For decades, King Charles has insisted that his second wife is his soulmate and the only one who can stand beside him as queen consort. And every time people get a good look at Camilla away from the “Project Camilla” palace keenery, everybody realizes that Camilla is terrible. Terrible at being queen, terrible at representing the UK, terrible at doing the basics of soft diplomacy and courtesy. Well, Camilla has never traveled well, but it’s gotten worse as she’s gotten older. That’s the real reason why Camilla didn’t join Charles last week for the first five days of his Caribbean Flop Tour – as bad as it was for Charles, it would have been so much worse if Camilla was there. Palace staffers would have been putting out fires left and right. It’s bad enough that Camilla joined Charles over the weekend in Antigua and Barbuda, and upon her arrival, she staggered off with the king’s umbrella in the middle of a tropical storm. Well, a new video of Camilla’s weird behavior is making the rounds:
Is something MEDICALLY wrong with Camilla…has she been drinking? There is no end to her BIZARRE behaviours.
First, she shakes this woman’s hand and doesn’t even bother to look in her direction. APPALLING.
Then, she discards her SHOES? Where does she think she is? Everyone there is capable of walking on sand. Her heel is barely 1” off the ground. Could she not have worn flats? She starts to STARE OFF into space. Then doesn’t know what to do with her silly umbrella.
She’s supposed to be representing Britain and she’s behaving like she’s on holiday.

Granted, it’s a solid possibility that Camilla IS drunk at any given moment. But I also think she’s just rude and pissed off that she’s not at Ray Mill with a G&T. To just hold out her hand and turn her head so she’s not even looking at a Black woman? Insane. And the part where she kicks off her shoes and leaves them to be picked up by someone else is bonkers. As many have pointed out, if the Duchess of Sussex behaved this disgracefully in public, it would be headline news for weeks, with the Daily Fail pulling in all of their columnists to do special coverage.

Remember the aging actresses lament? Once I was a Tour de Force and now I am Forced to Tour !
Poor Cam, any offers of panto yet for the ultimate wicked stepmother?
Looks like Patsy Stone on vacation.
Her lopsided face looks like she might have had a stroke, or multiple strokes – but if that’s the case why is she drinking alcohol? Whatever. Her behavior has always been abominable.
Her head was shaking in that video.
Looks like she doesn’t like being around black people.
All those years of spin of the great love story. He gets the wife he deserves and she has raymill to get away from him. I think she likes the dress up events the most the way keen does
He made it clear he didn’t want a wife who overshadows him. He even managed to marry one who makes him look good by comparison.
NGL, she looks a mess. And behaves incredibly rudely. I’m sure there’s got to be some royal protocol about keeping your shoes on during an event! 🙃
The fingertip “handshakes” and turning away from the second woman – terrible. Remember the clip of her visiting a school and she picked up the little girl’s arm by grabbing her sleeve? Because I do. At least Charles actually shakes hands with people.
Hard to say if she’s half in the bag, has something else wrong with her, or both. Why did she even go?
Still remember when she wouldn’t touch a young black child at an event and used her fingertips to barley touch her sleeve instead of her skin.
I do think that she is extra rude when these travels include people of colour. She was shockingly rude in Kenya as well.
This is, after all, the woman who enjoys blackamoor sculptures in her home.
The blackamoors belonged to Margaret.
That particular… peculiarity runs in the family.
The interior designer known as Annabel Elliot is infamously putting these… things everywhere and then some.
As to Camilla’s behaving strangely — someone who was there for the speech from the throne last year in Ottawa for the opening of the 🇨🇦 parliament was adamant that Side Piece was more than just half in the bag.
Ok, so why are they still there?
@Harriet, I don’t know why Camilla would have blackamoor statuettes belonging to Margaret at Ray Mill. Those belong to Camilla.
@nanea, Elliot is Camilla’s sister. It runs in the family.
It’s been some years now, but I remember seeing an interior picture of Ray Mill that included what I recall as large blackamoor lamps. Did a search assist on Google which came up with the info “Ray Mill House is known to have featured blackamoor lamps among its decorative elements”, though I couldn’t find the picture I remember. Don’t always take Google at face value, but in this case, it coincides with what I remember.
Doesn’t matter who the lamps may have belonged to – they were at Ray Mill.
