More proof that Adam Lambert is a star: he has his very own cyber-stalker

Like I always say, you’re nobody in Hollywood until the creeps come out of the woodwork and start stalking you. I guess “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert can now say he’s officially made it, because the singer now has his very own stalker. Not only is this dude obsessed with the sequined star, he has hacked into Adam’s e-mail accounts, and even contacted his friends. Say it with me: Cree-pee!

Scared out of his wits by a sicko stalker who’s making his life a nightmare, “American Idol” headliner Adam Lambert just hired private investigators to nail the evil creep, who’s not only hacked e-mail accounts, online blogs and voice mail – he’s even contacted the singer’s friends and attempted to defraud them.

“The stalker, who calls himself ‘Jose,’ acts like he is totally obsessed with Adam,” says an insider. “And what makes this assault on Adam’s privacy even scarier is that the guy’s in cahoots with a female accomplice, who’s passing herself off as ‘Lane,’ Adam’s real-life personal assistant. When friends reported the crooks had contacted them, Adam freaked! He immediately hired private investigators to track and apprehend the duo.”

Adam is certain that he isn’t in physical danger but he wants the creeps caught before the situation escalates to deadly levels – a la Paula Abdul’s stalker incident. He’s contacted all his friends, warning them that “Jose” and “Lane” have his personal contact list – and might try to con them into sending things like free movie and premiere passes, party invitations, etc. Stay tuned.

That totally sucks. I have a good friend who recently got all her personal e-mail accounts and social networking site pages hacked into – she is still trying to get to the bottom of it. She, too, hired an investigator, because the police don’t really care about hacking unless actual money has been stolen. The investigator tells her that nothing on the internet is truly safe, which is scary! He also said the good news is, it’s relatively easy to find hackers, since they leave a trail of data behind them. Anyway, I hope Adam finds these clowns and shuts down their little game.

In other Glambert news, Adam is rumored to be collaborating with Queen guitarist Brian May on a new song for the soundtrack of apocalyptic action film 2012. This is exciting, but not surprising, since May told the press that he was greatly impressed by Adam’s singing ability following their collaboration on the American Idol finale last season.

2012, an apocalyptic movie set for release in November, will feature a new song by “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert and Queen guitarist Brian May. Rob Cavallo, who produced Green Day’s American Idiot, also contributed.

“I have to say I was completely blown away … it’s truly sensational,” May wrote on his blog. “In fact it’s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding…I’m not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists … but Adam’s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. It’s an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star.”

[From Rolling Stone]

According to IMDB.com, 2012 stars John Cusack, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Danny Glover and George Segal and is “an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.” Oooooh. Can’t wait!

Adam Lambert is shown performing with Idols Live on GMA on 8/7/09

Could this dude wear anymore makeup if he tried??

  2. Karen says:

I just forwarded this story to one of my girlfriends! She has a healthy obsession for Adam Lambert but I figured I would send this as a warning that if she’s the stalker, the fuzz are on to her. Poor kid…I hope he’s able to find some relief from the hysteria.

P.S. What was the name of the winner again? I’m too lazy to Google it. I read enough press about Adam that I had no idea he was the runner-up!

Dude, he’s practically naked in the makeup arena, compared to what he usually wears.

Whatevah. He’s talented but he’s not all that, really. It’s like a feeling of inauthentic, his whole persona is a mishmash of every one that came before him; he doesn’t exhibit much originality to me. Before y’all slam me, to each his own; that’s why music appreciation is subjective.:-)

But, a stalker is bad juju, for sure. There are definitely some damned sickos out there.

He’s not the first idol/celebrity to have one, and he won’t be the last. Hope they stop them quickly.

Not necessarily true. Even then, they still don’t care.
Someone, somehow, hacked into my bank account and drained the entire thing. It wasn’t millions of dollars, but still!
They basically told me it’s extremely difficult to find hackers. Which tells me, they didn’t deem it important enough.

I love Adam and he should have won, make-up wearing and all. You don’t even hear anything about the actual winner – except that they dropped the song that Kara wrote or something like that (Oh! his name was Kris Allen)

Sooo happy that his career is taking off, can’t wait to get his album.

Hope that stalker is caught – that’s really sick, why can’t some people just let others live their lives in peace…geez. You can admire the guy but be an adult about it, you don’t have to be so creepy.

  6. Magsy says:

Is this love child from Elvis and Wayne Newton for real?

  7. lway says:

LOL!! WTF is that? He looks like something that climbed off the Star Trek ship with that hair and the amount of body putty on his face ……

  8. jouly says:
