I barely recognized Jennifer Garner in the thumbnails of her appearance at the American Ballet Theatre’s Annual Holiday Benefit in Beverly Hills last night. I think it’s because she lightened her hair a little with honey highlights. She’s also gone lighter with her makeup. She looks so pretty! Her dress is kind of nondescript, but it’s perfect for the event and her styling stands out. We’ve learned through Garner’s posts on Instagram that she studied ballet as a child and is a fan. She’s surely thrilled to support the cause.
Garner also posted a video to Instagram (that’s below) where she’s in a nutcracker costume “helping” the dancers get ready for their performance. She’s acting goofy and out of place, as is her schtick, but it’s nice to see the dancers. I have only seen the Nutcracker once, when I was very little and found it boring. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again actually.
Last week there were photos of Garner and her boyfriend, restaurant technology CEO John Miller, heading to breakfast. They didn’t seem to be photographed together, and E! quoted a source who previously said that they want to keep the relationship “private and for themselves” and that Jen is “keeping things under wraps by going away with him and seeing him in private places.” OK thanks for letting us know.
Also points for getting this little venus flytrap all dressed up as a santa plant and then having it close around a beard. That’s clever!

She looks really good here. Not sure what’s different – maybe makeup, maybe minor tweaks? But either way, it suits her.
Agreed. It feels like something is different in her upper lip area, like she stopped doing whatever was overinflating it all these years, or maybe shaved down the tip of her nose? Regardless, she looks great and happy too. Good for her!
Her hair has been flat-ironed, is how I see it. Usually it’s more naturally curly/wavy.
Her hair looks…strange… bump/wave on top. While her face looks a bit longer(?) maybe it’s the hairline, combed back a bit, she looks like she had a bit of filler in the cheek , and has those Botox bunny lines.
Or maybe it’s that she just looks REALLY happy lately, not a look we’re used to seeing on her with Affleck?

I feel like her nose has had some editing. like filled to smooth it out. Any little rhinoplasty can make a huge difference to a face.
She looks like she’s channeling Rachel McAdams. Not that that’s a bad thing, but she doesn’t quite look like herself.
I went and looked back at other photos – her face looks more round, and her brows are definitely drawn in darker than normal. And she usually wears a more nude lip color – this one is still light and glossy, but it’s a more bright pink than her usual. So if there’s tweaking, she’s kept it minimal which is always smart. But I think the biggest difference is that she looks super super happy – and it’s nice to see.
The hair is a big change. She looks so much better with the shorter hair. The color is different as well.
Her hair doesn’t look that different to me, the colour is slightly lighter but otherwise it’s the same style she’s had for years. It’s something around her eyes that looks different to me.
I would say she has let her upper lip go natural and stopped wearing heavy eye make-up or false lashes. She looks real.
I think she looks the same as ever in the smiley picture, but different in the non-smiley pics. I think she looks different because we’re missing her big dimples and teeth. She’s almost always smiling.

I thought maybe it was that she parted her hair on a different side than she normally does. I usually see photos of it parted down the middle or on the other side. But you all are more likely to be right – her face has probably had a little “refresh.” She looks really pretty!
Botoxed to the hilt. She lost definition in her philtrum — the area between your nose and upper lip is not supposed to be completely smooth. Starting to look aged and pinched yet weirdly smooth, typical LA.

Fersure- I feel like it’s possibly a major microderm (my sister’s friend got a crazy peel that took 10 YEARS OFF HER FACE), and my gut says something is different with her lids, but I would also be on board with botox around the hairline and tapping back on the top lip fill to distract from it. On top of everything they make her hair different, change the eye makeup to make it all look like, well, just “a look.” Perfect timing since she got all ripped, and is now expected to “soften up.” It’s funny- the Hollywood dudes do a weight gain FIRST, THEN get work done and drop the weight so it looks like it’s exercise related (ahem, George Clooney, Tomb Cruise, Brad-is-the-Pitts…)

I think she’s low key with her fashion choices and this gown looks,to me how I would expect her to dress.Since this is a Christmas/winter type event I think the long skirt part of the dress would have been great with a cashmere sweater top,fitted,and tucked into the skirt.

I get her geeking out on the ballet, I was the same way from early childhood on. It’s punishing, to be sure, but such a magical art form.

I actually think she got some filler in her cheeks and maybe a bit in some other facial areas. The shape of her face is different and she is usually quite angular (to the point of at times appearing a bit gaunt even). Here she is full and fleshy…quite plump in the face. Her face is very round all of a sudden. No judgments here (I’m 41 and have had “baby botox” four or so times since I was 36, no for sure no judgment here!), but I’m pretty sure she had a wee bit of filler. My dermatologist friend agrees (she works in a plastic surgeon’s office that mostly does cosmetic surgery as well as other basic procedures like fillers, botox, restylane, IPL, peels, etc.). I think she’s always been quite natural (?), but looks like she finally had a little something done. It’s more than hair color and bangs/no bangs. I think it will look better when it settles in a bit.
She’s put on weight, too. She had lost some while she was training for that bigoted Peppermint movie that she was doing, and then maintained that for awhile (hoping for a sequel? lol). Now though I think she has gained most of it back.

no plastic surgery. She has obviously been working out, she looks great. What changes her face is very simple – her side part. She used to part it on the left side, now it’s the right. No one’s face is symmetrical, so it looks different. Plus she’s lost what, about 250 pounds in the name of Ben? She’s happy.
It’s odd because I would have assumed she done Botox or some other cosmetic surgery if I were going off of only the first picture alone. But in all the other shots she looks just exactly the same and like herself. So I’m going to guess it was just new styling and the angle.
