While Jon Gosselin is “trying to concentrate on… family first” by hanging out with Michael Lohan in the Hamptons a couple hundred miles away, he’s not lonely. A source so close to Jon that Radar felt compelled to use the word “very” four times has confirmed that he’s still dating party girl Hailey Glassman along with possible ex-hooker and ex-tabloid reporter, Kate Major.
A source very, very, very, very close to Jon revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com that Jon is secretly still dating both Hailey Glassman AND Kate Major.
Hailey, 22, and Kate, 26, both thought they were in an exclusive relationship with the Reality Show Romeo.
Hailey went to France with Jon and then suddenly last week Jon took off to The Hamptons with Major, who soon announced they were romantically involved. They stayed at Michael Lohan’s house and she even quit her job as a reporter at Star magazine to pursue the relationship.
But this weekend, with Major nowhere in sight, Jon broke his public silence and said he and Kate are “just friends.”
That, however, is just a smokescreen. “He is a man going through a divorce and he’s trying to keep his personal life private,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
Asked if he was dating Hailey, Kate, both or neither, the source said: “He is choosing not to end anything with either woman. He’s dating and he doesn’t want to tie himself down.”
The source then admitted that Jon is deliberately sending out mixed signal publicly because he’s afraid that Original Kate (a.k.a. Mrs. Gosselin) is going to pursue a custody battle.
Defending Jon, one person who is friendly with him, said to RadarOnline.com: “Look , is there something wrong with a man going through a divorce dating any woman he wants?”
We could answer that with some comment about taking care of the eight kids he left behind, but we won’t. We have a feeling Kate’s lawyers are going to provide their own answer.

It sounds like the source is either Jon himself or Michael Lohan, who talked to Radar last week. Hailey seems like the type of girl who will grudgingly put up with some competition as long as she continues to get her picture taken for the tabloids. It’s not like she isn’t getting some on the side, either.
At least Michael Lohan has learned not to go on the record with his quotes about his good buddy, and it seems like he’s steering him in the right direction by not being photographed out with Kate during their little sleepover at his place. Someone needs to tell Jon what to do, because as Kaiser mentioned he seems completely incapable of doing anything other than partying and hanging out when there’s no one there to guide him. It’s kind of fitting that he hooked up with Michael Lohan. The Scientologists should go after him next – he’s an easy mark.

It’s always sad for the children when the parents divorce….just imagine doing it in the public eye with camera’s being around 24/7 when daddy acts like he is Hugh Hefner…hanging with buddies who aren’t exactly known for their own parental skills ?
Maybe Miss Lohan could’ve been in another place in her live when she had a good fatherfigure around ? It’s not only her mothers fault !
I don’t know Jon or his schedule but it doesn’t look like he takes the time to be a supportive and stable fatherfigure to his eight children when he’s hanging with trashygirls & M.Lohan all the time ?

I gotta give Jon just a wee bit of leeway here — Kate has been off on book tours, and publicity stints for a long time now, leaving the care of those eight kids mainly to him. Yes, he’s gone off the deep end a bit. Yes, his choice of pals is suspect (seriously, dude, Michael Lohan? What, was Joe Jackson unavailable to give crappy fathering advice?!). But maybe he just needs to blow off a little steam? If I had lived with Kate for the last ten years, I’d need a bender too. That said, there’s enough blame in this situation for ALL the adults involved. So no Team Kate or Team Jon, how about just Team Gosselin Kids, and advocate for their parents to pull their heads out of their collective butts and get on with the business of being parents.
If I recall season 4 Jon was saying that he doesnt want to be famous. He didnt want to be photographed when he went to hang out w/ friends & thats why he didnt want to return for season 5. Well obviously being in the limelight doesnt seem to bother him too much. Hes really being an ass. And He makes Kate look better each day, even if she truly is a controlling uptight shrew. I’m sure Kate had a controlling personality when Jon married her, but imagine the added pressure of 8 children and a husband who when left to his own devices hobnobs with the likes of Michael Lohan, a bisexual co-ed cokehead, and a tabloid reporter/prositute.
Kate’s controlling personality could only be multipled by the fact she was married to a complete loser who needed a minute to minute play by play on how to change a diaper, feed a baby, etc, etc. Jon never took the iniative to do anything but step out on Kate.
Personally, I’m sick of people acting like Jon and Kate are equally despicable in this situation. Kate went on a book tour for a month as a WORK commitment. Since she has been home she’s spent every minute with her kids! All Jon has done for the past 2-3 months is blow money in NYC, the Hamptons and the South of France… oh, and pose for paparazzi pictures with his nasty f-ck buddies, even though he hates the paparazzi sooooo much.

Everything Katherine Jaynes said!!! I really liked the show and yes kate is a shrew but while Jon seemed likeable enough he always seemed to treat his family as a chore to get through. And obviously Kate is seriously uptight, but all the little rules and schedules and such are the things that keeps the home running. Any mom knows that. And respect in a marriage is something that has to be earned and manintained and can also be lessened or lost. I guess I can understand how she ended up treating him like she did. Here here Kathryn Jaynes! I’d prefer not to see this couple in the news at all, however if I must, then I’d much prefer to see photos of Kate doing the real life every day chores of taking the garbage out, or playing with her children. She may be insane, but there is no doubt that she loves her children. Perhaps now that the “9th” child has moved out, she can actually enjoy the remaining 8. Though she may be lonely, being lonely in a relationship is far worse (IMO). She’ll do well as will her children.

At least he’s not still trying to exploit his kids for money. He did GET this fame because of the show, but he’s no longer actively exploiting the kids as she still is. i think the children need to hire an attorney to protect them from their parents and to protect the money that rightfully belongs to them before their parents spend it all.