Having seen personal photos of the main entrance of Camilla’s home, yes, there is a large blackamoor statue situated in the foyer where no one could miss it. AFAIK, Margaret did not own anything like this. You may be thinking of Princess Michael of Kent.
Maybe charles wanted to promote happy families spin and insisted she go.
She looks like a mess, acts like a mess and couldn’t even keep her flat shoes on because she has no balance over the sand. Crazy lazy cam. She has no class, no manners and no respect , but let’s not act surprised and pretend we didn’t know.
This looks like early stage dementia. The filters drop, there is more anger and rudeness. I wonder if she has been diagnosed yet.
Once you’ve seen it in people close to you, it’s harder not to see it.
Some of my family members and older friends have it. This looks like dementia on the world stage.
This exactly! I’m no fan of Camilla’s but this looks more like dementia than anything else. I’m seeing it up close with a parent and it’s awful and sad to witness. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone and do wish people were more educated about the signs and more compassionate in giving people displaying these symptoms the benefit of the doubt based on that. I see the cruelty and dismissiveness with which my parent’s attempts to navigate the world and interactions are met and it makes me profoundly sad. But everyone thinks it won’t happen to them or a loved one. The truth is women are at greatest risk. I’m not defending C here but I am saying look for the signs.
Loss of balance could be down to old age rather than drunkenness as well. A common cause of broken bones in the elderly.
Thank you for your comments. I have no interest in any of these people, but I do wish we could all stop rushing to judgement, and make room for a little compassion and understanding. It is heartbreaking to see dementia taking hold of a parent or other loved one. Let us try to be a little more open minded and understanding. The world would be a better place.
I hope I’m wrong and she’s not as crass as she seems, but at the same time, I prefer her crass vs having dementia. I can guarantee you that if she was officially diagnosed with dementia, they probably will not allow her to follow him around the world like this. Or Cam has not being seeing the royal doctors or are they not specialized enough for this type of diagnosis
I will have compassion for Camilla when she stops treating Black people like lepers, and chucks out her blackamoor lamps. I’m not holding my breath.
Unless her condition, whatever it is, improves I don’ t expect to see her doing events again anytime soon.
She may have early stages of dementia but her rudeness during royal tours of predominantly black countries isn’t new. She’s the one who required a carpet to walk a few steps during the same tour that she rudely stayed in the car as Charles interacted with the people during one of their tours. She’s the same woman who laughed at the black performers while entering Commonwealth Day service and then rushed past Charles to enter the church as he at least stood there to watch the performers. I also recall her rudely laughing at performers during another royal tour but it was overshadowed by Will and Kate’s Ryder and more disastrous Caribbean royal tours.
Wasn’t she also caught laughing at the black choir during H & M’s wedding?
Sometimes I scare myself when I recognize the depths of my rage. I pray I do not get dementia, because if filters drop and the rage seeps out, I could become She-Hulk.
Oh, this broad is absolutely racist, but she also is acting like her frontal temporal lobe is shrinking. Taking her shoes off like she is at home is wild. Just walking away after getting that umbrella. Her racism is going to be even more transparent now, and they will start to limit her exposure if she gets diagnosed. The problem with dementia is that you have to test, and people pass the tests all the time until they suddenly don’t.
I was trying to respond to Nerd. Sorry, Gail.
@Gail, I too fear what I would be with dementia and without filters. I’m pretty boring, but I have… opinions, lol.
I have never been her fan either, but this vid clip pinged in my head as well with remembered early symptoms of my Mom’s Alzheimer’s onset.
Exactly this Deborah, and everyone who has mentioned dementia: I hadn’t clocked it in the umbrella video, but it was my first thought on seeing this. (Ask me how I know 😢)
Yes, this does look like the early stages of dementia. Sadly I just watched my mother-in-law go through the stages.
Her mind was elsewhere while shaking the woman’s hand, and throwing off her shoes, not aware of the moment.
And the confusion with what hands to hold the umbrella in and the look on her face and disorientation. I think Chuck’s familiar with this.
It also makes the other umbrella walk-away situation make a little sense, hence more disorientation and unawareness… just focusing on whatever they need right then.
My mother-in-law also would keep slamming her wine, and would become SO angry if she didn’t get it. (so we topped it with water)
Also she was a public nurse, and befriended and mentored ALL people. A couple times made racist comments and nobody could believe she was saying them or where they came from. It was so confusing and awful.
Reading everyone’s comments re; Cam (and re-watching the video) DOES make it look sadly similar, I didn’t piece that together at first. I just thought she was a shrew. Maybe it is a combo…
Yes, that was my first thought as well — signs of dementia.
She’s been showing signs of dementia since at least the Rome tour a year ago. Maybe even before. It’s the confused look in her eyes that seemed to come and go at events. Like she suddenly forgot where she was and why. Now it looks worse. It’s hard to tell what came first though, dementia or the rudeness, because she did this sudden exit move on almost every tour. She has always been rude and racist, it’s probably the filters slipping that we can see worsening now.
I thought the same exact thing, as a retired RN. After you’ve seen it, you can spot it. Her eyes aren’t there.
Thank you for pointing out these facts. The lopsided face also could mean Camilla is having strokes. She is of that age. Saying she is strictly rude and blah, blah is ignoring the reality of her age.
The face could also be bad plastic surgery. She’s shown up after an absence before looking tighter, less jowels.
It is of no surprise that Camilla is a low trash person.
I have to agree with Christina. This could be dementia. Not that she wasn’t always horrible, but she’s unfiltered. It reminds me of Trump. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is her last big tour.
If she had to retire on health grounds would, ahem, Kate have to take over her patronages or would they be funnelled to Sophie?
If the three of the top four are in poor health and others in their 80s and 90s are tottering, isn’t this Will’s big chance to shine by picking up the slack and leading from the front?
How would the Firm cope if only Edward, Sophie and Anne are working “fulltime? Can Will get away with barely working if top two have to really cut back on public events?
So much is made of working royals. The thing is some working royals are beyond retirement age now. Is charles going to select younger working royals now to take place of those stepping down
I think they would ask Sophie to take over because Kate is too busy with the Early Years and communing with nature. Too bad for them that no one pays attention to Sophie.
When the queen died, she had more than 400 patronages to be divided between the working royals. The Heir and The Hair took over 1. 1 between the 2 of them. They will simply say a patronage isn’t impactful and they rather invest their time into something with more impact. Whatever that means. Peace in the Middle East? Ending homelessness? Saving the planet? Mental health care with easy access to therapists for everyone? Early years? Very likely “where can we go on holidays for free” and “which celebrity would like to take a selfie with us” while we look busy working? They never did anything impactful in their lives…. except negative impact when stealing public land, closing nature centers for children, and selling land, adding their tenants to the list of homeless people.
Maybe she had a quarrel with charles and this is passive aggressive behavior
She is actually turning into a witch with those warts on her face .
She is just hating every minute of it .
To be honest they are both too old to be doing these events .
It’s time the other two got off their backside and did something .
Seems to me that Elizabeth was still quite spritely at their ages. Probably she was in better health. They are acting older than their ages. Seventies is relatively young these days. Charles is living with cancer, but Camilla’s behaviour while on official royal duty needs some explanation other than what appears to be her innate rudeness, lack of grace, and selfishness. Camilla does seem to stagger around quite a bit so she has some mobility issues. I don’t think Camilla has done any overseas trips on her own, has she? She’s not been the most active or useful consort.
Seventies aren’t that young. My parents had a lot of friends who were already dead. They died in their fifties and sixties. My mom died in her mid seventies and my dad definitely has slowed way down and has serious health issues.
Either drunk or dementia. Whichever, the various looks on her face in the pictures spell out something very wrong. And I also remember how she picked up the little girl’s hand by the sleeve.
Along with the Blue Tsunami, watching these two loathsome and evil people crash and burn in real time is soothing to my shattered soul. Maybe there is some justice in this dark world after all.
🙌
A reminder that people drink to compensate/self medicate for dementia. Especially if they’ve always been a medium to heavy drinker.
I wonder if she has dementia. This is really crass even for her. The bar is on the floor and she’s in the basement here.
Something seems off with her eyes. She looks lost, like she doesn’t even know where she is. I thought lately, even before this trip, that she looks preoccupied or something is heavily weighing on her. Now after reading these comments, I wonder if it’s dementia. She just seems lost and her eyes look vague.
If there was any doubt about why Camilla only made the last leg of the tour and how she feels about black and brown people. I think we should re-think why Harry went so hard on Camilla in his book. It wouldn’t surprise me if Camilla was racist towards Meghan.
