Some Prince Harry news, of course. I have one funny/dumb story and one serious story. Let’s do the funny one first. When Harry was in London last week, he wore at least one Dior shirt, where eagle-eyed fashionistas noticed the “bee” embroidery. His suits were designer as well – slim cut, “basket” enhancing, sharp as hell. So when will Harry get a brand ambassadorship? According to OK! Magazine, SOON.

Adding more to his resume? After stepping out in a Dior shirt last week in London, Prince Harry is sparking rumors he may have recently signed an endorsement deal with the fashion powerhouse.

“There are of course some occasions when smarter clothing is required, and a suit was a natural choice for Harry’s court appearance, but opting for super brand Dior was a sartorial curveball for Harry,” fashion insider Miranda Holder told Newsweek on March 31. “It is highly likely that the Sussexes have an arrangement with Dior; it would be a highly convenient passive income for Harry and Meghan [Markle] who make ideal ambassadors for the brand,” she added.

In the past, I’ve actually idly wondered if various designer brands have contacted Meghan about brand ambassadorships or outright ad campaigns. Like, I think she would be a natural for a luxury purse ad campaign, like Tod’s. If Meghan has been contacted, she’s clearly turned them down. But I would love it if H&M were Dior ambassadors. I doubt they would do that though!

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Harry is heading back to London soon enough…but it’s not what you think. No news about the coronation at the moment (lol), but Harry has seemingly confirmed that he will appear live, in person, in court in June. This is for his lawsuit against the Mirror.

Prince Harry is expected to testify in a London courtroom in June in one of his phone hacking lawsuits against British tabloids, lawyers said Wednesday. A trial in a case involving the Duke of Sussex and three others against the publisher of The Mirror is due to start May 9 in the High Court and last six to seven weeks.

While the trial begins three days after the coronation of his father, King Charles III, Harry is is not expected to take the witness stand until early or mid-June, according to a preliminary schedule of witnesses. It’s not clear if Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will attend the coronation. Harry’s testimony will be the second time he’s been in the High Court in three months after his surprise appearance last week in a similar case.

The case against Mirror Group Newspapers alleges that Harry’s voicemail messages were intercepted. The Mirror publisher is contesting the claims and argues they were brought too late. The May trial is a test case by four claimants against the Mirror out of a larger group of well-known people who sued the publisher.

Maybe he’ll wear Dior to court again! Certainly, the Dior people will want to get him locked into a contract before his court appearance! I’m just kidding, obviously. I like that they’re specifying that Harry won’t be called to give testimony until early June. I just looked it up – Trooping the Colour is scheduled for June 17 this year. So, he would probably not be around for Trooping, not that the British media won’t make a meal out of this timing: “King Charles bans Harry from palace balcony for Trooping, nevermind that Harry is already back in Montecito!”
