Here are some photos of Jennifer Lopez out and about in New York yesterday. For several weeks, she’s been in NYC filming Hustlers with a splendid cast of ladies (including Cardi B and a banged Constance Wu). Yesterday, Jennifer stopped by a studio and these photos look like they’re part of a magazine photoshoot, mostly because Jennifer’s ensemble looks so uncomfortable. Sometimes her “street clothes” just work, and sometimes it’s a miss. The combo of the high-waisted drapey trousers with the platform heels and the “fur vest”… it’s just a big nope. Jennifer also stopped by a radio station yesterday to chat about life in general, and she talked about whether she’s made any wedding plans with Alex Rodriguez yet:
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez dated for two years before announcing their engagement on March 9, and as Lopez reveals on WKTU’s Cubby & Carolina In The Morning, they haven’t started wedding planning yet.
“We just got engaged, and then right afterwards we started working right away and we’re working the rest of the year, so I don’t know what’s going to happen,” she explains in the interview, which releases on Wednesday. “We haven’t decided if we’re going to squeeze it in somewhere or we’re going to wait. I really don’t know yet. It’s easy [to talk about], I’m not lying right now.”
Lopez definitely has a lot on her plate. On June 7, she’ll be kicking off her It’s My Party tour, to celebrate her upcoming 50th birthday. She’ll be on tour for most of the summer.
“The kids will probably be with me the whole time,” she says of whether her 11-year-old twins, Emme and Max, will be joining her on the road. “Alex has Sunday night baseball [for ESPN], so he’ll be in and out. He told me, ‘I’m definitely at opening night, I’m definitely at closing night, in between we’ll figure it out.'”
During one of our Gossip with Celebitchy podcasts a few weeks back, CB and I were talking about J-Rod and whether they would even make it down the aisle. CB brought up the idea that maybe this would end up being one of Jennifer’s broken engagements (like the Ben Affleck thing) because A-Rod is such a cheater. My take at the time was that Jennifer will never break an engagement. It’s not in her DNA, even if all of the red flags are there and even if her fiance is a terrible cheater. Jennifer will make it down the aisle. But honestly, I do wonder. She doesn’t seem like she’s in any kind of hurry to get married, which is so unlike her. Hm…

Sigh. I love her but she makes it SO damn hard with her insistence on wearing fur. It looks ridiculous on her and everyone else except the animal it came from. Gross.

She needs to cut that freakin hair, STOP wearing fur and leather and not plan, yet another, over the top wedding. He’s a cheater, she’s an idiot and almost fifty. Stop JLo, please stop. Yes she pretty, yes she has a nice figure, yes she’s rich- whatever. These things do not a sensible woman make.

They’re extensions and they look dated and dumb.
Everything with those two is timed and planned. Yes, I don’t see them getting married this year. Remember, Jennifer’s last marriages were hella short engagements and then straight down the aisle. And during that time since she had 200 million different projects going on, it always coincided with something she was promoting.
So if Hustlers gets a 2020 release date, expect a spectacle. And I would not expect anything less from Jennifer.

I find it a little suspicious they aren’t planning anything for this year. That doesn’t track with her usual wedding speed. Maybe she’s wisely not rushing anymore, or maybe…it won’t happen at all?
I barely tolerate her, she has little talent other than obsessive self-promotion. But my barely tolerating has instantly turned to abhorrence because of the fur. STOP WEARING FUR.
