On Friday it occurred to me that there were no good updates on Bennifer the entire week. It was weird! Considering how much interest there is in the reunion of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, surely “sources” would give weekly updates to People Magazine and Us Weekly, right? But it was complete radio silence… until Friday evening, when Bennifer went out to eat in Avra in Beverly Hills. According to photo agency Backgrid, Ben and J.Lo were trying to enter the restaurant through the quieter back entrance, only paparazzi swarmed them as they entered and exited. It looked like Ben drove them there, but then one of Jen’s security people drove them away. Apparently, they came in a Rolls Royce? Which means it was her ride, right? Does Ben have a Rolls? Oh God, was it the Rolls Royce which Ben gave J.Lo back in the day?!? OMG.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are continuing to enjoy their time together. On Friday evening, Affleck, 48, and Lopez, 51, enjoyed a date night at Avra Beverly Hills Estiatorio, a source tells PEOPLE. There, the pair dined in a private room for two hours.
“They enjoyed Mediterranean food in one of the private dining rooms. Jen looked amazing,” the source says. “They were both in a great mood. Ben always looks very happy when he is with Jen.”
Adds a source close to Lopez, “she spends as much time with Ben as possible.”
J.Lo’s manager Benny Medina shouting down the line at People, “Say that Jennifer looked amazing!” I mean, of course she looks amazing. She’s J.Lo. Anyway, I’m glad they presumably spent the weekend together and I’m glad they gave us some paparazzi photos. Seeing Bennifer swarmed by paps as they go in a restaurant’s back entrance… well, it’s very “eighteen years ago.” Jennifer looks so happy though, look at her. She looks relaxed and joyful. She’s thrilled to be back with Ben. God, I hope he doesn’t ruin it quite yet. I would love it if they made it through Thanksgiving. A Summer Bennifer and an Autumn Bennifer. The thing is, Ben has always been charming, funny and smart. But he’s also prone to fucking a good thing up. There’s the rub.
He must be HILARIOUS the way his ladies are always doubled over with mirth! Or it’s like written in to the dating contracts that they have to guffaw like hyenas whenever they are near him. (Or they are just laughing at the food stains on his clothes).
He’s an alcoholic, so, there’s that. Hope he stays sober. They both look happy, I’m loving this.

Maybe it’s staged, but they are still spending a decent amount of time together, for whatever reason. Only they know why. They’re adults, nobody is coercing anybody, so I say have some fun.
@ JayNay : Yes, it’s staged but hopefully they will use the time to catch up and renew the friendship. Talk about their kids, careers, go out for dinner, have Ben reconnect with her mother (apparently they were close). No harm, no foul.

I agree. She looks radiant! While I do think this is partly a circus for the paparazzi, the difference in her face with Ben vs Arod is startling. None of this “look at my smoldering face, we’re so in love BS posing”, she’s legit smiling and happy.
She does look genuinely happy and I hope that Ben doesn’t screw her over, again!! He is the one that is facing the tight rope, not her. If she is happy, that is what matters. But he better not repeat his last mistake with her, douche.

On other sites & pics, alot of commentators were saying that Ben does not look happy but JL really does! Now all I read after those comments ( in other artticles) were made in every article is how happy Ben is over & over again! I think the paps will eventually get to Ben. In some of the pics, Ben looks like he is already over all this, while jL is just embracing it!
Also, Ben has only been papped taking & picking up Sam. Violet has not been papped with him since JL sister’s b- day. ( not even at Sera’s graduation) & Sera hasn’t been papped with Ben since her graduation…

He does not look healthy at all in the pictures posted on x-17 from the same night that these were taken. She obviously has a reason to rewrite history either for publicity or to make a point to someone else.
He cheated on her and practically left her at the altar. He very quickly moved on to Jennifer Garner. He stated publicly that he fell in love with her on the set of Daredevil. He was engaged to J Lo at the time.

