Sigourney Weaver rules for doing that…Sigourney Weaver rules in general.

    • Tiffany says:

If Sigourney showed up in front of me, I will faint. No lie.

      She is freaking Ellen Ripley.

    • charo says:

WHY people, why? I don’t get her appearing w/him.

She should do a love story w/someone appealing. We need some love stories, there really aren’t any.

  2. Tiffany says:

You know, I would dig a Jennifer Aniston vehicle. I just wish she had another co-star.

    • lucy2 says:

I’m looking forward to the project she has coming up with Reese Witherspoon, but this Adam Sandler thing looks pretty terrible, unsurprisingly. I assume they all did it just to get a paid vacation.

      • Tiffany says:

And I am gonna lay it squarely at Sandler’s feet. I really think if she had another male lead, it would not look like a mess.

He has been phoning it in and I am sick of him have the privilege of getting paid gobs of money to do it.

      • Jess says:

Sarah on LaineyGossip had the best take – Adam Sandler has somehow convinced Hollywood studios (and now Netflix) to finance vacations for him and his buddies. Meanwhile, they cancel Santa Clarita Diet.

      • lucy2 says:

I’m so sad about Santa Clarita! It was a really unique, funny show. It must have had very low ratings or was expensive to produce, I don’t know.

I’m REALLY sad about One Day At A Time – Netflix went on and on about how great it was, and representation and diversity, and still canceled it, a show that probably didn’t cost much at all. But then they through HUGE sums at people like Ryan Murphy and Adam Sandler. I don’t get it.

      • Digital Unicorn says:

Aniston is funny, Sandler is not and never has been.

    • gayle says:

These 2 – Aniston & Sandler – truly epitomize the Hollywood double standard when it comes to ageing. Although she hasn’t had a lot of noticeable plastic surgery done (ok, nose) Aniston works hard to maintain her looks – diet, exercise, non-invasive cosmetic work, etc. On the other hand, Sandler has done jack squat in terms of effort and is STILL getting regular work. His weight has crept up, his grooming is lacking and he always looks like a mess.

    • Still_Sarah says:

True confessions: I loved them in the movie “Just Go With It”. Aniston rocks when she has the right male co-star and while I do believe Sandler is an a** in real life, I enjoy his movies. I will go and see this 🙂 . And yes, I am a bit embarrassed to admit that. #DontJudgeMe

  3. Lucy says:

Has anyone seen the twitter exchange between T-Pain and Joe Dempsie (Gendry)? I was cackling.

  4. AJ says:

Of course Jennifer Aniston’s new movie looks dumb. She hasn’t filmed a decent thing in years.

  5. Rebecca says:

Sorry, but 99% of Jennifer Aniston’s movies are just terrible. There are only two movies of Aniston’s that I semi-cared for – Cake and Horrible Bosses. I wish she would just stop making those cheesy romantic comedies and stick to more serious roles for awhile. She could be a decent actor if she would take more chances.

    • minx says:

I’m not saying you have to be young to do romantic comedies, but Aniston still wants to be the ingenue.

    • AJ says:

      I so agree with this!

    • paddingtonjr says:

I agree. Even when she was younger, she wasn’t that good in rom coms. When she’s not trying to play the ingenue or yet another version of Rachel Green, I’ve enjoyed her work (Horrible Bosses, Marley & Me, Derailed). It is not an age issue, it’s a talent issue. Adam Sandler is the same; in his more serious films, such as Spanglish or Punch Drunk Love, he’s good. In rom coms or buddy films, it’s just the same old Sandler.

    • Emby says:

Friends with Money was a genuinely good movie, and the only Aniston movie I liked, I think.

    • Bella Bella says:

Aniston was pretty good in Dumplin’. I wouldn’t pay money to see her in anything, though.

And I despise Adam Sandler and haven’t seen a movie by him in eons. He’s gross. And I agree with @gayle that Sandler seems to have made a pact with the corporate devil and convinced Hollywood that he is a bankable star.

    • Wishy says:

“She could be a decent actor if she would take more chances.” – There’s no doubt she can act but she does choose the safest route. And these Adam Sandler films do make money. Cake was a huge bomb; do you blame her? I’ve seen her in Derailed, The Good Girl (horrible treatment of a central character who had mental illness and the film wouldn’t work today), Cake, and Dumplin’.

  6. anp says:

An very overrated so called actress.

  7. Lenn says:

The trailers are so extensive these days..don’t really need to watch the movie anymore.

