Guarantee her husband has a partner he wants to be public with so its putting the message out there that they’ve been separated since 2017 and implying there was no affair or cheating.
I find it very odd though that Meryl was wearing her wedding ring as recently as an event 4 days ago (last Thursday). That to me is strange.
Also interesting is them being separated since the Weinstein exposé broke and the #metoo movement caught fire. I’ll never forget that acceptance speech where Meryl said ‘..and I’d like to thank god….Harvey Weinstein!’
She wasn’t really wrong about Weinstein. He was a God in the industry in the sense that he could literally make or break an actor’s career. Now of course we know the how and why but I doubt he had the balls to pull any of his shenanigans with an established, respected actress like Streep. IIRC, when the allegations came out she spoke out against him…
I thought she had a weird comment about him and the victims, but I can’t remember now.
ETA never mind, I think she just said that not everyone knew and she had had no idea, which isn’t that bad. I thought she was one of the ones who made a comment about being too “strong” to fall for Harvey but I was wrong.

It reminds me of the dark days of the Prop 8 campaign. Things got really ugly and I was getting calls from *UTAH* telling me that if I didn’t vote against Prop 8 the “homosexual agenda” was going to take over our schools. Actually, I had fun with some of those phone calls. We’ve come so far and regressed so much since then.

I LOVED Rick Astley when I was twelve. He has a beautiful voice and even though his pop songs were cheesy and fun, he actually recorded some really deep soulful tracks as well. But seeing him recently covering the Smiths just melted me. I still would. I absolutely would.
Same BettyRose. He started really young and isn’t that old now. I totally would.
There is a new show on Netflix called “I Woke Up A Vampire.” It’s for kids – my 10 year old just finished it and loved it. (It was a bit harder for us parents to sit through – it’s definitely a cheesy kids show!)
But there is an AMAZING Rick Roll in the last episode, and while I won’t spoil it further than that, I have to say: if you like Rick Astley or enjoy Rick Rolls, just watch the last episode. Or even just the last 15 mins of the last episode, and know that absolutely nothing in the previous episodes gave any indication this was coming.
I mean, there’s nothing better than a good Rick Roll. Do I tell a lie?
Every day at about 2:30 my son logs on to my Spotify account while he’s at school and Rick Rolls me remotely on the Echo Dot in our tv room 🤣

thought the article on plastic surgery was good and worth discussing. imagine all that we could do and be if we women didn’t spend so much time, money, energy and mental stress trying to look a certain way. and I don’t feel the need to be silent on plastic surgery. we are creating generation after generation of women hating their bodies. entire industries and billions of dollars are made off of our backs, and it’s made by making us hate how we look. when will it end?
I completely agree. It is disgusting how much money is made off women with cosmetics and plastic surgery. Sometimes the plastic surgery causes adverse effects to someone’s health. Breast implants often need to be eventually replaced. Botox and fillers are done in cycles. If it hurts your health or needs to be done more then once in your lifetime (injectables or surgery) it’s probably not worth it. Some of it contains poison anyway.
Maybe she leaked it herself. Maybe Meryl has found a new love that she feels she deserves to be with openly.
