Why on earth would you take your own child to DERRY?????

I cant get over how much that clown looks like Carrot Top, only less scary. It ruins the movie for me.

  3. ChillyWilly says:

Wow…that looks scary AF and way better than Part 1.

  4. Mia4s says:

Eh. Looks scary I guess. But it’s no Cats trailer. 😏

Leo will do TV. Michael Douglas, Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, Cate Blanchett. The industry has seen a major shift. The narrative is starting to take hold that TV is where the “prestige” work is being done (largely true). He will want to get in on that.

I have no idea how I am gonna watch that at the movies. I’m soooo looking forward to it but at the same time I’m so not, lol.

I am just here for Bill Hader…and Bill Hader in glasses. I would “go to dinner” with that guy in a heartbeat.

  7. MangoAngelesque says:

For some reason I want to see Leo and Tatiana Maslany work together. TV or movie, just something. She’s amazing.

I am soooo looking forward to this – the 2nd half of the book was always the most scary part.

And sorry (not really), Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise can get it!!

    • Ang says:

Yes! The second half is the best because they are all grown adults and It comes back in more sinister ways. I really, really hope they don’t ruin the story with shock-value. Fingers crossed!

    • BeanieBean says:

My god that book terrified me. I can’t watch these movies. I saw the two-part movie on TV and that was wayyyy too much for me.

I’m a massive baby when it comes to scary movies, and I was so excited to see IT, but I was very disappointed.

I found it to be nearly cartoonish, almost like it was meant to be a movie geared towards young teenagers. I just didn’t find it scary at all. Even the special effects seemed very low-quality and just poorly done.

And I’m somebody who finds everything scary when it comes to movies. I couldn’t make it last the first ten minutes of the original Pet Semetary.

My husband felt the same way and he’s even more of a baby than I am when it comes to scary movies. I rented it on demand and told him to prepare to be terrified. When it was over we just kind of looked at each other and went, “Ok then” and moved on. What a dud.

  11. Deb says:

Natalia Dyer is giving me Amal Clooney vibes there

  12. Veronica S says:

Oh, I like it. I enjoyed the first one, so I’m hoping the second lives up to it. King’s work is really hard to translate to film, but this one was one of the more successful attempts.
