I’m always a little bit suspicious whenever we see a lot of paparazzi photos of Angelina Jolie and the kids. One argument is that they’re just living their lives and she doesn’t care either way if she’s photographed. Another argument is that Angelina thinks she needs to help along the narrative that she’s spending the most time with the kids, and that Brad Pitt is still being monitored more than two years after the Plane Incident. I mean, we never see photos of Brad and the kids. Is that because he never sees them or because he never goes out with them? I don’t know.

I do know that Angelina stepped out throughout the weekend in LA. On Saturday, she went to Petco with Shiloh and they came out of the store with some kind of new pet. On Sunday, Angelina stepped out with Zahara and the twins for dinner at Kabuki Sushi. Maybe they were doing takeout? Angelina seems to have a big bad of food in one hand, or maybe those are the leftovers.

I like Angelina’s look here, and it feels like she wore this because she knew she could be pap’d. A black, slouchy, cowl-neck sweater and heels? Yeah, she knew she looked cute. Incidentally, there was some talk last week of how Angelina has “always” had some kind of simmering beef with Charlize Theron, and how Charlize and Brad possibly dating was the worst thing that ever happened to Angelina. I don’t doubt that Angelina and Charlize have been up for some of the same roles throughout their careers, but I don’t buy that there’s any kind of long-standing beef between them. Plus, I don’t buy that Charlize and Brad are even happening, and Angelina clearly doesn’t give a f–k either. Still, it doesn’t hurt for Angelina to step out in LA looking cute, huh?
