The fact that a siting President is tweeting this 1 month before his bid for re-election speaks volumes about his mental stability.
I personally am starting to believe that Trump and the Republicans do not want to be re-elected. I mean look at the mess that they’ve left for the Dems to clean up (yet again).

Republicans are good at blocking things even when they’re in the minority. They love to play the victim and blaming game.
Every single time the Democrats cleans things up, the country puts the republicans back in office and they mess up everything again and then it’s the Democrats turn to clean things up again, rinse and repeat. It’s the USA that needs to change and make better decisions and that begins with the hard process of ridding ourselves of the Electoral College once and for all if Biden wins. If he wins, mark my words, the country will go back to sleep, the Repubs will win seats during the midterm election and win back the presidency in 2024 and whatever recovery has happened will be trashed.
If you honestly believe American politics is as simplistic as the good guy Democrats vs. the bad guy Republicans, you’re the one who is deeply asleep.

Senior voters are swinging hard for Biden, which is surprising, and makes this little stunt even more incredibly foolish.
I lived in IL for years and hope to move back soon and I just love Durbin. He’s a genuine good guy that says the obvious, the things we are all thinking, the common sense response to this shit show.
Just as a note, some wheel chair users have said they don’t like the “bound” or “confined” phrasing. The wheel chair is a tool, not a cage.
And Trump is awful. I don’t know if he’s aware, but people in their 80s and 90s vote too.
Bypassing the fool in the top story, I have to say that I heartily enjoyed Princess Margaret’s wedding photos and got a few lols from the captions; it wouldn’t have killed the cleavage lady to have had a wrap or scarf or something and I’m guessing she did but wanted a fuss and possibly a lawsuit; and Jessica Simpson should just be herself and not try for a quasi-Kardashian pose!

I read more details about the cleavage issue boarding the plane on another site. It seems like the lady wasn’t particularly trying to gain extra attention. She borrowed clothing from one of the desk attendants to get on. Her issue was the randomness of the rule enforcement and that no one could say exactly what the policies were. She has observed many men for example on same flight with barely any clothing as well. I think her attitude was questioning, surprised and cooperative (?)

Yeah, just fyi, most people in the disability community prefer wheelchair user to wheechair bound, to avoid the stigma around mobility aids, which give people freedom to move about and do a lot of stuff :D. (FWIW, I dont use a wheelchair but occasionally use a cane).
Take politics and power out of the picture.
Think of an everyday person who behaves like this guy. If he were your boss, neighbor, relative – you would want as little contact as possible. Why some people apparently cannot see that and vote accordingly is baffling.
Exactly!!! I’ve often said to my husband that I wouldn’t want to be around this guy for a second in real life and would’ve been able to sniff out that he’s the biggest d bag within seconds of meeting him. Why he can get away with so much is beyond comprehension and I need to stop driving myself insane trying to understand.
Totally agree. Trump supporters like him because he “tells it like it is”. I’m going to start telling it like it is with all of my Trump supporting family and friends. Let’s see how much they like me when they find out what I really think of them.
Let him continue with these cracks, they’re a great way for Trump to keep alienating the senior citizen vote.
He is exhausting. Close your eyes and try to picture the day when the world will not have to pause everything in order to indulge the tantrums of an orange baby. When we won’t have to worry about Trump sending terrorists to kidnap governors and attack peaceful protesters, or a bunch of anti-mask psychopaths to endanger the lives of our grandparents in Florida. When we will debate issues on their merits and not reduce our political views to “I just want the guy who won’t kill us all”. Sigh. I can’t wait.

As an armchair shrink I will just say that my mother ( who is older than Trump ) always hated old people and it is making her old age utterly miserable. So when he can finally no longer deny it ,it will be quite painful for him.