Lord, that manager is always with her. It’s kinda creepy with the extent of it. I think the one time she hasn’t been with him it’s because Ben made her fire him back in 2003 if I remember right. If he had to drive cause Ben had a drink (or two) then that’s a good thing.
It’s a train wreck waiting to happen IF you believe this is not just a J-Lo PR stunt that Ben went along with. Hopefully they are post-break up friends and this is a chance for them to catch and re-connect while Jen gets some good paparazzi stories.
I have been saying to myself from the beginning of this new Ben and JLo 2.0 he does not look healthy to me. I have worked with men with challenges with substance abuse and his appearance reminds me of them, just saying from experience. I know this comment will be deleted.

I’m glad Benny stopped running to the various outlets to give those constant updates. It was getting ridiculous. But why do they need to say anything with these? It’s funny how if we don’t see a couple for a week it’s like can they really be together if we aren’t fed photos and updates?

I’m so glad it’s not just me who can’t escape seeing this. Her baby hair situation has always been aggressive. I first noticed it when she did Carpool Karaoke and she kept reaching up to make sure it was patted down. Now it’s the only thing I see when I look at her photos.
I just find it all very cringe-worthy.
I’ve looked back over older videos of Jennifer and A-Rod, and, really, they were the best fit overall. He understood her drive and promotion of her brand. She helped him with his. One of Ben’s issues with Jennifer was she always had an entourage. I believe she said it affected her relationship with Marc also. Well, there’s A-Rod not adverse to any of it, out there promoting himself but also being a supportive mate in all of her endeavors.
For the Met, getting Jennifer ready was hours on end, and he was videoing parts of it. She had 69 people getting her ready. Sixty-nine! He deadpanned that he had no one helping him. One his vlog he was there at the Super Bowl supporting her big day performing, and, clearly, he had a close relationship with Emme. The same with her tour. He was on it filming and being interviewed and the children really seemed fond of him. They got each other and the need to support their individual brands all the time.
So actually A-Rod and Jennifer were the most compatible overall, except for the fact his pants couldn’t stay zipped. Ben’s can’t either, though. And Ben? He loves everything about Jennifer until it’s deep into the relationship and then he tires of the bigger-than-life lifestyle of J-Lo and her career, and I just cant see him being someone who is out there always supporting her. I see him becoming moody, as usual, and pulling away down the road. Ben has so many vices. He completely admires Jennifer and her drive and all of the endeavors she is in until it affects him. Do you really see Ben flying all over to be with her,like she would for him?
Here’s my new theory. They will still last a while. They are in the in-love stage and spending a lot of time together. Once their careers keep them separated more and more and Ben being moody when he feels guilty about his kids, will it die down? Will Ben relapse along the way when off filming somewhere ? And I could even see Jennfer, now reeling from Ben doing Ben and pulling away for good, running back to A-Rod. Because A-Rod seems to be playing a waiting game. Am I wrong? Could Jen run back to A-Rod if Bennifer implodes within a year?

I didn’t know Avra was trendy. I’ve been to their original New York location several times and the vibe was very yuppy. Food is great though.
Maybe the laughing pic with ana during covid was more genuine than it looked. Jen does seem really happy and I bet feels like she wants this to work more because her mom likes Ben so much too. Call me crazy maybe they should just keep doing this long term, when they have time off from work kids are with their exs they see each other. Lol@ these comments. None of you can tell by pictures alone if he’s drinking. I’ve barely seen anyone say he looks healthy ever on this site. Have there been reports of Ben drinking? Did he order alcohol at dinner? Ben gambling again is a huge red flag because a) it’s a red flag for him b) addicts shouldn’t tempt themselves at all & c) it’s not healthy. Time will tell if he’s relapsed or not. I look at these photos & say, it’s Affleck as his usual self.

I do feel sad. My ex was a functioning alcoholic. Ben doesn’t look well – looks like smoking is now the Vice and it’s taking a toll on his body and skin. This is where they really make no sense once the lust dies. I wonder underneath it all if they have a legit friendship from the younger years with added wisdom of age.
