Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce disappeared pretty thoroughly after the Super Bowl, minus Travis’s appearances on his podcast, New Heights. He doesn’t have to stay in one spot for the pod though, and reportedly, he and Taylor took a long and quiet vacation after the Chiefs lost in the Super Bowl. I still don’t know where they went, did the Swifties figure that out? Well, it looks like they’re on vacation again – they were just spotted in Park City, Utah, home of the Sundance Film Festival and some good ski resorts.
A month after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss, Travis Kelce was seen for the first time with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
The outing flew under the radar for days until DeuxMoi published a video on Monday, March 10, of the couple grabbing dinner last week in Park City, Utah.
In the clip, taken from a distance, Kelce can be seen holding the door of a white vehicle open for Swift, who appears to be wearing a gray coat. After she is safely inside, the NFL tight end, wearing a beige outfit, follows suit.
So… at least we know they’re still together. Because I certainly thought there was a chance that they would break up, and I was struggling to interpret their silence and disappearance. It looks like they’re fine, they’re still enjoying some private time together and they’re not ready to come up for air quite yet.
Speaking of, Travis really is coming back for one more year on the Chiefs. I think that’s what this week’s New Heights podcast will be about, Travis’s decision and how he came to it. Chiefs’ coach Andy Reid has been saying the same thing since the Super Bowl, that he fully expected Travis to come back for at least one more year. Unfinished business, I guess.

Last week’s New Heights pod actually featured the discussion about Travis’ return. Not surprised he and Taylor disappeared for a while. The Birds thumped the Chiefs pretty hard.
Travis already spoke about the decision to come back on last week’s pod. he said he felt like he hadn’t played to his best all season, he’d let his teammates down and he didn’t want to go out on such a bad note, especially when he still loves playing football. Honestly, it seemed to me that he was being wayyyy too hard on himself and shouldering all the blame for that terrible loss but these elite athletes are built different in that way.
I agree Travis seemed too hard on himself. He also seemed super wrecked by the loss…like, way more than is warranted. The Chiefs had a great season. I felt bad for him.
Ms Swift both deserves a break- that eras tour was 2 years of her life, and was a serious undertaking. and she has the ability to disappear, as she did after the ish with the gross black-nazi rapper and his wife.
I hope they are having a nice time without both being under tremendous time commitments to their careers for a month or two.
I would think this is a test of sorts. It is one thing to love sneaking time in with someone – all time seems special and rare. Once you are with someone day in and day out- it is a different way to live and make the relationship look different.
Though in the words of the great Dolly Parton on marriage, her advice was “stay gone”. And she and Mr. Dean had a long, successful relationship. May he rest in peace.
And here I was just thinking there was a disturbance in the force. Well, T and T live on. Huzzah.
I get why they disappeared for a number of reasons — oversaturation, the SB ending badly, the (preposterous) proclamations by the media that she was on some giant losing streak after completing a 2 year world tour — exhaustion… pick one. I didn’t have break up on my bingo card.

I do think Kelce will run it back for one more year, the chance for another Superbowl appearance is too tantalizing. However, I wouldn’t put too much stock in how athletes feel in the off-season. Of course he feels optimistic now – let’s see how he feels in August when he puts on pads again.
Can we give the breakup speculation a rest for five minutes with these two? It’s the same cycle as after the last Super Bowl, or her going on tour with people predicting a split – they’re a celeb couple so who knows what’s really going on behind closed mansion doors, but if they’re still together through another NFL season are we going to keep doing this?
Hope everyone who was super-keen on casting the Eagles as the progressive heroes against the evil MAGA Chiefs has seen the team’s confirmation they have accepted a White House invitation…
Remains to be seen if every player will go, but I imagine after Trump withdrew the invitation last time due to players pulling out, the White House made sure that won’t be happening again. Knowing there were just as many Eagles MAGA players as Chiefs ones, and many gave the same PR answers about Trump coming to the game and visiting the White House… it was fascinating to watch people jump to support the Eagles over that.
