Obviously, Caitlyn Jenner believes that states have the right to ban abortion

caitlyn campaign

The California gubernatorial recall election is next Tuesday. See You Next Tuesday Caitlyn Jenner is “running” for governor. Sort of. It’s kind of a part-time campaign for her, and she mostly just does vague things like “golf” and “have lunch” and “do an interview every so often.” Caitlyn is not pounding the pavement and begging Californians for their votes. But she likes attention, and of course there are always media outlets willing to give her that. Take CNN, which has given a platform to Caitlyn multiple times in recent months despite the fact that Cait has barely polled over 6% this summer and is currently polling around 1%. Still, Californians are voting, which is why Cait appeared on CNN today and barfed out these words about reproductive choice and the state of Texas:

If Texas made a law banning transgender Americans from seeking medical treatment, you can bet that Caitlyn would not be shrugging her shoulders and talking about states’ rights. But because Texas made a law marginalizing half of its population when it comes to healthcare and it doesn’t affect Caitlyn, she doesn’t really give a sh-t.

She also referred to undocumented immigrants as “illegals” in this same CNN interview. Lord, get her off the air.

Ugh she’s utter trash, I can’t with her

  2. Merricat says:

    She’s a total hole.

  3. ME says:

    What a hypocrite.

    • Wiglet Watcher says:

      The worst.

    • Otaku fairy says:

Yep. Every community has them. There are individuals who want *just enough* progress for themselves, and that’s it. They don’t care about, and are happy to actively sabotage other marginalized people whose basic needs may differ from their own. Caitlyn has shown herself to be another example of this kind of person.

    • candy says:

That pretty much sums it up.

  4. Mac says:

Caitlyn is a non-serious candidate and has zero chance of being elected. Why is anyone giving her air time?

P.S. An ad for a fake abortion clinic popped up on this article.

    • Merricat says:

The spectacle of her privilege and unironic hypocrisy?

    • Lady D says:

Someone is pretending to be an abortion clinic to trap women who want/need an abortion? I know I shouldn’t be surprised at this disgusting tactic, but this is bad. How does someone even come up with this sick kind of idea? What kind of person are they?

    • The Recluse says:

You can ‘block’ those ads by tapping to close them and when the bot asks you ‘why’ tell them it was inapporpriate.

  5. olliesmom says:

    Idiot.

  6. girl_ninja says:

This person does not deserve the attention they receive. She is hateful and spread nothing but negativity. She isn’t qualified to speak on anything that she’s asked about.

  7. milliemollie says:

Rich Republicans like her will always have access to abortions no matter what the law says.

    • Haylie says:

Caitlyn Jenner will never need an abortion because she has never in her life had a uterus, ovaries or Fallopian tubes. She has always been self centered an reckless with other people’s lives. Of course she doesn’t give a duck about women’s reproductive rights. Not before transitioning and not after.

      • TisMe says:

        @Haylie….EXACTLY!!!!!

      • pottymouth pup says:

ahhh but her daughters & granddaughters, as well as the mistresses/daughters/granddaughters of the rich, will always be able to have a physician perform a D & C abortion and bill it to their insurance as being needed to remove fibroids

      • Julia K says:

Reply to pottymouth; back in the day before Roe v Wade we called them Therapeutic D and C to remove retained tissue.

    • The Recluse says:

Caitlyn has never been in danger of needing an abortion, but those she has had sex with has.

  8. HeatherC says:

The base she is playing up to is the same base that denies transgender rights. Denies that transgender exist. Would heartily deny that Caitlin Jenner should be considered a woman.

  9. Noki says:

    The biggest walking contradiction Ever!

  10. Amy Bee says:

What a way to squander your platform. She’s a terrible person.

  11. JRenee says:

Gender identification changed, the inside is still self absorbed, self serving and selfish.

  12. Lunasf17 says:

She is awful. So privileged and entitled. She gets to transition as a woman because of all her money and privilege but doesn’t deal with the burden of having a reproductive system controlled by men like many women do or actually risk having an unwanted pregnancy. I hope she shuts up and goes away. Nothing she says is relevant.

  13. L4frimaire says:

The GOP base will never accept Jenner because she is transgender. Doesn’t matter how backwards and destructive her views are. After seeing the mess in Florida and Texas with the surging Covid cases and deaths, and the ban on abortion with that snitch law, I hope enough Californians have the sense to vote NO on this recall. The recall process needs to be reformed. Not only do they want to recall the Governor, but in San Francisco, they want to recall the school board and the DA. A lot of the people behind these recalls are either newly arrived on the political scene with shady motives, and very anti-progressive. It’s just arbitrary and should have stricter parameters to enact, not because you’re pissed the Governor ate at the French Laundry. The next gubernatorial election is in 2022 and the GOP know they are at a disadvantage, so trying to get in through the recall.

  14. lucy2 says:

Caitlin remains only interested in herself, and unable or unwilling to care about anyone else. It’s gross.

The tweet about will all the candidates get equal airtime is spot on.

  15. Snappyfish says:

I watched the CNN Interview. She called humans illegal, she said she believed in states rights and that if TXwanted their abortion law then that was the right so I’m assuming if TX wanted to bring back slavery that would be their right as well. To call Jenner moronic is an insult to morons everywhere

  16. molly says:

This does not apply to you, Caitlin, STFU!!!!!!

    • Christine says:

It actually does, and that’s what makes her all the more awful. The same people that want an end to abortion would not support her if she were their child, but somehow, that hasn’t occurred to her.

  17. Cessily says:

I do not care what some one born without a uterus has to say about mine..

  18. Wendy says:

I remember her being on The Ellen Show and stating she doesn’t agree with same-sex marriage. She is just the worst who cares only about herself. It’s a good thing other people care about the rights of others and would fight to protect her rights. On the show, Ellen was pretty well speechless. What do you say to that hypocrisy.

  19. schmootc says:

    Shut your piehole, lady!

  20. MissMarirose says:

She’s such an idiot. An absolute moron.

  21. Mimi says:

    She’s such a hypocrite moron loser. I can’t with her I just can’t

  22. Leah says:

Caitlyn is completely ridiculous in her views and so out of touch. If she hates this deep blue state so much why doesn’t she move to conservative red Florida, or Texas or anywhere below the Mason-Dixon Line. She wasn’t even born in CA, so she’s not native born and has no attachment to the state in that way. Wiki says she was born in NY. She said her neighbor pal who owned an airplane was moving somewhere because he saw some homeless people, dunno to where seeing as there are homeless people everywhere. Running away doesn’t help people, Richie rich.

I am upset because this recall was a terrible waste of money and for what. The GOP could have waited for when Newsom was up for election again instead of trying to sneak in with 46 randoms who have no government experience but that would be asking too much of them to play fair. I love this state, I was born and raised here and I don’t want it to turn into a magat hellscape due to weird recall rules.

    • MoonTheLoon says:

Because some sore loser (John Cox) Trumper needed his ego avenged. The GOP just saw an opportunity to try and regain a foothold here and pounced with teeth bared. There’s just enough morons here to give it the traction it needs. They’re well aware that liberals tend to sit things out because we figure there’ll always be enough of us. Nah. If you don’t want the GOP to re-take this state, get your ass out and vote. With mail-in ballots, there’s no longer any excuse not to. I don’t consider Newsom our very best. But he’s done a damn good job with what he’s been handed so far. The only way out is through.
