We love a furry man who goes out to get his morning coffee wearing compression leggings, a hoodie and MULES! These are photos of Chris Pine a few days ago in Los Feliz, making a morning coffee run. The lengths people will go to avoid making their own coffee! Pine is apparently newly single, maybe Annabelle was the one who knew how to work his coffee machine. Maybe he was just picking something up after a morning run? Who knows. We’re seeing more of Chris Pine these days because he’s promoting All the Old Knives. I would imagine that’s why he waved to the paparazzo taking these pics too. As for Chris’s salt-and-pepper beard and general Hot Wolf Realness energy, when he was on the carpet for the All the Old Knives premiere, he explained why he’s so furry and wolfy these days:
Chris Pine is debuting a whole new ‘do. ET’s Lauren Zima spoke to Pine at the premiere of his new film, All the Old Knives, where he was rocking quite a different look from the clean-shaven face and short hair we’re used to seeing from the Wonder Woman star.
“I guess it’s like, equal parts laziness and equal parts something I may do in the future here,” Pine said of his salt-and-pepper beard and shaggy, ’70s-esque long locks. “If there’s any excuse not to shave and have makeup put on, I, you know..”
When asked if his new look was for a role, Pine kept it coy, telling ET, “Maybe.”
“It’s mostly laziness,” he quipped.
Pine’s cream-colored suit had a bit of a ’70s flare to it as well. “This is my Gregg Allman look,” the 41-year-old actor said, referencing the late The Allman Brothers Band leader. “This is my Gregg Allman ’70s look. My publicist said I look like a Bee Gee, but I prefer Gregg Allman.”
He wouldn’t say if the look was for a Bee Gees biopic, but he wouldn’t be opposed to starring in one either. “I mean, maybe? Call me up. I’m around,” Pine joked.
So… that’s kind of what I thought. Chris has been working during the pandemic, but whenever he’s not working, he’s just chilling at home in LA. He took the pandemic seriously, and I could see him enjoying the chance to just chill out at home, not shaving or doing much of anything. I bet he’s been reading a lot, actually. He’s a big reader. Also: did y’all know he was cast as Walter Cronkite in a movie about the media coverage of JFK’s assassination? That is CRAZY.

Best thing to see first thing in the morning at work! Love a silver fox 😉
I’m a beard-loving gal. They just do it for me, and I’m not at all ashamed
I do as well, and I love Chris Pine, but his beard is just a little too ‘mountain man’ adjacent for my taste. I think if it were a shorter I would be more on board – the hair is fab though. My younger brother is about the same age as CP and I know he would be dying for his lovely locks, lol.
Yup yup SAME! I love it. I am into Sasquatch.
His length is maybe my max though. I prefer contained but not overly manicured. mmmmmmm
It is ridiculous how handsome he still looks under all that. And it’s hilarious to me to know how many of his actor peers are dyeing their hair/beards.
I don’t think vanity should be put under the microscope for actors as much as it is but if it is going to be judged, at least judge the dudes equally.
Most men who wear a fabulous beard say that they just hate shaving so this tracks. That must be some good coffee.
There are very few men with beards that I want to kiss. Like I love The look but the logistics and the germs get to me.
I would lick the germs from his beard.
I love everything about him in those pictures. I’ve always liked the way he dresses, he’s so comfortable in his own skin. It’s sexy.
Usually I don’t like such big beards but it looks really good on him. A tough look to pull off.
Chris Pine is very, very good looking.
He goes and gets his own coffee? Right on!
I like that he runs errands dressed for comfort, me too.
Can not give those mules a right on, tho. Go full slippers with a back or comfy sneakers.
He seems pretty low key and not hostile or thirsty for PR on his coffee run.
(Take a note Baldwins)
As for the long hair, yes.
Beard? Needs a little bit of a trim.
Now stop dyeing your hair. Be yourself when not at work.
I suits him
I’m more excited about a long-haired dude over a beard for sure, but the man behind this particular beard is quite the…well he’s quite a man lol.
He’s just trying to look like Nick Offerman.
I cannot get behind the big beard on any man, and this seals it because clean-cut Chris Pine is hawt. I’m glad he’s enjoying some down-time and definitely get the reluctance to shave, as my yoga pants are hiding a week’s worth of stubble right now.
I like and appreciate a short, well-groomed beard on some guys (I really like my husband’s, which surprised me because I was originally opposed when he said he was growing one) but the big beard is too Duck Dynasty for me. So if Mr. Pine cares if middle-aged married ladies like his beard (which I am sure he DGAF about) then I am in the “no” column. 😂
This is a big ‘yuck’ for me. All those who love this look can have him.
I do have to add that despite completely losing the hot, he is still not the worse Chris. That will forever be Pratt.
@Kaiser … Yes, I knew about Pine’s Walter Cronkite role. Can’t wait! Did you know he has a movie opening on April 1, 2022 titled “The Contractor”? The trailers are wicked good. The film has a ‘Jason Bourne’ feel to it, which could be a good thing for Captain Fine. 🙂
I too am in the yuck–heck no column. I think never is the word that comes to mind.
Right? I just don’t get it, sorry. Not hot at all to me.
