There were two big events in the LA area over the weekend – the Baby2Baby gala (which got a great celebrity turnout) and Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday party, which got an even bigger celebrity turnout. Most of the paparazzi photos from outside of the Beverly Hills party are “exclusive” (meaning, $$$) but the party seriously looked like the Vanity Fair Oscar party or something. Kim Kardashian, 2 Chainz, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Zoe Saldana, Kate Beckingsale, Zoe Kravitz, Channing Tatum, Snoop, Casey Affleck, BEYONCE, and many more all came out for Leo. Apparently, this was part of a larger rollout for his official girlfriend as well:
Leonardo DiCaprio rang in 49 with Vittoria Ceretti by his side. The actor celebrated his birthday on Saturday by hosting a star-studded event in Beverly Hills with Ceretti, 25, and other celebrity friends.
DiCaprio and the Italian model were “affectionate and kissing throughout the night,” a source tells PEOPLE.
Other guests who attended the bash included JAY-Z and Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Tobey Maguire, Taika Waititi and Axl Rose. Lil Wayne was also in attendance and even performed, the source adds, noting: “At one point everyone was singing classic hip hop.”
DiCaprio remained the center of attention, though, as the source says the actor was “raised and carried around the room” at one point.
The party kept going into the early hours of the morning, with many guests staying past 4 a.m.
Whenever we hear about Leo hanging out in some exclusive club, he’s usually in the corner of some VIP room or booth, refusing to talk to anyone but his wolfpack. It’s interesting that when he throws the party, he’s the life of the party and talking to everyone. Sigh…one more year until he’s 50 years old. I don’t think Vittoria is the one, but I do think he likes her a lot and he’s going to try to keep her around for at least a year, just to prove to everyone that he really can date someone 25 or over.

I love that his plan to show everyone that he can date women who are over 25 is to date…a 25-year old. Really raising the age limit there, Leo.
I was wondering at Jay-Z and Beyoncé, but then I remembered The Great Gatsby. Realized I hadn’t seen The Wolf of Wall Street, so I got the BluRay from the library. Leo was busted ass looking a decade ago. I love Scorsese, but I’m realizing I need to see these in the theater, because I found myself fast forwarding and just watching the scenes with Margot Robbie. My patience with watching toxic men for entertainment is no longer what it was.
ETA Happy birthday to the man and hope Vittoria comes out of this feeling it was a positive experience.
Margot and Jonah acted circles around him in that movie but he did do some great physical comedy in it. I like him better as a comic character actor than suffering leading man. He just can’t portray vulnerability in a sincere way imo. It’s not in his range.
I think he can portray vulnerability in a sincere way, he did it in The Departed so much so for me that his characters demise broke my heart. Spoiler alert 😉
Jordan Belfort is trash and I don’t think anyone could portray him with any semblance of vulnerability. Robbie was the superstar in Wolf. And if it were Jen Lawrence played that role she would have been nominated. Margot should have been nominated for an Oscar.
I agree @girlninja he was great in the departed and that was the last time he did.
Does the concept of “the one” even exist for Leo at this point? Not sure you can gage that when he doesn’t seem to be keen on settling down completely anyway. That said I agree that he likes her a lot. He was publicly seen with her pretty fast by his standards and the jet setting around different cities to keep up with her fashion runway schedule seemed out of character for him. I think at the very least she’ll be the first 25-29 age range gf so he can rewrite that narrative
We’re not really going to sit here and act like Leo can’t ACT. He’s a great actor making some of our favorite films of the past decade. Like we’re not going to do that.
But he does seem to be a garbage partner. I hope the girlfriends still get the prime real estate and Toyota Prius package…maybe now they get a Fiat, but I don’t think Vittoria will be as impressed.
No sorry I think he’s completely overrated and he’s been in zero of my favorite films.

The mental image of him being hoisted up and carried around the room made me both laugh and feel a bit sorry for those carrying him.
I’m sure I’ll be proven wrong because Leo never seems to change but I do think Vittoria is different.
First of all she’s still married as far as I know but that hasn’t stopped Leo from letting everyone know this is serious by Leo standards. Second she has a stellar career and is the closest thing to a super model these days. I’m sure she’s trying to break into acting and will use his contacts wisely but she is already a big deal in her own right. And lastly I’ve had a soft spot for her since her spot on Nepo comments. She worked hard and I don’t think she’ll put up with any shit. And again, he honestly seems very very *smitten*.
I’m also getting vibes of “expect the unexpected” with this one. Especially cos it’s so different to the Gigi thing. I actually think Gigi was willing to date him but he was hesitant and kept it casual, not the other way round. Her and Bradley going public quickly convinced me. Leo definitely likes Vittoria way more, she’s getting the girlfriend soft launch within 3 months and he really cannot do much better model status wise outside the Hadids or Kendall Jenner and he wouldn’t touch the latter with a ten foot pole.
She’s getting the ”hard launch” which is rare. Plus she’s completely different from Gigi and the Jenners and their rich insider parents and I think he probably respects that. Leo has been a working actor all his life and a star for more than 1/2 but he did come from a modest background and had to audition like all the other kids.
Plus she’s from the scene and knows the cool peeps. Not the hwood ones but the global night club scene which Leo loves.
Someone in the Daily Mail comments said it looked like Kate Beckinsdale was wearing Kate Middleton’s wedding ring (as in her whole costume was some ugly fabric ring, shiny black tights covering her hoo ha and giant platform shoes) and now I can’t unsee it
His next birthday is the big one. 50. I’ll bet his taxi light is on.
