Pamela Anderson treated her 9-year-old train-carrier like crap

On Monday, we talked about Pamela Anderson’s appearance at the Hollywood Style Awards in Los Angeles. Pamela was wearing some terrible, hideous, falling-off-her-body dress that was cut up to her crotch in the front, but had a long, dirty, disgusting train in the back. Pamela decided to go to the event jacked up, as usual, but with the help of a small, helpless child. The girl was named Adelaide, and she is the 9 year old daughter of Pam’s make-up artist. In pictures from the red carpet, I thought the girl looked both terrified and disgusted with her duty. As it turns out, I didn’t even crack the surface.

Page Six is reporting that the whole incident has incited quite a bit of controversy, with children’s advocacy groups getting involved. Apparently, Pamela was treating this girl like crap all evening. Adelaide didn’t even have a seat at the event! She had to sit at Pam’s feet, where she was stepped on!

Pamela Anderson shocked the Hollywood Style Awards over the weekend by recruiting a shy, 9-year-old girl to hold up her risqué dress all night.

The well-upholstered pin-up turned up in a barely-there, pink Vivienne Westwood dress on Sunday — with the child holding her long train.

The bizarre move drew criticism from child advocacy groups who say little Adelaide Gault is too young to be used as a fashion accessory.

One guest told Page Six, “People were genuinely shocked. She didn’t even have her own seat and had to sit at Pamela’s feet, where people nearly stepped on her to get to the stage. The girl looked uncomfortable and kept tugging on her dress to get her attention, but Pamela waved her away.”

“Pamela was telling people it was her daughter,” the attendee said. “And, after she presented David LaChapelle with an award onstage, she shouted ‘daughter’ in front of the whole auditorium, and slapped her leg like she was calling a puppy. The girl rushed up to grab her train.”

Adelaide is the daughter of makeup artist to the stars Sharon Gault, who was believed to be at the event.

But Adelaide looked nervous as she was forced to carry Anderson’s dress up the red carpet, then backstage, and when the star made a dramatic exit two hours later.

Other guests at the bash at the Hammer Museum included Kim Kardashian, Lauren Conrad, Hayden Panettiere, Kelly Osbourne and Selena Gomez.

A spokesman for the Child Labor Coalition said, “I would want to speak to the child to ask her if it is something she willingly did. Nine is very young, and an awards ceremony is a long time for a child to be out holding a dress.” Anderson’s agent, Chris Smith, didn’t get back to us.

[From Page Six]

Ugh. Pamela has lost her damn mind. I can’t even imagine being exposed to Pamela’s depravity and general grossness as a child, let alone being stuck with Pamela for an entire evening as she treats me like a child slave. That being said, I’m sure this sh-t started out as a joke. Like, Adelaide’s mom was doing Pam’s makeup, and Pam invited the little girl to come with her at the spur of the moment. It probably wasn’t even something that was thought through. That doesn’t mean that Pamela gets to treat the little girl like crap, though.

    Effing idiot!

  2. Constance says:

Figures. PETA doesn’t give a s#!t about Human Rights. Vivienne Westward uses loads of leather and fur in her pieces. Pam’s been down that double-faced road before.

Somebody, anybody, please finish wrapping that mummy up and stick her in a tomb.

  4. Sudini says:

If PETA was a human rights org, they’d probably be called PETH..or PETP…or maybe PETE (people for the ethical treatment of everyone).

Whatever, the point here (IMO) is this child’s mother is an idiot to have let (or more like forced) her do this. How demeaning for this poor child. Her mother needs a kick in the arse.

  5. Ursula says:

You can see that that poor girl is traumatized. Pam Anderson is not exactly my favorite person.

  6. kim says:

    un fucking believable .

poor girl , someone should’ve slapped some sense into the dad who let this b.s. go on .

  7. gg says:

Pam hasn’t lost her damn mind – she never had any damn sense to begin with. Starting with her marriage to Tommy Lee, dressed as a white-clad hooker with her falling-out balloon breats as the star of the wedding. Went downhill from there.

Also – whether it’s for Westwood or Heatherette, or anybody outlandish or no, Hello, people, nothing about this booby trap says “model”. I’d like to see Tyra kick her ass.

  8. EvieJ says:

Where was the girl’s mother and/or father? It can’t all be Pam’s fault…if somebody treated my daughter like that there’s be some serious bitch-slapping going on.

  9. Lantana says:

That dress looks like a big giant diaper.

  10. dizzybenny says:

well Lantana Pam is the shit!

    What a Bissssh!

    Train carrier- Jokes write themselves!

  13. voodoobetty says:

I think this may be the first time that the wreck preceded the train.

  14. uck says:

It might have been fun for the little girl had she not been treated like a dog. If you’re going to take a child into an intimidating, adult situation, then the child has to be your primary concern – making sure she’s not scared, seeing that she has a seat, making her feel special and included, rather than lost and frightened and wanting her mother. This is gross.

  15. crash2GO2 says:

Nice. We get to see Pammie’s true colors. I can’t imagine how much further her image could possibly fall (or if she is capable of even noticing such a thing), but there will definitely be fallout from this IMO.

  16. anjasmomma says:

UCK you are absolutely correct…..celebrities need to learn that children are NOT accessories!

  17. sickofit says:

could it be she was on drugs AGAIN?

  18. NIKKI says:

You’ve got to be having a laugh!? wtf?! Pam needs to stay home and never come out. And no adult at the event saw fit to say something?! I mean gossiping to a mag about it isn’t going to do anything, no one thought “let me get this child a chair”?! Come on!

  19. Joe says:

The hose bag treats animals better than children. What a mess Pam is.

  20. Fire says:

This is INSANE! That poor girl! Isn’t Pamela a mother?? Not that it takes someone to be a mother to treat a child with dignity and respect, but I would think she would know better. Good lord!
How “fun” for the girl. You can tell what she thinks of this tramp – it’s written all over her face in every picture. Hopefully she sees Pamela as an example of an adult to NOT emulate.
That ugly diaper “dress” fashioned together with safety pins – hideous! I guess I don’t know “fashion” cuz I think this looks like scraps from a sewing room floor that they pinned together.
I’ve never really liked her – too plastic, trashy and hypocritical – but I like her even less now.

  21. gg says:

EvieJ, it says the girl’s mother works for Pam, if you’d actually read the article.

  22. snowball says:

I’m just shocked that someone deliberately MADE that dress to look like that. Vivienne Westwood is usually all kinds of crazy, but this..thing looks like it had input from Pammy.

“No, I want it shorter. And poofier, and more like something a homeless person would wear if they were naked and stumbled upon a pink parachute and some safety pins. To class it up, I want a train like Princess Di had.”

  24. Katyusha says:

I can’t get past the fact that the man in the photo is Westwood’s husband. Jesus.

I want to pet that old Great Dane’s gray muzzle. The dog, not Westwood.

  25. EvieJ says:

@gg: I realize her mother works for Pam – I do read articles before I post. My point was who was in charge that a child was treated like this. Again, if it were my child, it would NOT have happened.

  26. Taya says:

Pam Anderson = white trash talentless whore who will screw anything with a pulse.

Knowing Pam, she probably intimidated the mom and said she would fire her if her daughter did not become Pam’s slave.

  27. Judy says:

I personally think that Pamela Anderson is anything but pretty. She is the epitome of trailer trash and looks hard, coarse, and crude, all of which she is. For a long time, I communicated with a very intelligent Brit who found her appealing, and I will never understand why. Even if I didn’t know she was what she is, she would never be my idea of sexy or pretty. She’s the female version of a greasy snake charmer…yeah, put her in the carnival.

  28. GatsbyGal says:

She let that poor child sit on the FLOOR? It’s called a lap, you thoughtless bitch. I can’t believe Pam’s makeup lady actually allowed her daughter to be used in that way. Gee thanks, mom.

So Pam is against the abusive treatment of animals, but apparently when it comes to children she doesn’t give a shit.

  29. notprfect says:

    @ GatsbyGal,

Hey now, don’t get all crazy. She couldn’t let the little girl sit on her lap and and rumple that gorgeous gown, don’t you see?

Besides, the girl might have blocked Pammy from the view of the cameras. Can’t have that, when you’re a ginormous attention whore, ya know.

Seriously tho, this is pretty low, even by Hollyweird’s standards.

  30. Jag says:

Makes me wonder how Pam treats her own children, and how badly the makeup artist treats the little girl. How anyone could sit there and watch the girl almost be stepped on is beyond me. Why did the mother go along with this, and why did no one at the event protect the girl when they saw what was going on? Unreal!

  31. Mel says:

This is awful. That poor little girl.

  32. elvisgrace says:

I can’t even…what’s wrong with this girl’s mom? Also, that “couture gown” looks like something a four year old would make out of sheets and safety pins, to play-pretend being a princess. Then the four year old turns five, and realizes that this dress is, in fact, actually crap. Because a five year olds have more self-awareness, intelligence, and taste, and dignity than Pamela Anderson.

  33. 88Modesty88 says:

    LOL @ voodoobetty

  34. Merridith says:

Pam has a makeup artist????? That gets paid $$$???
I always thought Pam got herself trashed on whatever it is she gets trashed on a just painted that paint on hard and heavy. They need to take away her makeup artist lisence, ok I know there isn’t a makeup artist lisence, But wow, I can’t believe Pam pays some one to make her look so horrid.

  35. Jazz says:

Just as well the kid didn’t sit on her lap, she probably would of caught something. Looks like Pamela stepped out wearing nothing but a bedsheet.

  36. Fire says:

@Katyusha – that is not Vivienne Westwood’s husband. That is David LaChapelle, whom she was presenting the award to….

  37. vincent says:

That dress is utterly hideous! Why can pamela anderson not dress decently, just for once in her life? She is a tramp…even her choice in Couture wear lacks taste. Pamela Anderson is living proof that money cannot buy class.

  38. dirk says:

She looks wonderful in those black high heels. Pamela at his age is very neat and smooth legs, all evenly tanned, just around the ankle and the same interest are definitely brighter. s
It is a pity that it has established the coo sandals underline its sleek, pink heel contrasting with darker lower legs contrasting.
