2nd Lindsay Lohan burglary suspect (& alleged Lohan friend) turns herself in

F1 Rocks Singapore - Day 3
About a month ago, Lindsay Lohan’s home was burglarized and about $2 million worth of borrowed jewelry was stolen. Little else was taken, though – and the entire incident was enough to raise suspicions. Many thought that Lindsay had burgled herself – especially when a photo was released of one of the burglars, a female that seemed to look a lot like Lindsay. About a week and a half ago, one of the suspects was arrested, and it was a kid named Nicholas Prugo. At first, it looked like Lindsay might be in the clear – until sources claimed that Nicholas and Lindsay actually knew each other and hung out together. Some of us thought – “Hey, maybe Lindsay pulled the job with her friend.” Unfortunately for us conspiracy theorists, someone new has come forward to take the blame.

Her name is Rachel Lee, and she claims to be the second burglar caught on camera. The LAPD aren’t confirming as of yet that Rachel has turned herself in:

It looks like Lindsay Lohan has finally had a stroke of luck. A woman caught on camera while attempting to break into the Mean Girls star’s home has turned herself over to the police.

First the 23-year-old actress was offered a prestigious gig as artistic advisor to fasion house Emanuel Ungaro, now E! reports that Rachel Lee, the second of two culprits captured on tape, voluntarily offered herself to the LAPD on Sept. 18.

Nicolas Prugo, 18, one of the alleged thieves, was arrested on Sept. 17 in connection with break-ins to Lindsay’s Hollywood Hills home and The Hills’ hottie Audrina Patridge’s pad.

Lindsay’s house was burglarized last month by a young man and woman, who ripped a safe out of the wall and stole bags, shoes and jewelry.

In February, the same pair appeared to be breaking into 24-year old Audrina’s home, making off with several bags of her belongings.

The LAPD haven’t confirmed that Lee had turned herself over to authorities but are expected to make an official statement Monday, Sept. 28.

[From OK! Magazine]

It’s perfectly possible that Rachel and Nicholas Prugo pulled off this cracked-out heist with zero help from Lindsay, but the whole thing still seems fishy as hell, doesn’t it? Even if Lindsay wasn’t the second thief, that doesn’t mean that she didn’t know her burglars, or that she arranged the whole thing. Would anyone put it past her, knowing her history?

This is actually what a “friend” of Nicholas Prugo’s is suggesting – according to E!, a girl named Kelsey Schluter, a friend of Prugo’s, wrote on her Facebook page: “You don’t know the facts. Lindsay, Nick, and Rachel are all friends… It was an inside job. A safe was never stolen.” Cue dramatic crackhead music.

    that “outfit” is TERRIBLE.

    she looks like a stripper about to go on stage.

  2. Ash says:

    Her hair resembles those old witch halloween wigs that you couldn’t brush the tangles out if you brushed for years without ripping the hair out of it. AWEFUL

  3. Firestarter says:

    Every story I hear about this stupid creatin makes me hate her.

    She is as low as they come and I do hope that it turns out that she had something to do with it. Has that 2mil in jewelery ever been located? Funny how all this came at a time when she was facing prosecution by the place that stupidly loaned her the stuff.

    Trash, pure trash!

  4. Ruby Red Lips says:

    I actually like her outfit for once…

    She was so in on this ‘robbery’ – lets just see whether she can still afford the lawyers that would get her off…

  5. crash2GO2 says:

    tsk Firestarter, that would be ‘cretin’. If you are going to call names, it’s best to get it right. 😉 I’m teasin’ ya, I always enjoy your posts and usually agree with you spot on. But with Lindsay I can’t help but feel sadness and a kind of horror as we watch her circle the drain while her family does nothing. She serves as an example of what happens to children when their parents are not parents. Kids need boundaries, and it’s plain even now from the things that her parents say about her, that they set absolutely none for her. That unwittingly sends a message to children that they simply aren’t worth the bother, and Lindsay treats herself now, in the same way. She doesn’t bother to take care of herself, has no ability to delay gratification and plan for the future, on and on. All those things that parents are supposed to teach their children.

