The Huffington Post had this scan from inside People Magazine’s latest “Heidi Montag: Addicted to Plastic Surgery” issue. On the left is Heidi “before,” but that’s before the latest round of synthetic enhancements, not before she ever had plastic surgery. Heidi already had a boob job and a nose job before all of this and she’s only 23. There are photos of her below before any plastic surgery and she looks so cute and normal. Maybe she looked more Hollywood with the first unnecessary nose job but with this latest one she looks freaky. Her new nose is too tapered and fake-looking. Plus she had a bunch of other new work that is making her face look all jacked up, like a brow lift, another nose job, neck lipo and botox. Botox at 23?
Heidi’s costar on The Hills, Audrina Patridge, says it’s too much to get so much done. Audrina had a boob job but she knew when to say when:

I’m all for getting some help with the aging process, and I’m pretty certain that I’ll have a facelift when I get to be of age. My mom had one and she had just enough work done so that she looks fresher and not fake. This is ridiculous, though. Heidi’s face is looking really strange and she’s not even in her mid 20s. She looks like a cartoon character! Her boobs are ridiculous. Whose idea was this to get so much done? Did Heidi do it to score the cover of People? How is she going to feel in 10 years when she’s still walking around with this face? You can easily inflate and deflate breast implants, but once you mess with your face you’re stuck with the results.

I think it’s hilarious (and sad) that she had lipo in a few areas, and simultaneously had fat injections in others. Actually, mostly sad. She can’t go back now, only more and more surgery as she grows dissatisfied with her looks. Which she will, because she’s obviously very insecure. The procedures listed make it clear: lipo on her neck?! And then there will be scar tissue, and it will get harder and harder to make her look human. Poor little idiot.

I think she based her new look off the appearances of A-list stars who are older. Had she looked at pics. of them when they were in their early 20’s she would have seen beautiful woman who looked more like she did before her additional procedures. She took all the youthful fat out of her face for a more sculpted look that would have come naturally in the next 10 years or so. She will look 40 when she is 30 – unless she has even more work done.

Our society is contributing to this. Maybe the girl is obsessed but the audience and industry feeds this. Just about every cover of a magazine reshapes women to be thinner and “ideal” and younger once they reach a certain age and takes out all of their so-called “flaws”. We say young girls should have plastic surgery, I’ve read this about Miley, Ali Lohan, people call Noah Cyrus “ugly”, and so on. So when we look at someone like Heidi, let’s be aware of the many people who constantly criticize some feature of a person, all of the pressure to be younger, all of the pressure to be thinner, all of the pressure to have something different than what nature gave us, all of the pressure for an ideal that does not really exist, all of the over importance we place on looks (see comments about Depp, Cloony, Jolie, Beyonce, so much value on “pretty and handsome” people usually under the age of 50). It’s the unhealthy feeding the unhealthy.

A good, responsible surgeon won’t do the work if they view it as unnecessary or age-inappropriate. Her surgeon is the plastics equivalent of Octomom’s IVF doctor.

plastic surgury is suppose to enhance what you have or correct a problem not make you an entirely different person. her before photos I would say a nose job and maybe some lip injections to make her mouth proportionate but that would be it she use to have a fresh sun-kissed look. now she looks about 32 and like a worn out porn star. not at all a good look for a 23 yr. old.
@Melisha- To be fair, she didn’t just have this surgery done, so it isn’t as if she could have known months ago that the earthquake in Haiti was supposed to happen. You do not know what she has or hasn’t done regarding the situation in Haiti.
I understand the points you have made, but if she wants to have 1000 procedures done to her body, it is her right to be an idiot and have them done. She is not the only person in L.A to do those things and we aren’t bagging on them, and telling them that they are selfish for thinking of no one but themselves.
Haiti is a terrible, terrible tragedy, and people should help as much as they can, but it isn’t fair to criticize people for spending money on ridiculous things before the Haitian tragedy happened, and while that money could have gone to other charities, so could the money that many Hollywood celebs/pseudo celebs spend on cars, private jets, clothes, furniture, homes, cosmetic procedures they don’t need, etc. Just because you haven’t heared that this particular person hasn’t helped, doesn’t mean that they haven’t. I read the People Mag article on ONTD. The look on Spencer’s face as he sits on the bed next to Heidi prior to surgery says it all, he looked liked he was really worried…I actually feel a bit sorry for him. Heidi addresses the point that people will blame Spencer and says point blank that this is her idea, she wants to do it and that he thought it was a unneccessary and I believe her. He also said he couldn’t figure out how her boobs could be made bigger as she has ‘such a little body’.
I feel sorry for the girl. I am not fan of either of them but to put yourself through that much pain for nothing more than outward appearances when there is nothing wrong with you in the first place is really very sad.

Bonnie Hunt talked about her on her show recently. Hunt shows a close up of her pre-op first surgery compared to now, and it’s absolutely shocking. Apparently, and this is according to People, she nearly died. They had given her demerol and she nearly stopped breathing. They had to supply her with emergency oxygen.

Does this make anyone else sad ? She has got regret do that to her body. Has she seen the above side by side picture and seen how much better she looked before. I thought plastic surgery was supposed to enhance ones features not turn them into an awful caricature. The new Heidi looks like she could be old Heidi’s mother. And to be 23 and look so much older, ugh.

whoa, if i didn’t know heidi was actually 23 i would have thought the woman on the right was like 35 or so. she’s been pumped, plumped, yanked around so much she looks like a frozen wax dummy! heidi looked so much better before a scalpel touched her body. too bad, she’s going to look like a freak joan rivers “i can’t raise my eyebrows or smile anymore” before she’s 30!

I’m 23 and i couldn’t imagine doing what she did. I may not be the most secure person, but i feel good being me. Is Heidi the hollywood icon i’m now supposed to look up to? to each their own i guess.
I’m 50 years old and *I* don’t have wrinkles on my neck! I don’t even have frown lines or wrinkles on my forehead either! And I’m FIFTY!!!!!!!
When she turns 50 years old, she will realize her mistake. Right now, she has NO idea what she really did to her flesh. The skin can only take so much. And what happens if her money is gone? What is gonna do then?
My dear Heidi, young people don’t have wrinkles yet. The wrinkles start around 30ish. You were soooooooooooooo cute before. I wish good and kind things for you; because in 30 years you will hate yourself for doing what you did when you did NOT have any wrinkles to fix. You will look back and think, “What was I thinking?! I should of stayed the way I was. I didn’t have wrinkles. Where were the wrinkles???? I actually looked pretty and sweet at 23.” Good luck, Heidi. Please no more surgeries.
