The costumes look deranged. The songs do too. Its staring a known racists…
This is gearing up to be a hate watch (pirated so they don’t get the numbers) for the ages!

    • SaySo says:

Yep, I only recognize one Cinderella, and that’s the one that has Brandy and Whitney Huston. lol

      • Nina says:

Sorry, for us olds it’s Lesley Ann Warren! and the OG prince charming, Stuart Damon, RIP.

  2. Cait says:

Why does this racist marginally talented women keep getting work? I mean she had and entire Tumblr devoted to anti-blackness. Camilla has shown us who she is .

    • Nicole says:

And yet Billy Porter is cast as the Fairy God Mutha. I would love to hear the tea on that job.

      • Cait says:

Are you under the impression Camilla has something to do with casting ? Cause No. She made Norman’s life hell when they were in that group together. Racist are much more hostile to women because they know they can get away with it and as a whole fear women less. Billy is a grown man at the end of the day .

  3. emu says:

I like the switch of the stepma wanting Cinderella to marry him to “solve their problems”

  4. Becks1 says:

Who is Camilla? Is the one dating Leo? Why dont we like her? I should probably google…..

    • teatea says:

she was in a girl group called 5th harmony….shes dating shawn mendes another pop singer and she’s hated because she’s a racist

  5. Nev says:

    Why her?
She had a dancer in blackface on her latest project last week!!!!
    Enough of her.

  6. katie says:

Garbage person makes a garbage movie, what else is new?

  7. Isabella says:

Camilla is famous from a girl band. Not with Leo. He only dates models, I think. Camilla is over the age of 20 so not his type.

  8. Lara says:

Joel kinnaman is so cheesy looking, especially with his awful and much younger VS model on his arm. He’s also a terrible person.

  9. SpankyB says:

I thought John and Bo were already married. I like them as a couple.

  10. goofpuff says:

    Pierce Brosnan looks soo….wow.

But they’ve done many cinderella remakes with a modern cinderella (“Ever After” and “Ella Enchanted”). This one looks like a disaster though.

    • BeanieBean says:

I had to google that, I didn’t recognize him! For some reason, I thought that was Brolin jr. And I think that was Minnie Driver, too? It kinda looks like campy fun in spite of its problematic star.

  11. Pocket Litter says:

Joel Kinnaman looks v nice in that suit. Tasty even.

Neither tots not pears to L Graham.

  12. Darla says:

I clicked on the Kinnaman link expecting something awful. You and i must have different definitions of terrible because yes please!

  13. August Rain says:

I don’t know about hate-watch… I’m forced to admit that in the 21rst century it is still ground-breaking to have a heroine think about work, and a life in high society as a potential obstacle for it. Also the power suit had me cackling tonteemos regret her not wearing it to the ball. But it is still a vivid image that stays. And image is everything!

Ps: plus I am sure Meghan Markle will watch the hell out of it. There are cross-overs with her life for sure…

  14. jferber says:

Don’t know much about her, but I liked the trailer. I thought the English-accented white prince was unnecessary, especially if they want to update the story. Idina Menzel seemed great and I did like the dance number and all the bright colors. About the sleepy eyes, maybe that’s just how her face is? And Billy Porter is EVERYTHING so I have to watch it for him and the super-talented Idina Menzel (who was married to a black man). Honest question: if a bigoted person (I don’t know her story, so let’s just say she is) is in a show with talented and wonderful people, what are you supposed to do? Watch or don’t watch?

  15. Seraphina says:

It is flat out bonkers and sadly, I will watch. Plus, I have to admit, it look like it will be fun to watch with drinks and good friends.

  16. Keri says:

Ugh, refuse to watch this racist idiot in anything. Why does this untalented bully keep getting work? She devoted her social media to hating Black and Asian people. She and her fellow racists like Marky Mark should have been cancelled a long time ago.

  17. Lala11_7 says:

I will NEVA forget the foul racist memes and jokes she had on her account…the LEVEL of hate she posted on there was BREATHTAKING

  18. Ann says:

I had no idea she was a racist, ugh. When I first saw the trailer I thought it looked fun and I like that she’s got ambition. Anything to wash away the taste of the 2015 Disney Cinderella which I hated. That version of Ella was such a victim and it was all so sappy and cheesy. I did love Cate Blanchett, though.

No version of Cinderella will ever beat Ever After, for me. Drew Barrymore’s heroine was the perfect blend of strong and soft, of romantic and realist. And I loved the angel wings outfit at the ball, it was so ethereal.

Oh well. I might watch it and kind of enjoy it while hating its star. She’s not the only one in it.

  19. LRobb says:

I don’t get the negatives around this release. The trailer looks loads of fun and the cast looks great. I think CC is very talented so I hope the film does well.

  20. August Rain says:

Did CC address her racist posts? I have a vague recollection that she did? My memory of it is that she was a kid when she had that mindset and that her adult self got educated. It happened to so many people like Eminem, Stormzy (who did a very convincing explanation and official apology to gay people) and others. We have to give space for people to grow – but then people have to grow…

I came across a few tik-toks where she was being bullied for not being super slim and she has been posting about positive female body image in response to that.

  21. JesusChrist says:

Camilla is a mistake but Billy Porter as the God mother may drag me in.

  22. Annaloo. says:

If there is never another story on Camilla Cabello, that would be FINE BY ME

  23. Marie says:

Why. Is. James. Cordon. In. Everything????

  24. FF says:

Hate watch what? I’m glad Billy Porter got a paycheck but I’m not wasting any of my lifetime on any vehicle for a virulent racist, let alone a Cinderella one: hardest pass on earth.

I notice how no one on here is saying she should have been fired or replaced. Funny how quickly some can jump on that when the problematic star is a black woman.

  25. Haylie says:

No. Because Camilla Cabello is an anti-black racist.

I swear, trash as he is, DaBaby caught a raw deal this past week. Look at all the shit white people can get away with and still get big bucks.

    • Imara219 says:

DaBaby has been violent towards Black women and aggressive with the elderly but now his actions are crossing the line. It’s as of Black women can be assaulted without impunity because society and entertainment business doesn’t care about Black women. DaBaby can be anti-Black and reap the rewards but only get penalized now. Let’s me know where Black women stand.