  8. StormsMama says:

Lord help me I will probably watch it
I laughed during the trailer 🤦🏼‍♀️
    I just find her enjoyable
Much in the way I love Goldie Hawn
    And Kate hudson

  9. Lila says:

I think skin care is fascinating. I can understand spending a lot on it if you’re someone like Lisa Rinna who has the money to play with. But honestly her surgery is so horrifically distracting that I wouldn’t notice if she had particularly great skin or not. Ay.

  10. Tiffany says:

John Singleton’s family just released a statement. They are going to take him off life support.

    *sigh*

  11. KidV says:

Is Lisa Rinna’s cost per year or month? Per year, it’s not that bad with all of the stuff she does. Per month is outrageous.

I added up my skincare costs per year, it’s $900. The biggest cost is my Vit C serum, which I’ll never give up. And I’m low-maintenance, I wash, moisturize and go. No masks, facials, botox, fillers, etc.

    • LisaPi says:

      Which serum do you use?

    • (THE OG)@Jan90067 says:

I can attest to “Vintner’s Daughter” Elixer and Serum. I have a *noticeable* difference in my skin tone. My dark spots have lightened and my skin just glows. I’ve had a lot of people comment on how good my skin looks, and asking what I use. Just these two products. My “foundation” is Channel CC cream, which already has 50 sunblock. I drive a convertible (not *always* with my hat on 😝, but I can *definitely* see the difference!)

  12. Raina says:

All Sandler and Aniston movies look dumb. I wait until those movies go on-demand, eat a lot of nasty shit and hate/enjoy myself.
At this point, I suspect they’re just funding their lifestyle. Cabo ain’t free bitches.
Still, I like her. And Angie. I like everybody lol.

  13. Tasha says:

Well, Adam Sandler’s in it, so….

  14. Harryg says:

Jennifer Aniston actually has a really nice voice. She was the mom in The Iron Giant, that’s when I noticed it.

  15. Other Renee says:

Yep movie looks stupid. By I gotta admit I laughed. It would be a fun thing to watch at home on Netflix.

  16. enike says:

I love her red dress, very flattering
the murder looks like some version of the orient express 🙂

  17. Lisa says:

Shame this movie could have been fun and campy. But it looks ridiculously bad. Like REALLY REALLY BAD.

  18. SJR says:

Adam Sandler has not been funny in 10+ years. There. I. Said. It.

He lost me at Jack & Jill. Lord, how he got Al freakin’ Pacino to show up for that piece of crud, I will never understand. Forgive Pacino, people, forgive him. He is Michael Corleone FFS.

For no logical reason, I admit that I will watch Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Cortney Cox, Lisa Kudrow in almost anything once it hits Amazon Prime or Netflix.
Kevin Nealon, David Spade, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Danny Ackroyd, Chris Rock, I will give it a look on streaming. But at the theater? At the cost? No.
Keanu Reeves gets my ticket money. Period.

But Adam Sandler should be required by law to give 1/2 the paycheck of every lousy flick he’s made to charity. Which would be a huge amount, IMO.

Btw, Matt LeBlancs, CBS show Man with a Plan….not bad. I actually laughed out loud at a few episodes. Joey! He will always be Joey! 🙂

    • Tiffany says:

I like Man With A Plan. I love the dynamic between the couple and love that his character is not a overgrown child who can’t do anything himself. And yes, I do and myself with the chuckles when I watch it.

    • lucy2 says:

I haven’t watched Man with a Plan, but Matt was great on Episodes.

  19. Ref7 says:

This took a hard nope at the inclusion of a Taylor Swift song.

  20. Jujumanji says:

You lost me at Adam Sandler. I only liked Aniston in Horrible Bosses and its sequel and the Breakup. She needs a really funny cast around her for me to find her tolerance le and Sandler ain’t it. ✌🏾

  21. Ali says:

She’s so familiar and not that great of an actress that it’s hard for me to forget I’m watching Jennifer Anniston play a character.

Adam Sandler is just no thank you.

I hadn’t heard about Santa Clarita Diet. 😥

  22. Anare says:

I watched the trailer and nope. I still can’t with Adam Sandler. Just not funny.

  23. SJR says:

Cancelling Santa Clarita Diet is a real shame.
One of the few original, creative, actually funny shows I’ve seen in quite a while.
Netflix you are wrong in this.

If Netflix cancels Peaky Blinders before it’s last season plays in USA…..I will cancel my Netflix.
Peaky Blinders is violent but Cillian Murphy should be stacking up awards for Best Actor in this role. Pulls you in, stays with you for days after watching it.