  6. skeptical says:

    wheren’t there 3 people caught on lindsay’s camera? the one dude and two chicks?

  7. Firestarter says:

    @Crash- I stand corrected. : )

    However, with Lohan, I agree to a point, but she isn’t a child anymore, and I have known people who have had atrocious parenting, have battled drugs, but have pulled themselves out of their holes by themselves because they knew that they had to. She doesn’t care enough about anything to help even herself. You can blame poor parenting up to a point, but at some time you start to have to take responsibility for yourself.

  8. Susette says:

    Firestarter, I usually agree with you, but I do have to cut her a little slack. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand the little waste of oxygen, but I can understand why she continues to spiral. I’ve known drug addicts who picked themselves up, too. They didn’t have Lindsay’s fame, though.

    If Lindsay was one of us, she’d have served jail time by now. Her drug problems would have caused alienation from her family and friends, she’d look worse than she actually does, she wouldn’t be able to hold down a job and she’d probably be homeless. In short, she would have hit rock bottom by now. Either she would have had to pull herself up and straighten out her life, or she’d be pretty much done.

    But Lindsay isn’t one of us. She’s a drug addict that’s shown constant instances of mental instability, yet she has a company that she promotes, she’s offered jobs, she has hangers on that tell her there’s nothing wrong with her, and she can afford $10,000 a month in rent. All the while continuing to face no consequences. Eventually, she may have to deal with reality, but it hasn’t happened yet.

  9. mollination says:

    @firestarter – I don’t even think she’s “pure” trash. She’s beyond “pure” anything, haha.

    You know, it’s possible that her “friends” had heard her talking about her 2 mil Jewels, and decided they should steal them. But given that this is the girl who stole a chick’s fur jacket – it’s much MORE possible that she helped them steal the jewels to benefit herself in multiple ways.

    If there’s one thing I know about addicts (and believe, this is one thing I do in fact know) they are selfish.

    If there was:

    1.) an opportunity for her *self* to gain, and

    2.)it helped her gain in multiple ways (gets to keep the jewels instead of returning them, makes 2 mil, and most importantly to the crackhead, gets a sh*tload of publicity), and

    3.)the opportunity seemingly presents no real downsides for the addict (short-term thinkers)

    then you can go bet all your jewelry the addict definitely pounced on this opportunity.

  10. crash2GO2 says:

    Oh, I’m not making excuses for her. But it doesn’t make it any easier for me to watch her spiral. And I’m not quite sure where your hatred comes from. Has she hurt you personally?

  11. Ruby Red Lips says:

    Crash2G02, to join in, not sure that you can say its hatred and I think that people can develop strong feelings for people that they read about w/o the person having done anything personal to them.

    Lohan is an obnoxious spoilt brat with no parenting and an inflated sense of self-worth, alongside a drug and alcohol problem – not much to like there is there really…

    I agree with Susette re her point about Lohan not being one of us and therefore her life and treatment by others, including seemingly the law, being on a different level.

  12. Firestarter says:

    @Mollination-LOL! Fanatastic comment! Tee hee.

    I guess I am just very rooted in my position because I have dealt with an addict and after having dealt with one, I am so out of sympathy, when not all addicts are the same.

    Yes, it is sad and not fun to watch someone spiral out of control especially when they had it all at one time. She needs Papa Spears to take over and get her straight!

  13. Ashley says:

    Please it was her dealer looking to get paid. I don’t believe for one second that she’s innocent in all of this. That crackhead “borrowed” more than she was worth and her dealer came looking to collect. She probably refused his calls (we all know she’s broke as a joke) so he decided to take it into his own hands. He probably visited enough times to know where the goods were and how to get into her home. Crackheads can be a little loose with their information when they’re high.
