I always knew he’d be surprisingly good at bedtime.

Tom can read bedtime stories to me any time. Day. Night. Whenever. Anytime can be bedtime! There doesn’t even need to be a bed available.

Also out today is the Making of Loki feature on Disney+. An hour of Tom talking about Loki.

Serious question: do the IG filters mask Tummy tuck/lipo scars? We know these women have endless procedures but how do they do that and wear next to nothing?

    • Anners says:

I’ve read that there are filters for videos now, so I just assume that anything the Karjenners put out has been tweaked to oblivion.

Tom Hiddleston’s voice and general kindness are such a relief after all the depressing nonsense going on in the world!

I was happy the gender-reveal people were being charged, but when I read the article, part of me wondered if they only reason was because they are Hispanic. From their foolishness, I’d assumed they were just white. Would they still have been arrested if they were?

    • betsyh says:

Yes, it was a fun video to watch. It is a relief to watch something uplifting.

    • Agirlandherdog says:

I actually wondered the same. Others have been charged in the past, and I’m not sure if anyone died in the wildfires caused by previous gender reveal idiocy. It needs to be done though. People need to know that there are serious consequences.

  5. Anners says:

Aw, Tom Hiddleston is always a delight! He’s quite as good as Jude Law at bedtime story reading. They can come over any time. 🙂

Also, that book is right – peas *are* the evil villains of the vegetable world.

  6. Nicole says:

I’m just here to say that I started watching Loki and I have a new found flame for Tom. Second, Mindy is so cute as the voice of Val in Monsters at Work.

  7. Case says:

Tom is very sweet and has the loveliest voice. I feel like I weirdly fell out of love with him throughout watching Loki and this promotional tour (too Tom’d out? Idk.), which is NOT what I was expecting to happen, but I generally appreciate what a lovely person he is.

  8. SusanRagain says:

    Mmmm, Tom.
I sub’d the youtube channel because lovely, british fellows reading bedtime stories = yes, please.
See also Tom Hardy reading btime stories.

Always wondered about celebrities reading bedtime stories. Do the parents hold up their computer or iPad and show the child in bed, the screen? Why don’t the parents just hold up a book and do the reading themselves? Seems a bit complicated.

    • ennie says:

Well, I’d push play and listen to him myself , not that I don’t have a child 😋

    • fluffy_bunny says:

I don’t think they’re meant for the children. Do children really care if Loki’s reading them a bedtime story? It’s for the mommies.

I’m a kindergarten teacher. There’s a smart board I’m my classroom. I have a quiet time after our big recess transition indoors where I turn the lights down and put storyline online on the smart board during that time. Students can watch, draw, have a snack, as long as they’re taking care of themselves quietly. Storyline online is such a great resource for this time when I’m not free to entertain the students while I help with puting coats up, hand washing and so on. It doesn’t serve as a replacement to actual storytime though. I imagine parents use these videos similarly at home. Though it wouldn’t surprise me if a child is just left alone in bed with an ipad and a video story, which saddens me very much.

      • Anne Call says:

Oh I totally get that. I used Mr. Rodgers and Barney for my own downtime with my kids and now use Peppa Pig for quiet time with my granddaughter. Just found the concept of it being a “bedtime” story funny.

My son LOVED watching Michelle Obama read books last year. He would say “is that lady going to read me a story today?!” And when Barack came on he was like “who dat man?”

Usually we would watch the episode 3 or 4 times then he would go find the book she had been reading and we would read it together several times. And if we didn’t own the book he just picked another. Of course right now his favorite is the “Annie Story” which is a random story that he made up and I must repeat several times a day.

Taylor Swift and I have shockingly similar taste in men. Many of her exes are guys on my laminated list. (Harry Styles, Jake G, Tom Hiddleston). I’ve learned the hard way from my therapist about what the men I am attracted to says about me…wonder what this says about HER? Ha.

  11. K says:

Change “surprisingly” to “obviously,” unless you’ve never heard the man speak.

    • Lightpurple says:

The Guardian once described his voice as “volcanic sand slaked in honey,” a fairly accurate description.
