t stand a chance because kind and nice do not bring the drama.
She doesn’t just want the status of being with Tristan: I predict we’ll have a second pregnancy announcement from Khloe within the next 12 months. She’s wanted kids for too long to let him off with just one baby, and, in her misguided mind, she probably, foolishly, thinks a second kid would make him toe the line even more.
I say a pregnancy announcement before thanksgiving and a engagement around Christmas. Rumours of more cheating close to True’s first birthday, then a break up before the next baby is due. Of course all this drama/trauma will be filmed for the new season of KUWTK in the fall 2019

Idk. Tristan is pretty good on the Court, but hardly a superstar. Don’t think she gets status points from him. You may be right that she wants baby #2 pronto if he is foolish enough to agree. Kim and Kourtney have the same father for their children. I doubt Kourtney ever envisioned herself with Scott for a lifetime. She wouldn’t even marry him. But if history repeats itself, she will try to follow in her sister’s footsteps, although without the same results.

I agree he’s not a superstar but no superstar player is going to want a Kardashian and I’m not sure how many of the real stars are even single. He’s pretty good for her level.
Bottomline is that she’s madly in love with him and she’s not going to let go. She’s going to force the “happy/in love family” narrative for as long as she possibly can. I think she’d even allow him to sneak around with randoms as long as he’s discrete–probably one reason why he wasn’t. He wants out, she won’t let go. He’s a real “catch” for her–someone who would be out of her league if she wasn’t a “Kardashian.” She’s desperate to make this work. And yes, I do see her trying to get at least one more kid out of the situation.
