Greta Lee became a brand ambassador with Loewe last year, I think. It’s such a great collaboration – they just fit together, it just makes sense. Greta wore two Loewe looks for the Emmys and Emmy parties. The red carpet dress was the white lace look, which gives off very “repurposed lace tablecloth” energy. At some point during the night, she changed into a pale blue Loewe with cutouts. That one reminds me of Prada, especially with the terrible darting.
Aja Naomi King wore Giambattista Valli – she’s beautiful but I’m kind of over Valli’s mullet dresses.
Naomi Watts wore an absolutely tragic Balenciaga at the Emmys, but then she switched into a sparkly minidress for the parties. The Balenciaga was wrinkled and it didn’t look great, although I always love an emerald green.
Diane Lane wore Prabal Gurung – kind of a snooze, but it’s fine/boring.

Naomi Watts is actually my favorite lol though I agree it was wrinkled. But the color and fit was just perfection and I loved the red lips with the dress.
The green on Naomi is just too *heavy* and too much fabric for her petite build. Embrace the plunge or a v neck middle aged, older woman. Diane’s dress is reminding me of a (much better constructed, but nonetheless, similar) dress Duchess Sophie wore. These necklines make ladies of a certain age’s boobs look gigantic, which is an extremely unfair criticism of Diane because I know that is not the case irl
At this point, I feel adding “tragic” to Balenciaga is a given, but I love Naomi’s sparkly mini dress.
I really dislike the nipple darts on the first dress (and on any dress really). They are so distracting and make the dress look a bit cheap.
I LOVE Greta’s red carpet Loewe. The other one is a bit of a snooze and looks more like a Parda knockoff to me. Green is my favorite color so I love the shade of Naomi’s Balenciaga but that was not the right fabric choice for that dress and it does it is a big disservice because it’s actually a pretty design.
Diane Lane is gorgeous.
