Last night was the New York premiere for Don’t Look Up, the star-studded ensemble film directed by Adam McKay. It premieres on Netflix this coming weekend and I’m looking forward to seeing it. It looks like an enjoyable comedy and you can’t argue with the cast. Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio are the “leads,” they play scientists who discover the comet which is about to hit earth and kill everybody, leading to huge shenanigans. Leo honestly looked a bit nervous to be photographed with a heavily pregnant woman. There was panic in his eyes. Leo, it’s not yours!!
J-Law wore Dior, a customized gown to accommodate her pregnancy. It’s been a while since we’ve seen her in a Dior gown and this is one of the better ones. That sheer fabric isn’t a cape, those are just fabric panels which are supposed to look sort of like “sleeves.” The dress is very glittery and well-made and Jennifer looked elegant. I’m sure her feet hurt! This was her first premiere in two years. Her jewelry is Tiffany & Co.
There weren’t many solo pics of Meryl Streep, but her dress is Marc Jacobs. Jonah Hill is blonde and shirtless (but not jacket-less) and he attended the premiere with his girlfriend Sarah Brady. Florence Pugh isn’t in the film, but I guess she wanted to see it because she turned up at the premiere too. She wore an insane Dolce & Gabbana ensemble which was totally wrong for New York in December. Bonus: Kid Cudi wearing teddy bears on his feet.

J-Law’s dress is one of my favorite red carpet looks I’ve seen on anyone in a long, long time. It’s so glamorous, sparkly, and and classic! I love the cape, I love the color, and I feel like it would work just as well as a non-maternity dress.
I like it a lot as well although a slightly lower scoop-neck would have been nice. She’s so covered in material and the clavicle is so lovely on any woman. But she looks amazing as is.
Agreed; absolutely beautiful; instant classic, and the styling is perfection.
I also love that Jonah Hill appears to just be living his best life, and I like seeing how happy and stylish he looks (although I always recommend shirts, with everything he’s been through body-image wise, I love seeing him feel confident and comfortable.)
JLaw looks beautiful. The whole look is amazing. Jonah should have been asked to step to the side. He’s ruining the photos.

Jennifer looks great but Florence looks awful
She looks absolutely lovely… from the neck down. I really don’t like the hair at all and the makeup is meh.
I hate those shoes!!! They are not stylish or good looking to any event!! I am short too, I understand, but NO on those shoes!!

I don’t even know who Florence is, but that outfit is horrendous. Absolutely classless and it looks even more vulgar compared to Jennifer.
Leo looks yucky and bloated, per usual. He gives me the heebie jeebies with his young woman obsession knocking on the door of 50. It is simply creepy. It’s a shame he has no appetite for a normal life, with a lovely wife and beautiful children. So sad. I suppose the clubs, coke, models and endless booze are what “fulfills” him.

It’s not my cuppa, but there is nothing vulgar about Florence’s look, nothing hanging out, nothing sheer. It may not be “appropriate” in the eyes of many for the occasion, but calling out her outfit as vulgar seems overkill. She’s a young woman with a very fit figure and her legs and abs look terrific.
I agree Josephine! Plus she had the sense to include a coat that buttons up so she won’t freeze. I like forethought in starlets!
I agree it’s not vulgar. It’s an odd choice for a premiere when the stars are wearing formal evening wear, but not vulgar.
This, it just doesn’t seem to go with the event.
So Meryl Streep is wearing a turtleneck & tights with a shower curtain over it? I think it’s cute that Jonah & his girlfriend are wearing the same suit, but it looks like a summer suit, not a winter-in-NYC suit. I bet they envied Kid Cudi’s footwear!
I love Florence’s new piercing. She is a hot woman but this outfit is a huge no.

Leo and Jen together looked uncomfortable. They’re both great actors and look like they had chemistry in the film (based on the trailer), but nothing IRL.
When he was young, Leo looked like young Norman Lamont. Now he just looks like Norman Lamont. Leo it is time to grow up. Date someone in your age bracket, get comfortable with pregnant women. You are officially a creepy old man now. You can’t do much about the “old” but get to work on fixing the “creepy”!
I did not recognize them in the photos last night. First I thought “ok, a couple”, then when I read people talking about him I thought “wait, that’s Leo? His girlfriend is pregnant?” and then I remembered he is with Camila. Didn’t know that was Jennifer until now. Both of them look uncomfortable.
The trailer of the movie made it seem like it’s all over the place, but I’ll still watch it.
I like Jonah’s look! Minus the hair, but really like his shoes! Finally men are having more fun in red carpets!

Leo has at least cleaned up for once, but man has a lot of lot of his partying caught up to him in the last few years. It’s really striking what a difference five years can make in aging.
Just a small correction – the film is not out on Netflix this weekend. It has a theatrical release this weekend and doesn’t come out on Netflix until December 24.
Florence can pull off the outfit but wrong place and time. It’s like showing up to someone else’s wedding in a head-turning ensemble, IMO. Jennifer looks lovely. Leo’s face is a hot mess now but at least his clothes are classic and stylish. I think Jonah looks ridiculous there.

So according to Deuxmoi Leo was in Miami partying it up this weekend with his ex Nina Agdal. Sure, they can be friends, but he’s spending a lot of time away from Camila. Either they have an open relationship, or she’s not really his gf.
And I have a feeling Timothee Chalamet was suppose to attend this, but got stuck in London shooting Wonka?
They had to shut down the filming because of a covid-19 breakout, and then push the filming forward into December.
Knowing Timothée is a bit of a playboy, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the reason for the covid breakout. Deuxmoi also reported weeks back, that someone had met him and a some girl in the elevator of a hotel in september (or was it october?), where he was bragging (to the girl) about not passing the sobriety test on set..
I’ve said before that once people can travel and party again Camila will be out. Leo didn’t want to be alone during lockdown but she’s definitely not “the one” the media is making her out to be.

Exactly milliemollie. There was a private screening of Don’t Look Up in Los Angeles couple weeks ago and Camilla was with Leo. Then a few days later, he celebrated his birthday at a party at his place in Los Angeles and Camilla was there as well. I admit to reading Deuxmoi but take it with a grain of salt.
I follow Deuxmoi as well and I find it quite entertaining, but like 95% of it is made up by trolls. It’s not People Magazine, Deuxmoi doesn’t have “sources”. Sometimes they have luck, but mostly they get trolled.

I thought Jonah was wearing a weird print shirt under his suit. The reality is…worse.
That chest tattoo endears him to me a little. IDK why. He’s got body image issues, struggles with his weight, is being towered over by everyone in that photo, but that personal style, the blue suit and visible chest tattoo, just says “I am who I am.” I kinda love it.

Geez, so harsh on Jonah Hill. He looks fine, and, more importantly, happy. You don’t have to be tall or tattoo-free or thin to enjoy taking some risks with fashion. Not everyone will love it, but that is his laidback surfer style.
I would feel the same way about a tall skinny tattoo-free guy wearing that outfit, I think. But honestly some things are just not flattering on some people. Tall skinny guys shouldn’t wear suspenders, for example. It makes them look clownish.
