Chloe Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison got married in Paris over the weekend

Congratulations to Chloe Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison, who got married in Paris, France, over the weekend! Chloe and Kate have been together for almost seven years. Chloe officially came out last fall, when she urged fans to vote for VP Kamala Harris. Vogue got the official pictures and scoop, which had lovely quotes like Chloe sharing, “Making this promise to each other in a new way, and exchanging these vows… it’s important to just stay every day choosing each other.” Aw. Both brides wore Louis Vuitton dresses for their big day. Kate wore a lacy white dress with a sweetheart neckline while Chloe wore a light blue gown with matching gloves and a veil. Here’s more, from USA Today:

The “Carrie” star, 28, and her partner Kate Harrison tied the knot over Labor Day weekend after almost seven years together, she confirmed to Vogue. The outlet published exclusive photos of Moretz’s blue Louis Vuitton dress, as well as a video from the couple’s fittings.

“It just feels like me,” Moretz told Vogue. “I never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like, I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.”

Harrison, a model and photographer, wore a white dress.

Moretz thanked Louis Vuitton and the fashion house’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquie`re in an Instagram post, where she shared photos from the Vogue shoot.

“Your generosity, artistry, dedication and kindness knows no bounds,” she wrote. “We feel so incredibly grateful. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it, but, thank you. Your vision made our day all the more meaningful.”

We have to talk about both of the brides’ fashion!!! Let’s start with Kate’s lovely white dress. While the cut is fairly standard, I love the design. The beading is so intricate, and overall, has a very elegant feeling. I love the sweetheart neckline, but I’m a little biased because of my own wedding dress. The long veil complements it so well. I also love Chloe’s blue gown. It’s just perfectly suited for her. The color matches her skin and hair perfectly. Her after-party outfit was super fun as well. She wore a custom Louis Vuitton jacket and trousers, complete with a cowboy hat. All in all, I think that fashion-wise, Kate and Chloe knocked it out of the park. I hope we get more photos and stories from their wedding. Congrats to them again! May they have a lifetime of happiness.

I loved the video. I love Chloe’s after party dress. I teared up when she tried on her gown, even though it’s not my taste. She was so happy!

And I loved both of Kate’s looks, but when they removed the sheer overlay from her after party look I gasped. It’s just absolutely gorgeous.