I think it’s Parkinson’s. She’s occasionally suffered odd tremors that were dismissed as social tics, but I think there’s a neurodegenerative issue here.
If she has Parkinson’s or something else that would cause this and has risk of a fall. Charles still lets her walk down flights of airline steps and does not help her out, just walks ahead of her.
Alzheimers can cause tics too. But Parkinson’s is entirely possible. It would explain the irritability.
“Queen Camilla has been noticeably rude & weird during the Caribbean Flop Tour”
Add ‘drunk’ to the headline.
She’s been swaying in the wind like a palm tree.
She’s a mess. She also seems to have mobility issues.
I wouldn’t have blamed that woman if she had slapped Camilla’s hand away after Camilla looked away while feebly shaking her hand.
Camilla is so racist and rude. Sure, she might also be developing dementia, but even so, as with Trump, it’s just going to reveal more of her true, terrible self.
I would have applauded her if she’d swatted Camilla’s hand away after that unbelievable rudeness
The top picture should be their Christmas Card.
So…for all we’ve talked about Thomas Markle’s fake dementia, I actually think Camilla has legit dementia. She’s been off for sometime. Whether it’s Alzheimer’s, Wernicke’s, or something else, I don’t know. If this is her behavior getting drunk, that still says something but the wandering off and irritability suggests something else.
She seems to be ever so slightly shaking or jerking. I feel the same with Camilla as with Kate, leave the poor thing at home, or everyone will have your number. Is this part of why Harry and Meghan are back? Why a slight softening towards Meghan in the papers? Because the RF is falling apart at the seams? I watched the video again: that woman is not well. They shouldn’t have brought her.
She looks DRUNK!
Everyone could stop making excuses for a racist woman who has always behaved this way in front of cameras.
Remember her open laughter at the Inuk throat singers during a Canadian tour, many years ago.
Camilla’s behavior is nothing new. She has always made of point of being disrespectful to non-white folks. She doesn’t even attempt to hide her disdain. She’s a disgraceful emissary of the British establishment.
She’s certainly looking shaky and unwell. Which makes me wonder why she was flown out at all on the tail end of this tour? Charles certainly doesn’t need her support, it’s not like she’s a favourite with the crowds or bringing sparkle or glamour. If anything, she is a drag on a tour that wasn’t making great headlines in the first place. It’s the last day of the CHOGM, so it’s not like the British officials are going to send her home immediately, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they cloister her for a bit after this, just wheeling her out again around Christmas time.
Even if these were early signs of dementia, it doesn’t change the fact that she has always been a nasty female dog with the manners of a stable hand, treating other people like pesky flies—and that hasn’t changed at all.
It’s also a fact that she’s likely been guzzling alcohol since breakfast (as is probably the case for most of the British Royal Family), and this behavior could be a result of that; she might also be on some kind of medication…
Whatever the cause, the disorientation is very apparent—especially when she’s standing under a tent with an umbrella next to Charles, looking completely lost as she shifts the umbrella from one hand to the other, while Charles is clearly saying something to her.
Time will tell whether sobering up is enough or not…
Although, in her case—much like with Thomas M.—claiming dementia would be convenient, even if it weren’t actually the case. Instead of accusations of drunkenness, there would be sympathy—much like with Kate’s “cancer.” :)) —though, as we know, that only works for so long, too. 🙂
That’s why I’m having trouble coming up with any compassion for her— because she’s always been a horrible person and we’ve known it for decades. I wouldn’t ever wish illness on anyone, but she’s a hard one to feel any empathy toward after the way she’s treated other people for her entire life.
Did she tilt her umbrella and purposely hit a woman ?
I wonder if she’s having health or mental issues. She doesn’t look like she’s all there. She should just stay in England.
I LOL’d at the Patsy comment. I loved Ab Fab so much!
Mother Nature cursed her with the face her actions have earned. why is she still here?
Y’all, look at the woman in the back!! giggling with teary eyes from suppressing real laughter at the fact that Charles is putting his big nose into the glass to sniff it first, while his wife is straight on chugging down what they’ve been given.
😂😂😂😂
THIS is how I’ll remember them. Awful people.
Drunk AND demented. Fierce combination I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole.
